Off the Bench: Stories of God, Grief and Gardening

Rate this book
An amusing and inspiring collection of short stories and flash fiction which you can read during your coffee break ! Life is hard, sometimes it's difficult, but there is always, always hope.

Note by the Author:
Death happens to us all, it's unavoidable, part of nature. That's what I always told myself and then it happened. When you lose someone close to you it can be difficult to process all the emotions running amok through your mind, let alone find a mechanism to express them. I hope that this small selection of flash fiction will make you chuckle, ponder, cry, smile and help you as writing them helped me. Some of them are about death, some of them are about life, sometimes it's the same thing.

Enjoyed reading this book...

This is a wonderful collection of short stories. I definitely recommend getting the book because it makes you happy and may make you smile - it did me. You don't have to invest a lot of time because the stories are short and you can easily find the time to read one. Very good writing and really good endings.

A strange thing is, after reading the last story, I wished that it was just the beginning of a long book because I immediately liked the two characters and the writing is top notch.
