Очень устаревшая книга.

Для начинающих финдиров пойдёт. А в моём случае...

Нового мало, и реально ценными оказались только первые три главы и два приложения. Остальное очень заточено под рынок США, каким он был в 1980е и 1990е, и даже глава об электронной коммерции не спасает.

Часть материала стоит читать со скоростью 10-12 страниц в минуту, а часть вообще не релевантна если только вы не ведёте операции с американскими контрагентами и вам не нужно понимать особенности их работы.

Особенно раздражали описания работы с бумажными чеками на оплату и лучшие практики такой работы. Хорошо, что хоть не с пингвинами. Хотя пользы было бы столько же.

This is a very useful book, written by an experienced former CFO. The title is a bit misleading, since it is about financial management (e.g. accounting, tax, capital, funding) not about leadership (i.e. influencing others towards a common goal).
