Serenity Falls

My Thoughts
When I started reading this book, my first thoughts were ‘Oh No, another story that has been done to death’ but lo’ and behold by the time I got about 40% in I was intrigued. It broke out of the common NA mold and the plot started with a few twists and turns. It held my attention and I found myself rooting for Kenleigh and Wes. How can you go wrong with a bull rider? Hot, steamy fall in love with the All American Cowboy!

Serenity Falls completely astounded me, because in some way is like every other new adult romance story I’ve read, but still has a hint of individuality that I really appreciated. As much confused as I was, this book did a great number on me, and I can honestly write that I really enjoyed reading it. A cute, simple, and quick story with the most delicious man I'd love to have for myself, Serenity Falls is 3.5 star read.
Serenity falls is fun, romantic, not to angsty read.
This story follows Kenleigh, nineteen year old orphan who lost her parents, seven years ago in fire. Now, after finishing her second year in college, she comes back on a ranch, were she worked with horses and children as a volunteer. This year, while helping Mr. and Mrs. Adams on ranch, she finally meets their son, Wes. Wes is twenty five year old professional bull rider. Long story short, they fall for each other. But as you can guess, nothing is as easy as Kenleigh thinks.
Serenity Falls is sweet read, but the twist at the end added a little something. Although some characters need pimping, I could easily connect to them. Plot while still being very simple, was enough to get me hooked and not stopping to read.
To sum it up, Serenity Falls had few clichés that made me grit my teeth. I guess, nowadays it really is hard to find new awesome ideas, that will knock my socks off. And, yet this sweet ‘country’ type book was a good quick read that held my attention without gutting me.

Serenity Falls is a well written new adult romance novel written by Tiffany Aleman and Ashley Poch, the plot and characters are well developed, and the story flows extremely well this is one of those novels you have a hard time putting down. I have to say the writing and the descriptions make me want to go to visit Texas and find myself a cowboy.
We first meet Kenleigh who is a young college student who has suffered great loss in her life. Kenleigh’s aunt hears about a program that involves horses as a type of therapy and Kenleigh thrives in this environment. Now in college she spends her summers in Serenity Falls working as a summer counsellor helping other children work with horses as a type of therapy. Kenleigh loves returning to the place that made her worthy of living again.
Wes who is the owner’s son returns home to spend time with his parents and finally gets to meet the girl his parents talk about, they seem to care about Kenleigh as if she is family. Wes who is dealing with his own issues right now knows the best place for him to be is with his parents and the horses. Kenleigh and Wes are instantly attracted to each other and the friendship and romance blossoms from here. Wes being a bull-rider is what you would call an extremely sexy, hot alpha male and Kenleigh is very attracted to him and Wes feels the same way about her.
Serenity Falls is truly a well written new adult romance novel; it has everything you want, great chemistry, sexy hot alpha male and some well written love scenes. I have rated Serenity Falls a 4 star rating and would definitely read anything Tiffany Aleman and Ashley Poch write in the near future. So if you like me a love to read romance novels this is one you should try.

