There's nothing like a Lynda Chance novella, I'm never disappointed! My alpha male craving has been sated!

This was a fairly quick read. Logan is a total Alpha male – LOVED HIM. He is possessive, rude, moody, hot, sexy!
I liked Lauren too, she took no shit from him. Loved to see him brought to his knees. And I got an epilogue TEN YEARS LATER!!
I am usually not disappointed with a Lynda Chance book. This one was fairly short. Her Heros are really totally politically incorrect, wanting to be in control, nearly wanting their women barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen. But we need to escape from reality sometimes......

Whoa, this book had the two most annoying characters in it I have ever read. Logan was all alpha, but frequently crossed into psycho, and Lauren was just plain fucking annoying bitch. Not to mention NOTHING happened other then them constantly arguing or having sex. I felt not an ounce of passion or love between them. In fact give it a few years and they both will be featured on a DATELINE episode...
Side Note: I'm climbing on my soap box today to rant about something that annoys the FUCK out of me. Constant TIME JUMPS in books. You know what it says to me when I read a book and every other chapter is "2 weeks later" "3 months later" etc etc etc It says LAZY WRITER. It says to me that the author doesn't have enough of a story idea to keep a couple moving forward in real time. Ok, stepping off my soapbox now...

This is my favorite book from Lynda Chance. You really got to love the intense, dominant Alpha to enjoy this story. He's pretty much a caveman and to some readers he might sound mean so if you don't prefer a very dominant man, this may not be your thing.

This was an okay read for me. I am all about an alpha male read but Logan just seemed a little bit more on the cray-cray side.
Logan catches Lauren staring at him in a coffee shop one morning. He finally decides to approach her and she blows him off thinking he is just another good-looking guy out to only get laid. He definitely isn't going to take no for an answer from her as he knows there is some definite chemistry between them.
He definitely pursues her like a man possessed.
While Lauren does love his dominance in the bedroom, she is definitely wary of him when they are out.
All in all, this was a nice, short read.

This was a reread and it did not disappoint. I loved watching Logan try real hard to hide his crazy, only to watch him lose his shit. 😈
If you like dominant, bulldozery, controlling, jealous, possessive, protective caveman Heros, Logan is your dude.💕
Lauren is a little annoying with all her stubborn resistance to Logan's whirlwind "Me Tarzan, you Jane" courtship, but the sheer entertainment of Logan sweating bullets, trying to keep it together, more than made up for it. I mean, jeez, Lauren, 🙄 this hot man only wants to lock you away in his beautiful home and keep you barefoot and pregnant, pampered, and drowning in orgasms. Me thinks you should rethink all this resistance... 🤡
Bottom Line? Still a fun, if not super deep or emotional, read. Great for a weekend afternoon. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

"Why not?" She asked as casually as she could manage.

I would have to give this one a 3 or 3.5 stars. It had some funny moments, some sweet moments, and some I want to shake the sh!t out of you moments. I really enjoyed Logan's insanity for Lauren. Very good insta love read.

3 stars all for Logan. He’s hot and intense and sometimes comes across as ragey. Would have loved some more sweet and gentle moments with him though. The heroine Lauren is so bland she can be anyone, like I really don’t see what Logan sees aside from the fact that apparently she’s very beautiful.

3.5 stars. I enjoyed this! Logan at first was a little too over the top (ok he was like that through out the book)but damn if he isnt all alpha and hot!!! Loved Lauren too, she really did try to hold her own but Who could last with Logan!:) It wasn't perfect and if A Logan really existed I would tell Lauren you need to run girl:) lol but he isn't and I do love a sexy possessive alpha man!

Yikes! This hero went beyond alpha possessive straight to crazy stalker. Like I told my sister, it's great good fun in fiction but in real life I'd be running for my life. Hero is intensely possessive and jealous of anyone getting near this girl who he has decided is the one for him. He sees her in a coffee shop and totally ignores that she doesn't want to get involved with him. Loved it.

ALPHA ALERT!!!
I loved it!
It was a very low-angst read but I loved the OTT Logan and the fact he knew that he was OTT and that he was doing everything he could not to be so overwhelming because he didn't want to scare Lauren.
Plus, it was STEAMY af!
If you look for a read where the hero worships the ground our heroine walks on, this book is it!
And I freaking loved it!!!

