Book Detail: Where did my life go? Why did God do this to me? Where is all the good in the world?
Have you found yourself asking these same questions? You're not alone. These are the questions author Jacci Mendelsohn found herself asking after the loss of her father - a loss that shifted her life into a completely different direction. From becoming a failing teen mom, to being raped, taking drugs, and making all the wrong choices, Jacci's so-called perfect life wasn't what she expected it to be. She tried everything she could to become the person she thought she was meant to be. Feeling out of control, she wondered where all the good in her world had gone.
But life has a way of throwing curve balls at you. Some you can predict, but most you cannot. Without warning, God popped up in Jacci's life and started to help her. Jacci was not anywhere near becoming one of "those whack-job Christians," but somehow God was still able to show Jacci the love she had been longing for. Through vivid dreams, visions, and whispers in her gut, Jacci crossed a barrier from hate and frusturations into God's love and healing. Her life now has hope and purpose, and she hasn't been the same since. Jacci shares her powerful story so others who need meaning and love in their lives can find it through the pages of hers.
Hello, my name is Jacci and what is there to say about myself that isn't in my book?? I'm a Christian woman saved by the grace of God, and would be nothing without his mercy. I'm no where near being perfect, but God is working on me.
I'm a mom of 3 children (2 boys and 1 girl), a wife, and a pet owner! My parents and grandparents have all passed on, leaving me with one brother that lives thousand of miles away, but God provided me wonderful in-laws and family through my husband.
My hope is that my books will provide hope for those who may need it. There isn't much I haven't gone through between drug addiction, adultry, rape, loss of loved ones, suicide attempts, and the list goes on. I was one of those people that thought Christians were just crazy, and didn't have anything to offer me and were all just out for themselves. God came to me when I least expected it, and the truth has set me free.
God holds onto me, no matter how far I wander. He always somehow finds me and brings me home. I'm so grateful for His actions in my life.
I'm willing to do speaking engagements at your place of worship and share what God has done in my life. You can contact me anytime at jacci_de@yahoo.com
