When I found the first book in this series free on amazon I read the blurb and downloaded it. I am on a bit of a fantasy kick at the moment and it sounded right up my alley. The series is a YA/NA urban fantasy. The books are full of so much emotion, I cried more than once over the course of them. It is easy to get swept away with the friendships, family that is built and with the love between the main characters. The characters are a group of mages with some really interesting powers. Ryanne's powers develop & evolve over throughout the books, she gets more kickass as it goes on. Ryanne feels like such a real person when you read about her, her emotions & reactions are so easy to relate to - she is easy to fall in love with. I really loved all the good & bad surprises that popped up, it was not easy to predict the outcome & i loved that. There is action & excitement in every book and parts of it had me on the edge of my seat. I would recommend the series (it took me less than 24 to read the four books & yes i did sleep at one point!). I will also read more by this author as I really liked her style of writing.
Read it......loved it!!! I love the last book in a series. You get closure from seeing the future of the characters. Wish it wasn't over though :(. I loved Ryanne and Colton!! Can't wait to see what the next book she writes is about! Definitely a lifelong fan!
This series is what I imagine ambrosia to taste like, you know unattainable to mere mortals, addictive, wonderful, magical with upper tones of spice and dashes of sweet, something that will burn going down but leave you begging for more, something so amazing that you will gladly except the fire just to have that silky dreamy feeling spread through your whole body, yes like that but so much more. Ryanne is my freaking hero not because she can be super bad ass but because she's real, like prone to mini melt downs like us normal people!! She's loves super hero's (who doesn't right) and the Big Bang Theory!!! Omg'sh right it's like taking a peek into your life minus the fact she's got more magic then she knows what to do with, but that's not going to stop her from trying, trying to stop a villain and his followers and protect the family of her heart. Colton I wanted to smack him upside the head or give him a stern talking to but Emma had my back on that one and then there is David who doesn't love extended brothers right!!! Then you have even more amazing characters like Liam, Larken, Tom, Aunt Claire and I can't leave out our beloved Logan, and there is many more wonderful characters whom Kaitlyn brings to life that for me lives in my heart and my mind. Every book but the last one will end in a CliffHanger but don't freak because all the books are available, you lucky, lucky readers!! Lol I had to wait and that was sooooo very hard to do with this series, I knew when each book would come out yet I checked every week like it would magically change.. {True Story} I am not going to give a single thing away because you all deserve to read this series!!! Let me say I love the characters in these books, each book makes you fall deeper and deeper, they end up taking up a beloved spot in your mind. (Except The bad guy ;) In the Prophesized Series Ryanne will teach you that this world is not always black and white and that sometimes the grey areas need love too, by the end of the series you will go from shock, happiness, grief, anger, pain, sadness and joy!! Or at least I did!! I never regretted buying this series and to date I have read each book a total of eight times, yep eight times I have gotten to read my beloved series. Ryanne and Colton, now there is a epic story!!! Each character has a story within this story each person has a voice that is heard throughout the entire series, they are not background noice. The Prophesized Series is about Ryanne changing from who she was, to who's she becoming to who she will one day be she grows with each book, she becomes more then Ryanne she turns into the flame, and so much more!! If you love paranormal romance then I highly recommend this series, Five Stars for sure. I was not paid or given a copy of this book for my review this pleasure was all my own doing!! Enjoy Laura
This is my favorite series! I have been addicted to it since the first book. I love all the romances and the storylines. I loved reading about Colton and Ryanne's wedding at the end, it was AMAZING!!!!! The whole series is just magical, reading about the pasts of the characters is very cool. I loved going back and being able to picture and imagine their stories or pasts.I liked the story of Liam's mom in Reaching Retribution. The battles and the problems they had to overcome in each book was great and i like how almost everyone found a family, a soulmate or love in the end and how the ones that have died got to move on and we got to see where they all went. I loved reading the visions Ryanne had.I like how she was able to do the things she needed to do and still be able to feel everything, fall in love, and grow with her new family, friends, and powers.I also liked how even though she was given these powers and her world got flipped upside down how strong she was all the time, i envy her for being so strong even though it was so hard and she had the weight of the world on her shoulders. The last thing is I loved the change of Adam and how he loved Ryanne, and wasn't a completely horrible guy.Thank you Kaitlyn Hoyt for writing such a great series with such wonderful characters, storylines, battles, and so on.You are my favorite author! <3
This is a review for all four of the books as I read them all one after another in a very close period of time. All the characters are so real. Ryanne's sense of humor is brilliant, especially with David. What a great group they all are. I loved these books so much and I'm so happy to find out there will be a 5th book in everyone's POV. I'm looking forard to Bragden and Larkins POVs, and also Liam too, everyone loves Liam right? I really recommend reading these books and I recommend reading Redeeming Lainey by Kaiylyn Holt even more. What a great author.
