Mardi Gras is a time of debauchery, the “last hurrah” for all the sinners before Lent begins on Ash Wednesday. Bailey is on a mission to wallow in some serious carnal delights, and Bourbon Street is chock-full of options.
When a handsome military man appears at her side, she knows he’s the one for her. Beads are exchanged, flesh exposed, but their night of sinfully wicked lust ends with the coming of the dawn. Bailey has the chance to keep the passion alive, as long as she has the courage to take the chance of a lifetime.
A Romantica® contemporary erotic romance from Ellora’s Cave
World-renowned neurosurgeon, master chef, secret member of American royalty, seducer of legions of beautiful, outrageously sexy angels and demons and vampires and werewolves and the occasional pirate, Lisa Fox has done it all…in her own mind. In reality, she can generally be found at her desk with a cup of coffee close at hand. Or maybe a martini. It really depends on the day.

A sexy, raunchy, quickie read. I am a bit taken aback by what they do during Mardi Gras (sure, this is fiction, and I am well aware of that. But I wouldn’t be surprised if what they’ve been doing also happens for real) but I can’t help but think it’s a sexy meet-cute regardless. The hero seems like a borderline dom, but I find the ending sweet despite that. I’d have loved it if this was longer so that we could see them grow as a couple.
It’s the last night of Mardi Gras and Bailey has spent the entire festival working at a bar, and she’s finally free to cut loose and sin. And she is looking forward to sinning. She wanders the French Quarter, searching for the perfect guy to commit a carnal act with.
She finds this man in Rick, a hunky Marine. Flirting leads to flashing, which leads to a sizzling romp in Rick’s hotel room. Bailey set out to have a sensual, one night stand, but she may have found more than she bargained for as more than lust is kindled between them.
Lisa captures the drunken debauchery of Mardi Gras, painting a wonderful tapestry of lust and sex as Bailey wanders the French Quarter. The flirty banter between Bailey and Rick is entertaining, and when the action hits the bedroom, it’s hot and heavy.
Why be good when you can be bad? it's the last day of Mardi Gras and Bailey is out for one last bit of fun. A chance encounter with a strange man is exactly what she needs. This story reads fast, burns hot and makes you want to head to New Orleans for a splash of fun. There's just enough smut with a hint of a possible future to make you wish this story a bit longer. Anyone who enjoys tales from Mardi Gras but doesn't have a lot of time will enjoy this story.
