Have you ever wondered what your gifts are? Or how to safely access and develop them? Have you been told that you are a healer or energy worker but don't have the slightest idea about moving forward?Did you know that not recognizing what your gifts are can your life much harder? For instance, if you are constantly picking up other people’s emotions and are unaware of this, you will forever believe that you are the source of what you are feeling. The knowledge of your extrasensory gift(s) is freeing and allows you to explore, develop and employ your gifts. Or, if you are aware that you are an empath but can not tell the difference between what’s yours and what’s theirs then you can end up confused and overwhelmed. It’s the same for each of the gifts.
Our gifts can be tools of immense value or they can torture us if we are suppressing or misunderstanding them. Sometimes our gifts are not so easy to identify. This is partly because we are immersed in cultures that fear, wish to control, or do not understand them.
Exploring your psychic gifts alone can be confusing and scary. While all the gifts discussed in this book can be divined and developed on our own, it is so much easier with guidance and mutual support. Having an archetype to validate your experiences allows you to progress in your journey toward self-knowledge and self-acceptance with confidence.
Having a gift that you are not aware of or don’t know how to manage causes hardship. Lightworker Honoring Our Sensitivities & Remembering Our Gifts birthed from our desire to help people define and nurture their gifts. Our book came into existence gradually as our understanding of the Archetypes grew. As we worked with each one, we developed more ways to support people with that particular gift.
Initially, we created an assessment quiz that analyzes your answers and tells you, in percentage terms, the gifts you have worked with (either consciously or unconsciously) throughout your life.
If you haven't taken our Archetype Assessment Quiz yet, you can find your Lightworker Archetype at the following Once upon a time . . . This incredible project sneaked up on the unassuming duo, Lia and Meghma, while they were exchanging personal anecdotes about their out-of-the-box experiences. The question “How many people experience similar things and don’t recognize how special they are (or even worse) hiding in the shadows for fear of being persecuted.”
“We must tell the others!”
What will you find in this In our book, you will recognize, understand and relate to the 10 Lightworker Archetypes that we have explored in much detail.

Lia Russ was born high in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado in a town so small that only three other children were born that year. Perhaps because of the sparseness of human population and the vastness of the natural world, Lia learned to open her senses to connect with the energies of everything around her.
It wasn't until she moved to Westchester County, New York, (at age nine) that she began to realize she was different from other children. Between her sensitivities to energy and a discovery that she was dyslexic, Lia feared that she would never fit in. She grew to dislike her differences, and because there was no support, she began to feel like she was irrevocably stupid and despaired about what life would be like for her as an adult.
This sense of despair followed her and overshadowed her life until that very discomfort caused her to leave the USA for the Far East at nineteen, in search of answers. She has devoted her life to understanding the things that she saw and felt around her that no one else seemed aware of and to finding information that would save others from having to experience the pain of isolation and self-doubt that she went through.
Lia loves nature, animals, solving mysteries, writing, creating art and dancing. She has traveled extensively in the United States, and Asia and currently lives in upstate New York with her boyfriend, two dogs, two cats, two parrots and many plants. Lia collects strays, crystals, and dots.