"You know it’s hard enough for [the disabled kids] with all of their own special needs, but even the ones who know they aren’t going to live forget about that when they’re here, and it’s all because of that girl."
Did you hear that? We have a special snowflake alert. This heroine is so perfect she makes disabled kids forget their difficulties and it's all because of her!
To be honest, I don't know if I should be offended by this. I am, so well, I'll be that. At first, it didn't bother me, but that's what this book is about (apart from the romance). We have Kenleigh, who is traumatized by the fire that caused the death of her parents when she was younger. Going into depression, her aunt sent her to a farm where disabled people could be around horses. (There's probably a name for these types of places, but I can't recall it as I'm writing this review). She gets over her depression, and now, years later, we see her return to the place where she got better. Of course, now there's the handsome bull rider, Wes, the son of the owners', who immediately sports an interest for Kenleigh, and she for him.
Serenity Falls is a light read most of the time. I appreciated that, truly did. Kenleigh has for the most part worked through her depression (but I'll get back this as I'm not appreciating the way that was portrayed), and is now a rather mature woman. She doesn't take shit from others and stands up for herself. Okay, that is relative. She is very... let's say stereotypical Southern or traditional, whatever you want to call it. She cooks, the man works, if you know what I mean. And that's fine, not my own style perhaps, but if that's what you want, Good for You, do what's right for you! On the other hand, that also means she slutshames (typical New Adult).
In general, Serenity Falls was okay. Nothing extravagant, nothing that stood out plotwise. A bit Nicholas Sparks over the plot. On a good day, I'd give that type of story a solid three. There was, however, one key element that bothered me, personally. How depression was portrayed. This is a difficult topic, one that needs to be dealt with care. Depression is an individual experience in terms of symptoms. One general thing can be said for it though. That is that depression is not grief, sadness, anger, or bitterness. (At least that's what I've learned from my own personal experiences and stories from others who have been through depression.) That's how both Kenleigh's depression as well as one of the kid's on the farm is portrayed. Kenleigh's approach is... strange, for me. At one point, she feels the need to expose her past (read: depression) to Wes for him to understand her. However, when she tells him the story, her main (and only) focus is on how others treated her and felt. Barely any mention about how the depression affected her or how she felt during it. This is quite strange, to me. Depression is a big part of someone's life regardless of if it's in the present or past. Depression leaves a big impression on the person. It's not just some "fling" that is worked through in a few weeks. It takes major work to battle it. The fact that Kenleigh dismisses medication was one of the big problems. I felt that the part where one struggles to overcome or handle his or hers depression was played off with little consideration to how difficult it is in reality.
This became even clearer when the kid, Bailey, comes into the picture. She has lost her brother in a car accident, and it is stated that she is diagnosed with depression. The word depression is thrown around more than a football. It is more than clear that what Bailey suffers from is not depression, but grief. She is showing major improvements after a few days! She is enthusiastic (well, maybe not quite, but close to), hopeful, sad, happy... a wide variety of emotions. Most importantly: grief. So yes, the portrayal of depression didn't sit well with me. I am sick of books (both New Adult and other genres) is using this illness like it's a fashion trend that can be dismissed in a week or month. Hence, the lower rating.
(Sorry for long rant, but depression is a touchy topic for me when not done well or with sensitivity.)

Have you ever tasted Mexican chocolate? It is sweet, with just a bit of spice to it. That is EXACTLY what Serenity Falls is like. This book really just hit the spot for me as it was incredibly well balanced between the sweetness of a new, developing emotional relationship, and the heat and passion of a sexual relationship.
Kenleigh is a nineteen-year-old soon to be college sophomore who is still dealing with the aftermath of a family tragedy, seven years after it happened. She has a strong sense of survivor’s guilt and has shut people out for years. She has a personality though, that people just gravitate towards and they want to get to know her and open up to her. After years of dealing with depression, her legal guardian, her aunt Brenda, gets her involved in a program working with therapy horses. It is there she finds a connection with the horses and a way to heal and to begin to develop meaningful relationships with others. Now that she is in college, she is heading to Serenity Falls to spend her second summer as a counselor at a horse camp that works with children with emotional and physical disabilities.
Wes is a bull-rider in his mid-20s, coming back to the family farm after dealing with his own demons by way of alcohol abuse. He’s led a nearly rock star existence, but seeing a close friend’s near-death experience and a short stint in the poky lead him to think twice of his destructive ways. He heads home to help out with the summer camp his parents operate, waiting to meet Kenleigh, whom his mother has told him so much about.
Serenity Falls could have easily been a very predictable New Adult romance, however it wasn’t. There were several plot twists that I thought I saw coming, but thankfully, the authors steered it in a completely different direction. It wasn’t until the last 10% of the book or so that the major dramatic element was introduced and boy did it hit you like a truck! At that point I was so sucked in that I didn’t want to put it down because it had me so charged with emotion I just had to know what was going to happen!
One of the most amazing things about this book is Ms. Aleman and Ms. Poch’s use of descriptive language. They literally engage all of your sense when it comes to describing what is going on in the story. I’ve been lucky enough to have spent a couple of summers in Texas so when they talk about the scent of honeysuckle in the evening breeze, I know exactly what they are talking about and I am taken to that place. Even a scene describing a bowl of chili with its peppers and spices put me IN the scene. Their way of storytelling is VERY effective!
Now, back to that sweet and spicy….oh, Wes. He is a swoon-worthy alpha male if there ever was one! Of course, as an alpha male he has the requisite ripped body and masculine good looks, but he is also incredibly sweet, and thoughtful. He truly is the best of both worlds, especially when it comes to the love scenes. Yowza, they’re HOT. Just the way he commands the situation is such an incredible turn on, yet so unlike how he is outside of the bedroom. He’s definitely a hearts and flowers kind of guy, but then he turns around, and behind closed doors he has this:
“And just so you now, not tonight, but eventually, I’m going to bend you and break you and mold you in so many ways that you will not be able to tell me where I begin and you end.” Wes thrusts forward as he fills me to the hilt, and I gasp from the intrusion. “But tonight, we’re going to do this nice and slow.”
I mean, really…oh my! Where do I sign up?

