Two alpha wolves. One woman who calls to them both…
Ten years ago, federal prosecutor Gianna Lynn let loose in Vegas and married a stranger—a really sexy, wickedly take-charge stranger with whom she had the hottest, kinkiest sex of her life. Obviously, they need a divorce. And, since she has a convicted gang member gunning for her, she also needs to disappear for a few weeks. Taking time off to track down her missing husband in the depths of the Louisiana bayou seems like the perfect solution.
Werewolf Alpha Luc Breaux sacrificed everything for his Pack. He’ll stop at nothing to keep his wolves safe. Mating with Gianna was a regrettable lack of control on his part and letting her run from him was the only way to guarantee her freedom. When the gang targets his AWOL mate, however, it’s time for Gianna to come home. Luc makes her a deal. Spend seven nights with him in the Louisiana bayou as his mate…and he’ll give her the divorce she wants. Seven nights to convince her to stay with him and seven nights to teach his mate the sweet pleasures of submission to the wolf pack…
But Luc’s not the only Alpha betting he can convince Gianna to take a chance on him and love. Cruz Jones, the Alpha of neighboring wolf pack is determined to protect Gianna from the gang and make her his. Luc’s dark, dominant sexual lures Gianna, but Cruz tempts her as well. Surrendering to one means giving up the other…and threatens to pull both packs apart.

If you're looking for some menage with two alpha wolves, here it is. Gianna is torn between Luc and Cruz. Luc has the upper hand because he first met Gianna 10 years ago in Vegas. Their night was amazing, but it felt more like a dream for Gianna because it was only one night.
Luc tries to win her back, but he finds out that another alpha has her attention. Luc is promised one week with her, and then Cruz is also promised the next week. These two alphas may not be able to share, but they do want Gianna to by happy.
Does this prequel spark my interest to read Wolf's Desire? My answer is YES.
Short and hot. I felt like there was a lot of back story that I wanted to know about these characters. Not sure if more of their story gets told in future books or what. This was just what I was looking for at the moment though. Loads of sexual tension, two smoking hot alpha heroes and a situation ripe for a hookup. Yummy.
Luc and Gianna were great and really hot together and their story didn't need the drama of Cruz thrown in. I just don't see the relationship lasting more than a a month or two cause two Alpha's of different packs just don't mix.
Gianna, I loved how that girl would give Luc a run for his money, “you want to have sex now?” I love the way she jumps straight to the end game. The way she says whatever she has on her mind. She doesn’t pull her punches or play coy." Sometimes a man just has to do what would make his woman happy, “we’re wolves , shug. We’re territorial. It’s not nice, and I can’t dress it up for you. My wolf, he’s not one for sharin’, but if Cruz here matters to you, I’ll be doin’ the best I can to let him in.” I enjoyed this book I'm intrigued by these three and am curious as to how they will work their relationship o it.
This last book is about Luc, Gianna, and Cruz (Riley's brother). Luc and Gianna have a small history where they met in Vegas 10 years before. They've had this discrete contact with each other through private investigators, until FINALLY a potential threat towards her brought them into each other's lives again. Cruz is new in the picture and has developed strong feeling for Gianna, even though she still has ties to Luc. So basically, it's a race for whoever can win Gianna in the end. This was my least favorite of the series, not as much action. However, it was a good ending to the whole series.
Its cute. On the edge of becoming a feral wolf, Luc hunts down his human mate Gianna who he let go 10 years prior after a one night stand to protect her from his life as an alpha.
Gianna is uncertain about Luc and ends up in a love triangle between Luc and another alpha Cruz, agreeing to spend a week with each of them so they can prove they are the right choice for her.
Of course she ends up with both in a HEA.
Side note: I hate that Luc calls Gianna “shug” to show his country accent, especially when his inner monologue sounds nothing like this

