A wonderful handbook! Some chapters were very focused on notation and how to write music, which isn't exactly what I was after, but the theory is well explained and easy to follow. It has many useful exercises at the end of every chapter and many further readings in the footnotes.

Glad read. Wouldn’t re-read or revisit.

Fairly introductory.
Had a lot on the physics of music which was unexpected but great.