Logan is never told no, so when he see's Lauren and is instantly attracted to her he can't believe she turns him down flat. But Logan is not one to take no for an answer either so he sets about getting Lauren. What started as Logan wanting Lauren in his bed has quickly turned into Logan needing Lauren. Lauren was told all about Logan's type and she has no interest in being a notch on his bed post even if he is unbelievable handsome, and funny, and persistent.
Soon against her better judgement Lauren finds herself spending time with Logan which quickly turns into spending more time with Logan. Till she is unable to deny how badly she wants him. Now that Logan finally has Lauren he has no plans of ever letting her go and he is willing to do whatever he has to to keep her.
This was a great Lynda Chance book. It had everything I have come to expect and love about Mrs. Chance's book. From beginning to end Pursuit had my attention. I loved Logan he was a great hero who knew what he wanted, and was willing to do anything to keep Lauren. Logan was possessive, demanding, strong, and had a one track mind when it came to Lauren. All around this was a great book.

I enjoyed this quirky OTT Alpha male & his mate. The attraction is one of the most "insta" that I've read in a while. In some books that I read, 40% is still at the serious flirting and initiating the sexy moves. In this book, at the 40% mark they are waaay into their sexual relationship.
Logan is all Neanderthal in this one. Lauren even refers to Logan as her Neanderthal!
The POV is 3 person, alternating Lauren/Logan. It might even be more Lauren's POV.
Logan's attraction to Lauren is very strong. He's almost too much, but Lauren is surprised at her reaction- she likes Logan's attention.
A good portion of the book is a bit superficial. Nothing but smexing and more smexing....... oh darn...I know that I sound naive', but were they going to coming for air & talk? Lauren is 25 & Logan is 29, but they seemed to be a few years older than a couple dating in their 20's. Both are established in their careers, and Lauren is having great success at her job. Logan's job is rarely mentioned.
I really enjoyed the last 20-25%. Their arguing was funny and seemed natural. This is where they acted very immature- just like a real couple would do. Each of them paraphrasing what the other said & assuming what the other is thinking (I hate when that happens!- what? who me?!)
I would give this 3.75 stars but rounding up since the last bit is so damn cute.

I really enjoyed this! Logan was lovely. I'll admit if this was real I'd tell Lauren to run for the hills, but it's not so I can love his craziness! He was so obsessed with her! It was great.

is a short book perfect for those of us who loves an alpha male! Logan meets Lauren in a coffee shop one day and the hunt begins. He's determined to have her and use all the tricks in his alpha manual to get her. Lauren, on the other hand, is determined to not loose herself completely to this alpha man.

He never lets up and it's really entertaining being in his mind. I love how hard he think he's trying to be subtle in his attempt to win Lauren over, but completely fails the next moment when his alpha nature breaks through.

From the first moment that Logan Crenshaw sees Lauren Jacobs in the coffe shop, he knows without a doubt she's going to be his. But he doesn't want to scare her off so he reins in his caveman instincts and tries very hard to play nice. Lol I really had such fun reading this, Logan was pure alpha male all the way complete with his sexy growl. Lauren was a delight, she could see what Logan was like, and although she knew she should balk at his OTT attitude, she just couldn't help secretly enjoying how he was with her.
I loved this story there was plenty of sharp and witty dialogue, and with plenty of hot and sexy moments as well. Both lead characters were so well written, and I just couldn't put this down once I started reading it. I love this authors books she never disappoints. Her leading men are always sexy OTT alphas who come alive on the page.

So I feel dumber for reading this but I didn't hate it. The guy is certifiable and Lauren should have ran for the hills immediately but since they are both so hot, it doesn't matter that he's a lunatic and she lacks a personality-- they look too good together. 🤷♀️

2.95 Stars. Just wasn't for me.
So this is a short "novella" style book. I truly appreciate that there was no ridiculous cliffhanger, but I just didn't have time to embrace the characters. I won't remember their names by the time I get home from work I'm afraid.
The writing style was a bit stilted for me. Kind of choppy and ...well, I guess kind of the dialogue of a Neanderthal. Which since that's what Logan was accused of being makes sense, but I just wasn't a fan. The tenses, as well as the POV from a narrator, changed back and fourth in a unique style that I'm not sure how I felt about.
Did I enjoy it? Not immensely.
Would I recommend it? Not to the average NA reader, but if you were just a plain ole' Alpha-Junkie without much need for an intricate plot then yes.
Was it worth $0.99? Um... Probably not to me.

I had high expectations from this one, I really did. I love the H, he is doing everything (being patient, thoughtful, protective...) to get the h to open up to him and to give him a chance at their relationship. Now the h, I HATE HER!!! She is treating H like he is just a fuck-buddy that she can use and then dispose of although she knows the H wants more than just sex. And by this point they have been together for over two months. Just DNF!

Okay! I liked this story alot. Cause as you know I like any book that has a hot/alpha male attached to it.
But sometimes he just scared me! He was sexy/hot/ and all that, but there was just some parts in this book that made me want to 'flinch' and say watch out!