The description of the book said it all: Alphas - not just one but two, oh my!, shifters, action and suspense, romance and some sexy menage style heat! I just had to get my hands on it.
This was a quick read and very hot. I enjoyed the story and found it to be well-written with complex characters and/or world and lots of potential. For me there were certain issues though that kept this book from reaching its full potential. Although the book went straight into kick-ass mode with the werewolf biker gang attacking Gianna and Luc rushing in to save her, this part of the storyline soon drifted to the back burner with not much more to this until the very end with a quick battle. It should have been amp’d up throughout the whole story, not just in the very small doses that were given. Now we have Luc - we should have been given a bit more of his backstory as far as what’s been going on with him since last he saw Gianna; we were told what had taken place with Gianna and had gotten all caught up on her but with him, not so much. Cruz, Cruz, Cruz. I felt like he was not smoothly transitioned into the story as he should have been but instead just tossed in on his queue since we knew he was the other Alpha and he was supposed to have been in the story; it just could have been handled better. I got a BAM and there he is feeling when I saw how he was brought into the story. Also with Cruz being hesitant and unsure of himself I just didn’t see him as an Alpha.
I’m definitely looking forward to reading the rest of the books in the series and to see what happens.
Recaptured by the Pack: A Bayou Wolves Prequel, Anne Marsh
Review from Jeannie Zelos book reviews
Genre: Romance,
This sounded right up my street, werewolves, adventure, a bit of danger, lots of spice and not just one but two sexy alpha males. It did have all that but somehow for me it just didn’t really work. I felt kind of under-whelmed by the story, as if all the elements were there but didn’t reach the potential I thought the story had. The biker gang battle was really just hinted at, a little action when Luc first comes on the scene and that's really it. Then there’s Luc and Cruz. We didn’t really get to know much about either, what Luc had been doing over the past ten years, how they could both be Alphas and yet make the decision they did without some kind of arguments, friction, physical fights. They acted completely at odds with how Alpha werewolves are usually portrayed and I needed more reasons why. I’d have liked to have met their packs too, got a feel for how they would react. As Alphas their decisions affect the whole pack after all. Still its a shortish read at just over 1900 kindle locations and I guess that’s why these issues don’t really get explored enough for me. I’m not really a fan of novellas and I hadn’t realised this was one, my error and I wouldn’t have chosen it if I’d known. If you enjoy novellas this could be a perfect 5* read for you but it’s a 3* from me.
Stars: two and a half, a lot of potential but didn't really live up to it for me.
After one night in Vegas Gianna has memories she will never forget no matter how many times she tries. When one night a Baton Rouge biker gang tries to hurt her, one blast from her past, Luc, decides to turn up when she needs him the most.
Luc walked away from one of the best women he has ever known. After years of staying away he fights to get back in time to save Gianna from danger.
Can Luc prove to Gianna that he is the man to keep her safe and own her heart...or will something or should I say someone, always stand in the way? Read and find out!

I believe that Anne Marsh did a good job with this book. It was funny, filled with action and contained tons of hotness. This book is selling right now for 0.99 cents right now and I think that is a fair price; for a book with a hot cover, from a great author.
What I loved about this book is that although it was about a relationship with two alphas it still remained all about Gianna. Gianna's wants and needs came into play 100% of the time and I thought that was great.
Also I want to say great job Anne Marsh for daring to be different. You made a paranormal romance and did not keep things simple. You built us a love triangle that wasn't easy and polite. These men were ready to take what they wanted but Anne Marsh ensured that you saw that they had to change and be open to new things to get it!
Alternate version of Claimed by the Pack, the first in the Bayou Wolves series. Ten years ago Gianna met Luc in Las Vegas and they had one night together. She doesn't remember much about that night other than the sex and her proposal, but she fears she may have married him. Luc has decided to contact Gianna and try to get her back knowing she is his mate. There are complications when a biker gang full of werewolves put a hit out on Gianna. She ends up in the Louisiana Bayou giving Luc seven nights to prove that they belong together. Luc just didn't count on another alpha in the area, Cruz, to be vying for Gianna's heart as well. These two alphas must decide if they can co-exist if Gianna wants to be with both men. They must also protect her from the bikers and find out who wants her.
I really enjoyed this paranormal romance. I haven't read the others in this series, but I plan on catching up soon to find out what happens. I liked getting a glimpse into each of the characters minds with the different POV'S.

