While the examples are attractive but I found the contents to be rather average.

This would be a good book to read again in February to get inspired for garden season. There are pictures of interesting planted containers, and then each plant is described along with a picture of it individually.

British published, so a bias toward those plants, but some really interesting combinations. Due to it's earlier publishing date, some of those "vivid," combos have fallen out of popularity right now.

Good book but not what I was looking for. It has nice pictures with a clear to understand layout and directions. Less detailed but more inspirational then other container books I've read. Another good DK book. :)