I loved Wes, and I decided I want my own Wes, "the next time you wanna poke my chest, just ask. I don't hold reservations about pretty women touching me." Kenleigh appreciates Wes's ink, "well, I think they make you look effing sexy as hell." A deep growl rumbles up from the back of his throat when I graze the tips of my fingers across his ink." Wes he likes to make his ego bigger during certain acts, but he also knows how to make his woman feel real good, "that's right, baby. I'm the one who does this to you. Only me. It will only ever be me," he whispers against my ear as he grinds against me harder." It's good to set ground rules before starting a relationship, "me too. But you should know, if we do this, I do not share, and you will be mine. All of you. Every. Last. Inch. I will intoxicate you, and I'll promise you this, you'll love every effing second of it. You'll beg for it - beg for me." You can tell how badly this man has it for his woman, "Wes squeezes my a** and groans. "And, there's my woman." He's appreciate of Kenleigh's looks but he doesn't like the whole world knowing how gorgeous his girl is, "baby, you have to change those shorts." Wes groans from behind me. I look back at him over my shoulder to ask why. "Because your a** looks too good, and I really don't feel like getting in a fight tonight." I hope this book is a start of a series because there are other characters in the book I would love to see get their own story.

I read the sample of this book yesterday, loved it, purchased it (even though I have over 1,000 books on my kindle), and stayed up until almost 4am to finish it...I knew from the sample that I would like it, I just didn't expect to LOVE it as much as I did.
I love a standalone book, no cliff hangers, and a HEA, low on the angst scale, NO CHEATING, and a likeable heroine. This book had it all! I REALLY like some steam to my romance novels too and Serenity Falls had steam and then some...Wes put the SEX in sexy...holy cowboy! As for Kenleigh, I just loved her...probably one of my favorite heroine's I have read in a long time. But Wes and Kenleigh together were just explosive...you could feel their connection coming off the pages to you...I loved that! And their sex scenes were OMG HOT! I loved the way Wes loved Kenleigh and made her feel special...I would go as far to say that he was swoon worthy and rarely have I been swooned since Kellan Kyle. This was a solid story with an amazing storyline and awesome secondary characters as well. I don't want to give away any spoilers, so I will just say...READ THIS BOOK! NOW!
This is the first book I have read by Tiffany Aleman, but it won't be my last. In fact, I am embarrassed to say I have had her first book "Look of Love" on my kindle since May...sorry Tiffany...it just got bumped to the front of my TBR list.

3.5 hearts!
Yeah for a book that is the perfect cure for a serious book hangover! A simple story of loss, healing and the power of friendships, love and family. Tiffany and Ashley make an amazing writing pair, you never feel like the story is disjointed or following the flow through each beautifully written word. Their stories are of real people and to some degree true life scenarios, not so far off from believable.
With "Serenity Falls," we meet Kenleigh. At the young age of 12, she had to watch her parents die in a tragic house fire. Her aunt raised her and as a way of healing, forced her to attend horseback riding classes. The bond she developed with the horses has stuck with her as we fast forward seven years later and Kenleigh is in the summer after her freshman year of college.

I don't think I have read a book before that is written by 2 authors, what a treat!!! This is a wonderful story of loss, friendship, compassion and love..yeah I know just about everything!!! This isn't a typical romance story filled with angst and fights and break ups and make ups. The actual tension does not come until about 98% into the book, and then it is resolved so quickly. This kind of annoyed me at first, and I sat on it for a few days, and then realised that it was most probably done on purpose, because the drama and breakup with such a small part of Wes and Kenleigh's journey. I can imagine them in 50 years time, sitting on their ranch and laughing about the situation with their kids and grandkids running around. When I came to this conclusion, I realised that it made this book so much more special, because it really was an epic love story. And in all love stories there are ups and downs, but that doesn't define the relationships, these are just small bumps in the road that people work through and deal with, just like everyone else.
Kenleigh was such a beautiful character, she has so much spunk and character, and had really made an amazing life for herself, and overcome the issues that she faced when her parents died. Now she spends her free time from uni working at a horse ranch that helps kids who were in the same situation that she was in years ago. I love the way people describe her in the book, saying that she brings light into peoples lives, I could really feel that from Kenleigh. The last thing she expects to do is find her 'one' while volunteering at Serenity Falls, but she does just that!. Wes is home for the first time in 3 summers at his mums request, and when she meets him there is an instant connection. What I love the most about this is that there wasn't instant love, there was instant friendship. And the more time they spend with each other, and learned about each other lead to love. I love that Kenleigh was not superficial, she didn't believe what others said about Wes. She didn't fly off the handle and abandon their friendship and relationship when she discovered things about his past. She....like an adult talked to him about what she had been told, and gave him a chance to explain, and understood that everyone does things they regret but people can change!!!
Wes, is the epitome of hot cowboy in my book..... He is muscley, has tats, is a bull rider.... I don't do this very often, but I had a clear picture in my head of what Wes looked like when I was reading the book and this is it.....

