Tränen im Sand
Nura Abdi ist achtundzwanzig Jahre alt und lebt seit neun Jahren in Deutschland. Sie stammt aus Somalia, ist in Mogadischu aufgewachsen und musste wegen Bürgerkriegsunruhen in ihrem Land Hals über Kopf fliehen. Nura wollte in die USA, doch der gefälschte Pass ihrer Cousine mit dem sie reiste, wurde in Frankfurt entdeckt, was ihre Pläne jäh durchkreuzte. Doch sie gab nicht auf und versuchte, sich in Deutschland ein normales Leben aufzubauen.
Aber der Traum eines unbeschwerten Lebens, wie es unzählig deutsche Frauen ihres Alters führen, ist nicht so einfach zu erfüllen, denn Nura ist anders: Im Alter von vier Jahren wurde sie pharaonisch beschnitten, ein grausames, jedoch für Afrikanerinnen übliches Ritual, dessen vollen Umfang Nura erst erkennt, als sie sieht, dass europäische Frauen ihr Schicksal nicht teilen ...

Przeczytałam tą książke z rekomendacji mojej babci. w związku z tym znaczy ona dla mnie coś więcej niż dla normalnej osoby czytającej to dzieło.
Wraz z czytaniem tej książki uświadomiłam sobie że ten gatunek—autobiograficzny, to zdecydowanie coś dla mnie.
Ta książka dużo uczy człowieka o trudach życia, jako ktoś stosunkowo młody czuje że bardzo dużo mi to dało. Nura Abdi przeżyła dużo; obrzezanie, wojne i immigracje, lecz mimo to ona sie nie poddaje. I własnie to urzekło mnie w tej literaturze, czuje sie jakby Łzy na piasku opowiadane przez moją babcie uczyły mnie żeby mimo przeciwnosci dalej przeć przed siebie.
Oprócz o przeciwnosciach losu, Nura Abdi również przez dużo, dużo stron opowiada o tym jak dorastała w Afryce. Dzięki temu ta książka równierz jest odpowiednia dla osób chcącymi zapoznać się z tematem. Mnie Nura naprawde oczarowała Afrykanską i samą Somalyjską kulturą i napewno kiedyś będe musiała się tam wyprawić.
Podsumówując, jest to naprawde elokwentie napisana literatura, posiadająca wiele wartości zawartych w histori życia tej kobiety. Naprawde polecam, tak naprawde wszystkim chcących poszeżyć horyzonty!