This was probably my favorite book in the series because it finally resolved the big conflict in the whole series. Throughout the series I thought the conflict and war was kind of avoided but the characters finally had to face it in this final book. I don't know how much I liked the ending or the ending of the war though. The reason why I didn't like it might have just been because it was the ending and I don't like it when it ends.
I give it a two stars because it should have been the 3rd and final book. not the 4th book. and the ending sucked. did I not get a chapter? she dies (again) and then the epilogue has her marrying colton. no explanation on how she.beat death. something about a new power mentioned but nothing else. I should change this to 1star. seriously. this series was a waste of time. TOO REPETITIVE!
Ryanne has had to fight every step of the wsy. Her small band of warriors have incredulity necessity and love. Colton is her soulmate and has had to witness her dying twice. Liam is her protector and has had to endure her disappearing before his eyes. Emma, David, Tom and the entire group would do anything to protect Then He from Dravin and the newest enemy that threatens her very existence.
Zahtre is a mage who has learned to harness and remove magic from others. With Ryanne's fathers help, he has done the inexplicable. He has experimented on humans, and animals, he and Gravin. Ryanne must stop him, even if it means sacrificing herself.
What happens will fill your heart with love, understanding and gratitude for a story worth reading again and again. I wasn't thrilled with the story at first, but had to continue reading. I am glad this series has become a permanent part of my library. I love this series, the char and what it represents.
Read on my friends. You will enjoy it as much as I did.
I have found myself losing interest in these characters with each addition to the series. As some reviewers have mentioned, it is definitely hard at times to figure out who is speaking due to some significant grammatical errors. I fell in love with Liam but could not care less about Colton, whom I found not to be a strong male lead character. Also I think the author used the word "soulmate" no less than 100 times in the book. I mean, we get it already...I began to not care if any of the characters died, and barely had enough interest to power through till the end, which in itself was a super confusing way to conclude the story. I know that there is a 5th book already released but I will definitely not be reading it.
I loved this book, it was amazing! All the books in this series were great especially this book. It made me laugh, cry and just smile. It left me captivated with its own magic until the end.
Spoilers: I loved the fight between Zahtri(Aka Ezra which I knew had something to do with the story because no information is every useless in a story line it always has a greater purpose or clue)and Ryanne. The author made it realistic, rather than just make Ryanne win instantaneously. No, she made her struggle from the beginning to the end, to keep falling and falling and finally getting back to kick some freaking devil's ass. Although the fight was epic, sadly there were losses such as Jedrek, (which was bound to happen since Dravin died and their lives were bounded) Vincent and Kyril. In the end they died heroically and even in death they encouraged Ryanne and pushed her to have strength and to believe. A family and friends like that shows to prove are everything. The author also showed us that people like Adam deserve a second chance because although he seemed like a pathetic disgusting monster, he was just in love. SURPRISE SURPRISE!!! Colton didn't like that, but it shows that people can change. Even though he did cruel things, he still proved himself to be good at heart and the end of his life. He finally put some meaning into what it means to have a life. The ending was absolutely touching, when Ryanne died again, the author made a brilliant decision of switching from an obvious moment of what was going to happen to the decision of a lifetime. Mrs. Ryanne Wagner has finally happened!!! They had a wedding of course, Emma and David already married and of course everyone was there. The vows that were traded were to symbolize both them overcoming and growing to love and cherish each other like every married couple. Instead of having a fast-paced relationship they had a real one, from laughter, to love and to sadness and death they faced everything and thats what it means to be in love. This book showed that it takes courage to stand up to yourself for believing in your insecurities and standing up to others by fighting physically, emotionally and verbally. It also tells us that these types of family and friends lasts more than one lifetime and that's what friendship is. Most of all, true love stands the test of time through obstacles, and even beyond death. Thank you Kaitlyn Hoyt, for making what I truly think is the best series EVER! I will never forget it and will continue to read your books in hope for more adventure like this one!!! :)

I have no clue how this book has a higher rating than the others in the series. The first quarter of it was normal, but then it just felt like the author was trying to extend it to fill up more pages. The last fight scene was so long in the worst way. This one part the bad guy had a dagger out, and was in the right position to kill the main character, his enemy, and he just through the dagger away and was like, "Let's do it your was for no apparent reason. Even though I want to win I want to give you a chance." I mean seriously, it was a life and death situation. When I said the last scene was long, I meant that it never ended, and when it finally did I went to the epilogue, thinking that at least everything will be wrapped up now. But, no, it wasn't. I was waiting for a flashback to how the main character survived, but it was just expected that she had enough power which miraculously brought her back to life.