He knows that she is the one for him, and he throws himself head first into convincing Kenleigh that she is the one for him.
What a lovely book, I love reading things that are unique and that don't follow the same formula as other romance novels. I really believe that Tiffany Aleman and Ashley Poch have delivered a book about a true romance, not a Hollywood romance, but really touched on what is important in relationships. A fab read! Pick it up if you want to read something original and a beautiful love story.

Kenleigh was such a beautiful character, she has so much spunk and character, and had really made an amazing life for herself, and overcome the issues that she faced when her parents died. Now she spends her free time from uni working at a horse ranch that helps kids who were in the same situation that she was in years ago. I love the way people describe her in the book, saying that she brings light into peoples lives, I could really feel that from Kenleigh. The last thing she expects to do is find her 'one' while volunteering at Serenity Falls, but she does just that!. Wes is home for the first time in 3 summers at his mums request, and when she meets him there is an instant connection. Kenleigh is left to live with her aunt. In attempts to pull Kenleigh out of her deep state of depression she enrolls her in riding lessons. Kenleigh finds her passion in the horses and slowly learns to love life without her parents. This also leads Kenleigh to a horse farm that holds a camp each summer for kids who are living through tragedy just like she did. Like she is.
Wes...Oh Wes! He is a sexy bull rider who has women falling at his feet. Taking a break from the tour, Wes heads home to the family farm to help his parents out for the summer. Wes's mom has spoken to him often about the sweet girl named Kenleigh. Wes was looking froward to meeting her in person. What he didn't expect was to fall head over bull for her.

Tragedy affects each person differently. None of us is the same but I think I would have been extremely depressed, like Kenleigh, if my parents had been killed at the age of 12. Kenleigh was so depressed in order to bring her back to "life" her Aunt, now guardian, put Kenleigh in a program working with horses. Kenleigh was a natural.
During her college years she volunteered at a similar horse farm that had a summer day camp for children with similar issues to Kenleigh's. She returned during the summer after her sophomore year to Serenity Falls and there she met Wesley (Wes.) Wes is the owners son and they were assigned to work together to break in a new horse for the summer as well as Kenleigh's duties with the camp kids. Neither were looking for a relationship but they couldn't look past their magnetic attraction to one another.
Wes, being the hometown boy, handsome, and semi-famous bull rider had lots of female admirers. Two who tried their hardest to make waves with him and Kenleigh. The two just needed to decide whether they cared more about each other or what his past brought to the table.
I thought this book was so sweet. It's an easy flowing story with great characters. There could be some more added details, but even without this story was a great read. I recommend you pick up a copy today!!!

I love this story. It is not simply a love story, but a story of letting go, moving forward, friendship and losing yourself in love and the trust that comes with it. I absolutely loved this book and did not want it to end!! I couldn't put this book down (you can ask my husband, I thought he was going to take my kindle away, lol) I loved Kenleigh and Wes!! You def need to read this book...then you will want your own Wes :) Although I was a little worried there near the end this book did have a HEA. The only thing I can complain about is that this book didn't have a epilogue (only bc I love epilogues) but that doesn't affect my rating of this book!! I will def recommend it to my other book buddies :) I loved all the secondary characters and I can't wait for the next book on Brantley and Jackie!! Hoping I will hear more from Kenleigh and Wes in their book (hint hint) What are you waiting for, go and get this book, you def won't regret it!!! Great job Tiffany Aleman and Ashley Poch, I will be looking for more of your books :)

It's a great story about letting go and trying to recover what you can of yourself after suffering a great lost!
Kenliegh ~ She's mature for her age but at the same time she is somewhat naïve to a point. She falls quick fast and in a hurry for Wes, over a short amount of time. I do believe she was a little to trusting and forgiving when it came to friendships!
Wes ~ I'm not sure if he actually liked/loved Kenliegh or not or if he was just infatuated with the image his mom painted for him. In the end he reacted somewhat childish when she turned him down not even letting her talk or explain as to why!
Overall its a good story and great characters!

