‘Captivated by the Cougar’ continues the ‘Seneca Falls Shifters’ series with Berkley’s story which is full of mystery, sizzling mate attraction (or maybe avoidance for a bit), and characters we’ve come to know from the first story.

I liked Berkley, and I ‘got’ her as well. She’d had her heart broken when the man she’d loved turned out to be a cheating louse (even though he wasn’t her mate). Now, when she and her wolf know full well that Preston is indeed her mate – well, she’s balking at trusting any man with her heart once again. Preston has the patience of, well, a cat waiting at a mouse entrance as he knows that Berkley has to come to him on her own, to acknowledge that he is her mate without pressure – but that doesn’t mean he can’t tease, get under her skin, and generally look after his mate until she finally agrees to the mutual claiming.

Unfortunately, a nasty piece of work from Berkley’s past has come to the resort and nothing is as it appears on the surface. Soon there will be accidents that aren’t and a very dangerous situation for several people, especially Berkley.

I was easily caught up in ‘Captivated by the Cougar’ and I’m loving this series. Steamy in all the right spots, suspenseful when needed, Berkley and Preston’s story is fast-paced, intense at times, and laugh-out-loud at others. I had a blast and I’m ready to move on to the next story in the series. If you love a good Paranormal or Shifter Romance then checking out this series should be on your to-do list.

Wolf shifter Berkley finds her mate Cougar shifter Preston but has been betrayed by a cat before.
Wolf shifter Berkley works with her brothers at resort they inherited from their grandfather. Cougar shifter Preston is the head of security for the resort and Berkley's mate but prior to moving to the resort her her her the boyfriend who was also a cougar had cheated on her which makes her wary of getting close to another cat. She is surprised when the woman with whom her ex had cheated on her turns up and knows she is likely to cause trouble and she does with complaints and trying to come on to Preston but she is prepared to go a lot further. A shifter romance to relax and enjoy.

This paranormal romance is fantastic – it moves along at a brisk pace; is a solid read that is quick, entertaining and pretty hot. It is well written, funny, witty, and exciting. The story flows so well that I was at the last page craving more. Wonderful characters, the chemistry between them is potent and intense. Quite a bit happened in this book including kidnapping and attempted murder. This story flows really well and is quite the enjoyable read. Preston and Berkeley

Berkeley had a past failed relationship with a cat shifter. She wanted nothing to do with cat shifters again. Preston is a cat shifter, and a good friend of her brother when they were in the military together. Her brother hired Preston to be head of security. When Berkeley and Preston meet they both realize that they are mates. Berkeley fights it all the way! Then there is suspense. Who is trying to kill Berkeley and why? You have to read the book and see what happens!

Berkley and Preston are fated mates but she doesn't trust men. Her brothers and her run a resort and hired Preston to be their head of security, that's how they meet. So now they have to get to know each other.
Maris is a guest who Berkley knows from college and she is part of why Berkley doesn't men. Why is she at the resort she hates Berkley.
This is a well developed adventure.

The second book in the Seneca Falls Shifters series by an Author I have not read before she is fairly new. I am going to get the first book in this series. Wolf shifter Berkley Reynolds and new head of security Preston Harker's story kept me turning pages a well-written book. A story of suspense, drama, danger, and a villain. When a piece of her past comes back to haunt her the intrigue begins. Can her family and her want to be mate keep her safe? This book beings the characters closer together and shows the benefit of family and friends.

Tricking Berkeley was the only way Maris could get anywhere near her. I'm glad the shooter chickened out and Preston got to his mate in time. I wish Berkeley had messed up Maris.

Shifters are the best, I love this book. It has everything you could possible want. A reluctant wolf shifter, an eager cougar shifter and a host of complications. This is an original story with captivating characters and is a must read. Another great story by Rayna Tyler.

Quirky with action

Action and suspense and HEA

Fast paced, romantic suspense and solid storyline. Great read on a cold weekend when curling up with a book! Highly recommend the series!
