Rate this book

Gardening is an extremely therapeutic and rewarding pursuit. Traditionally it demands a lot of time and energy - and plenty of outside room. Even though the area available to the average gardener grows even smaller, it is still possible to create stylish effects and produce an impression of length and space in an infinite variety of ways. With the additional use of containers, a hugely versatile form of gardening, you can extend the scope of your garden and make the most of even the smallest patch of ground.

Featuring more than 1400 evocative photographs, clear advice, and inspirational projects with step-by-step instruction, Small & Container Gardening is a comprehensive guide for anyone wishing to transform even the smallest corner with flair and confidence.

There was little information about container vegetable gardening, as I was looking for, but still very helpful in learning more about gardening, caring for plants, and making attractive and practical plant groupings.

This was okay. It seemed unduly focused on liners for containers, and, unfortunately, didn't answer the question I was looking for. But if you'd like to build your own patio from the ground up, this could be the book for you.