More Please! Every once in a while I need a great romance read with no extreme drama.. That's exactly what I got from this book!! I can't believe how many times my kindle would suggest this book and I never sampled it. Today I said ok let me see what this book is like and I'm sooooo glad I did!! Holy. Hot. Cowboys. I LOVED Serenity Falls, so much so that I stayed up way to late at night to finish it, and then struggled to go to sleep afterwards due to the enormous smile that was plastered onto my mouth. You like your romance scorching? Then Serenity Falls is exactly what you need. If you like you books sweet, and romantic and swoon worthy and…well, you get it I’m sure, then there is no better option for you than Serenity Falls.
Kenleigh (love her name by the way) has not had a life you’d want. After dealing with the loss of her parents at such a young age, she took years to recover…still was, but not so much in the way you’d think. The one solace she’s found in life now is horses. Riding them. Training them. Loving them. For the second year in a row, she’s come back to Serenity Falls ranch and takes on a job with helping children who’ve suffered losses, or are sick in order to help in the healing process. But what she didn’t count on this summer, was Wes, the owners sexy as sin, bull riding son.
Let me take a moment of silence to honor Wes. The sweet talking, hopelessly romantic Wes. The man of every girls fantasies…including my own.
Okay, so Wes comes into Kenleigh’s life and takes her by storm, making it known from the get go that he wants her. And in all his woo-filled ways, he eventually gets her to agree that the two of them together, just make sense. But Wes comes with a few secrets and no matter how hot, or swoony, or utterly crazy in sane with lust he makes her feel, Kenleigh’s not one hundred percent convinced he’s her Mr. Right. But she has no qualms in making him her Mr. Right Now. But with a summer ahead of them, who knows what kind of things could come their way…
Loved Kenleigh. She’s not the stereotypical, broken girl who can’t open her heart up for possibilities. She’s the kind of girl who goes with the moment, knowing it can end at any time. She’s brave, she’s sweet, and she made me believe in her story. Made me feel for her and fall in love with her…ALMOST as much as I fell head over heels for Wes. Yummy Wes. *sigh* If there ever was a fictional man that made me believe in love, then it’s this one. He is so open, giving, and never have I read about a guy that loves as hard as he does.
Thank you Ms. Aleman and Ms. Poch, for giving me this man. For not making him overly broody, and for not giving him too much of a broken past. Loved him. Want one for myself. Oh, and I would definitely not be opposed if you wrote a book from his point of view.
I don’t have enough descriptive words in my lacking vocabulary to tell you how much I adored Serenity Falls. Just know that it’s a book you don’t want to miss out on any time soon. Delicious hero, adorable heroine, and a fresh story line that kept me glued to the pages from beginning to end. I highly, highly, HIGHLY, recommend this new adult novel to fans who love a little bit of angst, a whole lot of emotion, and yeah, scorching hot, pantie-combusting sexy times. Serenity Falls has definitely skyrocketed up my list of favorites. :)

The book started off pretty good right away. You meet Kenleigh who at a very young age had her parents taken from her in a tragic fire.
“I am twelve years old and just watched my parents die.”
She ends up living with her only relative left, her aunt. Kenleigh falls into deep depression from the fire and blames herself for losing her parents. After her aunt takes her to a horse farm, she learns how to fight her way back from the depression and start to live life again.
Book jumps years ahead and now Kenleigh just finishes her 1st year of college and is off to work at Serenity Falls for the summer. It is a place where they hold a kids camp for children who have suffered or are suffering mental or physical illnesses.
“These thirty acres of land in the middle of the Texan hill country have become a second home to me- my little piece of Heaven. I came here last summer as a volunteer to help disabled children.”
After getting settled in she meets Wes. Wesley is the son of the owners of the ranch and also one HOT professional bull rider. They are drawn to each other right away and this is when the story gets extremely steamy and yummy! Wes is determined to show Kenleigh how to open her heart and let him in.
“I know what you’re thinking, but you’re wrong. I’m not that guy who, when the summer is over, will just up and walk away. If there’s one thing you will learn about me, I’m a very persistent man. I wasn’t raised to be a quitter.”
The chemistry between the two was off the charts HOT!! Wes showed Kenleigh just how special she is. Both of them have experienced love and loss and together they learned how to let go and love again! They are two broken souls that together become one that is complete. Both of them have dark pasts that they are trying to leave behind.
“Let me take you on the ride of your life. I don’t know what will happen at the end of the summer. Nobody does. But I can promise you this, our ride will last longer than eight seconds, and I’ll be the one hanging on for dear life.”

