Just OK for me but I've been reading about and dabbling with this for a few years now. I would however, recommend it for beginners. Day trading is a full-time job and I have one of those. Therefore, my horizon is out a little longer making me more of a swing trader.

I found the red dot on the book cover humorous. It says, "Anyone can day trade!" I agree but anyone can but the key is to do it profitably.

I love forecasting and prediction, so I've got all my spreadsheets set up and I'm ready to give it a go. Maybe in a few years, I'll be able to change my profile location to some place tropical.

So so... would only recommend to someone who hasn’t been exposed to trading and thinks it’s an easy pick up and go job; the author correctly states that it’s much more than that and does require time, experience, and education/knowledge. Just was a little pessimistic for someone that’s already been trading and looking to advance/progress techniques and knowledge.

I’m not an experienced day trader so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

I feel like this book is very informative but the technical jargon is difficult to follow if you’re newer to trading. I felt like the stories and advice that was explained was pretty beneficial as far as actual mindset and what to look for.

If you’re newer to trading and looking for technical advice I would find something with a little more detailed information but again, it could be that I’m just newer and not gonna pick up on it either way. At least not without more knowledge and studying.

Its okay.. good for beginners but the technical words used needs to be better explained so the readers can have a better grasp of it. I wouldn’t recommend this book for those who are already trading and looking to expand their knowledge. I remember reading this when I was just learning the ropes and found it to be helpful, but I haven’t opened it since to go back and read it as a refresher as most of the topics covered are mainly for building trading knowledge foundation..

What it really is : Entry level book only for the Americans dumbed down to a point that a topic like "Day Trading on a Laptop" is included

Spends 2/3rds of the book reminding you over and over again to do your homework and use the tools, but then forgets to assign the homework and offer specific tools. The other 1/3rd is fairly useful, enough to make it worth reading, but there are probably meatier books out there.
