The ending just didn't seem finished with the Infection. I did not know at first that the Killing Floor was a follow up book and I was glad that I actually had it to start reading after I finished The Infection. Other than that I enjoyed the book. I found myself taking my time while I read it because I did not want it to end.

An omnibus edition of DiLouie's two excellent apocalyptic thrillers that mix military action with gory horror, starting off with what appears to be a zombie uprising before morphing into something far worse and more terrifying. If you love military horror and/or apocalyptic fiction, you absolutely must grab a cop.

The Infection War Books 1 & 2 by Craig Dilouie is a very interesting read for a Zombie novel. I personally preferred the 1st book just a little more because its's more balance in terms of action and drama. Book 2 wasn't bad and is still a fun read.
