Let’s call it Operation X.

This book is a real eye-opener concerning what really happened on 9/11: There are skeptics on one side, the Kean Commission on the other... So much blood was shed on American soil that day, that we were left wondering, Where did all this go wrong?

The September, 11, 2001 attacks, also known as the 9/11 attacks killed nearly 3,000 people and caused about $10 billion worth of property and infrastructure damage. It remains the largest and most devastating terrorist attack on American soil.

Here, a number of number of alternatives to the official narrative are put forward. There are many experts who believe that the official narrative does not hold true and that it is likely that some sort of cover-up has taken place. Of course, there are also experts defending the governments story and shooting down those they call 'conspiracy theorists' but we all know that experts provide support based on who's paying them.

The usefulness of this book really comes down to the age old QUALITY OR QUANTITY DILEMMA - to cover lots of unanswered questions about what actually occurred on the day versus covering less points but covering those main points in detail. This book touches on so much that it barely scratches the surface in terms of depth. There are probably other larger books that do this sort of thing a lot better.

Unfortunately, I think we are a long way away from finding out the truth and that's if it is ever revealed. A lot of people just take the official account at face value and don't question anything that was stated whereas others believe there was either a cover-up or that it was an inside job.

There are many unclassified documents from decades ago that highlight the huge lengths the American government were willing to go to to get what they want. This has occurred in many countries and under many governments, not just in the United States. Could this be what happened here?

9/11 has been described as the 'mother of all false flags', a false flag is a horrific staged event - blamed on a political enemy and used as a pretext to start a war or enact draconian laws in the name of national security. Sound familiar? It should. For many years many nations around the world have carried out false flag operations for exactly the reasons stated above, false flags are certainly not a new concept.

As admitted by the U.S. government, recently declassified documents show that in 1962, the American Joint Chiefs of Staff signed off on a plan to blow up AMERICAN airplanes (using an elaborate plan involving the switching of airplanes), and also to commit terrorist acts on American soil, and then to blame it on the Cubans in order to justify an invasion of Cuba. This hits a little close to home and the similarity between 9/11, the illegal invasion of Iraq and this plot should be noted.

In further evidence, A former U.S. intelligence officer recently alleged: Most terrorists are false flag terrorists or are created by our own security services. In similar testimony, the special agent in charge of the FBI’s Los Angeles office said that most terror attacks are committed by the CIA and FBI as false flags.

The disclosures above are important as they put into perspective the world around us and force people to think about what could actually be going on behind the propaganda. After all, if they've used these tactics before, that have worked so well at achieving the objective, why would they stop now?

Returning to the events of 9/11, maybe the government saw this as a way to shift public opinion from opposing America's foreign policy in the Middle East, to supporting the warmongering. In my opinion, i don't think it's too far fetched to think that the U.S. government - and perhaps other governments too - had a hand in this mass murder. Its terrifying to ponder the extent to which the public have been deceived. Some people accept the official account purely because they don't want to know what was really happening. Admittedly, it is frightening to think of a government killing it's own people for political gain. RIP to all those poor souls who perished.

This book was really good and I would recommend this book to anyone because I feel like everyone would like this book. It was so interesting and it had some point of ideas where I never thought before of 9/11 but I was only 1 years old at the time but I have heard so many different stories and the questions that still need to be answered but this is a great book to learn more about 9/11 and the history and what really happened. I would read this book again because it really good.

Excellent overview of the main features of 9/11 and what the main issues with the official explanation and the gaping holes in the official enquiry report. While it doesn't go into any depth it is a great starting point for anyone wanting to find out more about the controversies of 9/11 and where they may want to research further.

It started with magazine articles and a couple books but found its growth on the internet. On various web sites, newsgroups and forums, people raised questions and looked for answers to issues they felt were left unaddressed. More books and video exploring the same territory began appearing. It has now mushroomed to the point where it not only has a name, some of its conferences get airtime on C-SPAN. It calls itself the "9/11 Truth Movement," a largely grassroots effort questioning what Americans have been told and believe about what occurred on September 11, 2001.[return][return]As I am not one to reject ideas out of hand without some thought and consideration, I decided to try a rational exploration of the issue recently. I picked up 9/11 Revealed: The Unanswered Questions , a generally highly regarded book dealing with the various streams of thought of those who have serious questions about what really happened on September 11, 2001. I also picked up Debunking 9/11 Myths , the paperback publication of a project by Popular Science magazine exploring some of the 9/11 conspiracy claims.[return][return]The bottom line? While the Truth Movement raises some questions and coincidences that appear interesting on the surface, its case is held together by a glue made up more of distrust of government and a willingness to make leaps between apparently unconnected events than science and facts.[return][return]Read balance of review at http://prairieprogressive.com/?p=808

I'd classify Morgan and Henshall's book as probably the most "approachable" of the 9/11 books I've read thus far. Suceeds in presenting key questions effectively, without getting bogged down with details - Griffin's The New Pearl Harbor would a good one to read next (the details will mean more at that point).

The author tried his best to narrate the incidents happened as it's. It's an interesting read.
It's clear that the author should have put a lot of efforts to come up with this book. This book is mainly focused on raising the questions which were failed to answer by Kean's commission.

A look at the evidence from the September 11th attacks in 2001. This is one of the best books that I've read on the subject, asking different questions and challenging what you think you know.
