The Educated Heart is a must-read for every bodywork professional. Nina McIntosh clearly lays out a practical approach to ethical behavior in the therapeutic relationship, covering everything from money, to framework, to dual relationships. I first read this book in 2008, early in my own practice. I am glad that I reread it after having more experience under my belt. Maintaining a strong and healthy framework is essential for a successful practice, and this book has helped me see ways I can improve the framework in of own practice. I highly recommend it.