Luc Breaux and Gianna Lynn had a sizzling weekend in Vegas ten years ago. She asked him to marry her. Little did she know, she was Luc's Blue Moon Bride. He mated her but didn't think she was ready so he let her go, without mating him, when the weekend was over. Now he's found her and wants to complete the mating but there's only one problem. She has feelings for the neighboring pack's alpha, Cruz Jones. She's giving Luc seven nights to convince her that he's the one she wants. Another problem for Luc, she's also giving Cruz the following seven nights. Is it possible to have two alphas at once?
Anne Marsh really knows how to write a sexy shifter. This book is scorching! What a lucky girl Gianna is. She's got two gorgeous alphas wanting her. (Ah, a girl can dream...) I'm just not sure if these alphas are into sharing. Now, I've seen how amazingly sexy Luc can be with Gianna and believe me, Luc is amazing! I can't wait for Gianna and Cruz's story. I love the Blue Moon Brides series!

This book is dirty and wicked but still has a romance at the heart of it. Who can say that you're only meant to love one person?
Gianna is a very "by the book" woman who lives by the schedule, is always professional, and also happened to have a hot fling and maybe get married in Vegas 10 years ago. Once she figures out if she's married or not, she's determined to dive back into dating, starting with a sexy cop she met chasing down some evil bikers. Luc is an alpha wolf that knows Gianna is his mate. Rather than thrust this on her, he's let her have a life but the time has come to collect his mate.
These two seem to be able to jump right back into the bedroom (or living room, as the case may be), but that doesn't necessarily mean they can have an actual relationship (especially with the cop still eager for her affections). All of this comes to a head when the three of them meet up at the wedding of Luc's brother and the cop's sister. These three find some kinky ways to work together.
Not sure what happened to my other review, but I'll do this again... First off, since when was Cruz a werewolf? I don't recall Riley's family being werewolves!? Riley is an Arctic Fox!? Unless she was adopted and I didn't see that, but as mentioned, I don't recall the rest of her family being wolves. If so, why would her brothers be disappointed with her being mated to a wolf??? I was really disappointed in this book! If Cruz is a werewolf, why is it different for his family about mates? Wolves mate for life yet his family being wolves do not? And if it's just Luc's family ~ how do all wolves know about the Blue Moon? And his family are not all blood ~ so once you're accepted into the pack ~ you get hit by the Blue Moon? I really loved the other books with his brothers and really thought Luc would get to go out with a bang as the Alpha ~ not have to share with another supposed Alpha... Also, if she doesn't choose him, doesn't he lose himself to the wolf?
I think this story has alot of potential, and I really wanted to give a higher star rating because I can see this story and these characters making great things, BUT I was confused and alot of times I felt as if the story jumped. The beginning of the paragraph it was a Saturday but at the end it was Tuesday. The first time this happened I figured I must have missed something but then it happened again, this time closer together and I realized that it wasn't my imagination. It seemed rushed and I'm not sure how they came to their happily ever after when the previous ending of the chapter, Gianna is pissed for good reason and takes off. Then half way thru the next paragraph, BOOM, she shows up and it all somehow works out. It seemed rushed and unfinished. I did enjoy Getting the POV from Luc and Cruz as well, just wish their was more depth to it.
Before reading this, I actually ended up getting the prior books, just so I wouldn't be lost with the backstories of the other characters. Gianna and Luc (and Cruz)'s story is interesting and captures your attention, but this felt unfinished. I actually went ahead and read the next few books in the Bayou Wolves series - which goes on with these three characters' journey, and I'm still feeling incomplete haha. I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing...it's one of those cliffhangers, where you are dying to see where it goes, even if you logically know that it's heading towards a HEA. I'm hoping that there will be another book that helps to bring some closure, but overall, I'd recommend the Blue Moon Brides and Bayou Wolves series, and Recaptured by the Pack.

