When I read this in early 2019, I thought it was groundbreaking. After a second read, I realized it's just plain wrong! Almost all of the advice she gives on edibles is wrong, and she spends more time comparing gardens here to gardens up north, which should never be a thing. Gardening in Florida is totally different from northern states. Northern states can grow "classic" crops, but Floridians have access to tropical and subtropical varieties that could never make it up north. She also incorrectly identifies several invasives. I was disappointed on my second read. A better pick would be to study Rob Greenfield's Orlando garden, or anything by GreenDreamsFL or other tropical/subtropical permaculture sources. Even Gaia's Garden, which was focused on the north, was far more revolutionary and useful than this.