At the beginning of the book she was training, and all of a sudden she develops basically every power she needs. It wasn't well developed, just expecting the reader to think this is one of the quirks of her magic. Then the new villain of the book was someone from Liam's past. This made it feel disconnected from the previous books.
Every book in the series follows the same plot. Train, fight, help people, get captured, get rescued. But in the other books, the author made it seem interesting and new, even though it was just repeated from the previous books. This time so many things were repeated, that I thought it was the same scene just reworded differently. Not to mention the premise of the books aren't well constructed.
Overall, this series has been a nice read. Not amazing, just meh. There were good things in this book, but they were overshadowed by the repetitiveness. The first and second book were my favourite, but after that the series just went downhill.
I took my time finishing this series. I didn't want it to end :( The characters and the story had me there with them. If you want to read a book that keeps you wanting to read it until the end then this is a series for you. Ryanne the insecure, lonely and bullied girl is going to find out she will kick some major Gadramicks butts and find her soul mate.
OKAY WHAT JUST HAPPENED. I DEMAND AN EXPLANATION THOUGH I REALLY LOVE THIS BOOKS. IT'S PAGE TURNING AND AWE INSPIRING TO BE BRAVE...NOT SELFLESS. BECAUSE.. HEY RYANNE SPENDS A LOT OF TIME WITH PAIN. but../ i loaf her. and colton and the other couples. that when i first look. oyeah. james. do your thing!
The first 2 books in the series were solid. Halfway through the third book I found myself thinking - oh come on she can't be that good at EVERYTHING. Props to Ms. Hoyt for self-publishing books while in college, but her age definitely shows by the end of the series.
Books 1 & 2 qualify for a reread. Books 3 & 4 - nope!
The final book in the series. It is good, but after the huge struggle to overcome the Gadramicks, the ending feels like it is missing something. Ryanne and Colton get their dream, but they are kind of young. What about college or making a life? And maybe it is just a let down that the advent is over.
I am satisfied with the ending! Such an awesome conclusion that ties up loose ends and sets things straight (though, Claire's cryptic response wasn't explained). I started to feel like the fight just kept dragging (hey, I was eager to know the outcome so I was impatient)but I did not skip to the end. So worth it!!
I have loved all of this series and when the next book comes out I will definitely be one of the first to buy it. I love how all the books link together really well and how in each book you get the story from a different characters perspective. Can' wait to see what will happen in the next book. :)
3.5 stars. Good finish to the series. I didn't give it more stars because found the second half of the book repetitive. You had people fight, get hurt, get healed and then repeat. I honestly got a bit bored. Things seemed to come together again at the very end.
Not a fan of the ending, there is a ton missing, would have been nice to hear the thoughts of the main characters involved. The wedding felt forced like the author was sick of the story, and wanted it over

I love this series, it never left me bored. there were moments were I was laughing and times were I nearly cried, in this final book I found that every thing was wrapped up i stayed up till 4 am reading the last book. i recommend this book to people who love a bit of magic and adventure.
I was really disappointed with this book. I thought it was really repetitive and in each book there was always a death and come back to life moment. I thought this story could've ended in the last book. Also, there was no explanation on how she comes back to life... once again.
