Another lovely book from Rachel Allen. I love her chatty style and she really makes you feel like you are in safe hands. I have found loads of new recipes I want to try and the photographs really make you want to go and bake immediately.

I have done a lot of baking over the last few Bank Holiday weekends and over Easter! For sweet treats, I almost always turn to Rachel Allen for inspiration.

Her recipes are practically fool proof, once you have an interest in baking and some idea what you are doing! While I would turn to her book, Bake more, this one is brilliant if you are looking for something a little special! I adore the Cheesecake Chocolate Brownies and am promising myself I will attempt a Baked Alaska at some point this year!

Great for everyday tea cakes, birthday and occasion cakes. A lovely addition to any recipe shelf.