If you are looking for a book that will inspire you and make you believe in true love and romance than this is the book to read!

I really loved the premise of Serenity Falls – a young woman who suffered from depression ‘paying it forward’ through working at a summer camp for challenged kids. Kenleigh Briggs lost her parents in a house fire at the age of 12 and subsequently fell into depression. At the insistence of her Aunt she started riding horses and developed a deep and healing bond with the animals. Move forward seven years and she is spending her second summer at Serenity Falls, working with the kids attending summer camp there.
The key difference for Kenleigh this summer though, is Wes Adams, son of Serenity Falls owners Sandy and Will Adams. Wes is a very talented, although somewhat troubled, bull rider and Kenleigh absolutely catches his eye.
Things move quite quickly between the pair. In part, Wes feels a connection to Kenleigh because his mother has been describing her to him for the better part of a year. For Kenleigh, I think it was a bit of a mix of lust (let’s face it, Wes is hot!) and something a little deeper.
The story played out rather predictably, although the ‘drama’ between Wes and Kenleigh really quite surprised me. It happened quite late in the story and it felt a little contrived – almost drama for drama sake. Given the connection that had been developed between Wes and Kenleigh I thought some of their actions were a little unrealistic, almost extreme and I did wonder if they would recover from them. I would have been happy for the story to roll on without the drama to be honest – it would have been a totally sweet, feel good romance without it that I would have been happy with.
Having said all of that, I did enjoy Serenity Falls. It was an easy read, with good characters and it provided a really nice distraction from life for a while.

I would have been happy for the story to roll on without the drama to be honest – it would have been a totally sweet, feel good romance without it that I would have been happy with.
Having said all of that, I did enjoy Serenity Falls. It was an easy read, with good characters and it provided a really nice distraction from life for a while.

Oh my goodness. This was such a great steamy read. Definitely something I needed. It had a country vibe with some hot scenes. Yet, there was still substance within the pages. Aleman and Poch definitely know how to create characters because they created two amazing main characters within Serenity Falls, Kenleigh and Wes.
Kenleigh has gone through a lot in her life even though she’s only nineteen/twenty. I was able to relate really easily with Kenleigh considering the fact that we both had to deal with major losses and we both had the struggle and learned to find ourselves again. I really loved that I was able to connect with Kenleigh in that aspect. I really loved her as a character and would love to read more about her.
Wes has also gone through some issues, but what made me love him so much. Was the fact that he was not only complicated but a hot, hot, hot cowboy. Mmm Mmm Mmmmmm. I love anything country. And that includes men. :] I really enjoyed seeing the change that you see in Wes throughout the book. He has his ups and downs but in the end, he’s perfect for Kenleigh.
As for the romance within Serenity Falls. I was definitely not expecting some sex scenes, but so glad I got them! It was nice reading those without it being censored since it’s in the New Adult genre. It reminded me (at times) of Fifty Shades of Grey. But I liked the fact that it wasn’t so S&M. I mean there are teensy tiny parts of Wes that have a dominating side, but that just adds to his hotness. But in no way was he anything like Christian Grey. He was so much BETTER!
If you are into romance and/or country themed books, definitely check this one out! You won’t be disappointed!

I really enjoyed reading this book! Serenity Falls was a book that you can get lost in for a little while. I loved the heroine Kenleigh. She was a feisty, didn’t take anything from anyone kind of gal. Life had thrown her for a loop and she struggled for a bit to find herself but with the help of Operation Love she was able to find herself out of the dark and help kids at the same time. Our male lead is Wes who happens to be the ranch owner’s son and also had a rough past with drinking and partying it up. He also happens to be a bit of a cowboy but not just any cowboy, a professional bull riding cowboy. The love between the two main characters grows and isn’t rushed, you get to see them form a bond and help each other heal a little bit more. The story itself is isn’t too heavy with drama and it was a nice change from the colossal drama feuds that happen in other books. I would recommend this book for a nice rainy day when you don’t want too much fuss and fight but enough love to keep you warm.
