Richard Douglas Harries, Baron Harries of Pentregarth (1936–2026), was a bishop of the Church of England and a British Army officer. He was the Bishop of Oxford from 1987 to 2006. From 2008 until 2012 he was the Gresham Professor of Divinity.

This was a nice way to spend the Advent season. Looking at works of art and reading connected writings within the text of a book.

An armchair trip to the National Gallery with an Oxford Bishop. Art from some other places is also included. Nice company :-)