Intended for adult readers only. This is a novella with wolf shifters. There is just a small amount of violence but there is several sex scenes.
Gianna is a successful lawyer climbing up the corporate ladder. 10 years ago she had a one night stand with Luc in Las Vegas. For her it was a hazy memory. For Luc she was his mate but he let her go.
Now Luc has come back to claim her but she is not the type to submit to this alpha. And then there is Cruz. He is another alpha that has feelings for her to. She must decide between the two or is there a chance she can have both.
Now that all the pack have found their Blue Moon Brides, it is now time for Alpha Luc to re connect with his. 10 years ago Gianna went to Vegas and had the night of her life with Luc. Things from that night are a bit hazy so it is now time to look to future, but is that future with Luc or the sexy Cruz. Cruz wants to protect her from a new threat. Safety is in the Bayou, and Luc's House with a 7 nights agreement. But how so 2 Alpha wolves cope when they are both offered a week, that the Blue Moon bride likes to be protected by both of them? Can Luc prove to her that he is all she needs?
Good but I thought Luc was going to be really hard to go down. Gianna was a nice touch for keeping him in check but she still didn't push him far enough. I feel like Cruz came out of nowhere with his pursuit of her. I can't see this arrangement working out in the long run and I really wanted it to. I think she could've been stronger and way more stubborn forcing Luc and Cruz into Alpha mode. The way Cruz came off you'd think he'd be a beta or omega, he seemed too unsure of himself to be an Alpha. I'm hoping he steps up to the plate in the next one and she pushes them to the max.
I loved this series!! Those Breaux brothers are something else! (literally) But to be honest this was my least favorite story of the 5. Maybe because if I had my pick of the litter Luc would be my choice. I wanted a "Happily ever after" for him. What he got was "It's complicated." I mean really, what the hell Cruz?! lol I'm sad this is the last book. Will definitely have to reread this series in the future and get my Breaux fix.
Luc and Gianna's story is definitely different. A very interesting situation between him her and him. Can two alphas share one woman, or what. Can't wait to see what happens next. If you having read Anne Marsh's "Blue Moon Brides" series you have to check it out.
I received this book from Net Galley in exchange for an honest review.
The blurb for this one was a bit misleading. It appeared to be a straight forward second chance romance. But it ended up being a menage romance - which I don't mind, but the story felt disjointed and like stuff was just throwing in.
Gianna may or may not be married to the guy she met in Vegas and had the best sex of her life with, but now it’s 10 years later and she is in trouble. She needs to find him so they can get divorced but this time Luc won’t let her go. Loved it! This was my first read in the series and I plan to read more! Great chemistry and so sexy!
I received an early copy so changes could have been made. I enjoyed the read but it jumped quite a bit along the story line. The book smacks traditional werewolf myth with its own brand of true love/mate stuff with a ménage. Still the read was enjoyable and the scenes erotic. Overall entertainment is three and a half stars!

Hmmmm, this is a menage at one point, but not very comfortable. I liked the story and how it all played out in the big picture. BUT, I wanted so much more for Luc, I felt he got the short end of the stick. I don't see how the relationship is going to work, it's forced and eventually seems like it will crash and burn.
What would you do with two alphas?? This was an enjoyable read, being an Anne Marsh fan it is not one of my favorites, (too short) but it does pack a lot into it. Which for me in what I've come to expect from Marsh fell a little flat. This is a second chance romance with a twist into menage romance.

The series is a great quick read but I (without giving away spoilers)wasn't expecting it to end as abruptly as it did. Did like the series though and will read more of this author's works. Thanks from this Southern gal searching for more Smexy reads.
Disappointed - started out interesting and I get that both the guys felt she was their mate, but her back and forth between the 2 guys for no discernible reason just did not engage me. Toasted from my Ebook Library.
