I am the only daughter of Beth and Mike Brewer (the town of Rosewood’s only coffee shop owners) and I have been in love with Cord ‘Gunner’ Montclair since my parents moved to Rosewood, Virginia. The problem? The beautiful man is eighteen years older than me and refuses to give me the time of day. To make matters worse, my father has openly threatened to kill Gunner if he even looks at me. Thanks, Dad, for cock -blocking me!
Gunner~
I knew the second I laid eyes on Beth & Mike’s daughter, Sarah, that she was mine. The problem? She was a minor at the time and even I knew better than to make a move on a Marine Sniper’s daughter. Reluctantly, I steer clear of her until she comes home for the summer instead of living it up in Europe as planned.
Within forty-eight hours, my quiet, idyllic life has turned into a game of cat and mouse. All because I gave into one hot lusty summer night. Now, my life is up shit’s creek without a paddle!
Hiding as my life depends on it, I know I’m on borrowed time. Not only do I have a bullseye on my back, but my brothers want a piece of me too when Beth bans all the Sons of Hell brothers from her shop.
However, when an ex-boyfriend comes to town and causes trouble, I do the one thing no one ever expected me to do... I claim her.
Both Gunner and Sarah are alike in many ways. So many times I laughed out loud with what was going on. Not going to list them because you have to read it yourself.
These two have loved each other for awhile and when Sarah comes home from college all bets are off. You will read how the fall in love, shenanigans, danger, and pregnancy. Even a jealous ex, this book is so worth the read!!!
OMG I was enthralled by everything Gunner, if he wasn’t making me laugh out loud he was breaking my heart with the grief I felt for the situations occurring. I absolutely loved Gunner and Sarah’s story ❤️❤️❤️ he gets himself into so many situations that are just unbelievable. He fell for Sarah the first time he saw her but she was only 17, his first slip up is asking Beth, the lady behind the counter at the coffee shop where and who was the pretty girl who just walked into the shop, it’s funny because Beth is her mother, just one of many foot-in-mouth moments for Gunner, everyone knows he’s just after one thing from the women he beds. This is a fabulous story one of the best. 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ you will not be disappointed 😎
Club Casanova meets spoilt Daddy’s Girl and sparks ensue.
Gunner is the Club Man Whore and REVELS in his status - he loves women, and women love him. He’s a love’m and leave them type… until he sets eyes on the one girl he can’t have.
Enter Sarah, daughter of the local coffee shop owners, gorgeous but young. Gunner is warned off THOROUGHLY by her former snipper father and she goes off to college… and out of sight keeps Gunner out of trouble. Then suddenly Sarah is home and Gunner is NOT good at self denial.
Great dialogue, twists and turns are what you expect from Rebecca Joyce. She delivers in abundance. Love the world of Sons of Hell MC. Guest appearances from a vengeful Venom and a Happily Ever After make for another great read.
Gunner is a 38 y/o man with only 1 thing on his mind….smex. Then he meets Sarah and he knows he can’t have her because of their 20 year age difference. Sarah is also a bit of a screw up. She has had everything handed to her by her parents. But because of certain circumstances both Gunner and Sarah have to grow up and become adults. And after that epilogue…boy Gunner has a rude awakening!!!! I definitely wasn’t expecting that! Can’t wait for what comes next for the Sons’.
I really enjoyed this book. I forgot how funny and goofy Gunner can be. There are so many hilarious parts through out this book, it balances out the serious bits we get as well. Sarah and Gunners relationship built faster than either expected but it was a wonderful ride. I loved her surprise hobby that no one expected. And the ending had me laughing so much! I can't wait to see what's next for the Sons of Hell MC
You know it's not going to be plain sailing when the club manwh@re falls for, and has been warned away from, the ex-snipers daughter - oh and he's old enough to be her father.
As they lurch from one calamity to the next, you can't help but laugh and fall in love with their antics. He's absolutely besotted with her, but still has a previous relationship hanging, while she's hopped from one thing to the next, never settling.
Well, all that changes after a night by the lake. They are both forced to change and grow together and grow they do.
Great read with some fantastic comedic bits thrown in.
Like it but didn’t love it The story running though the book was good a great story line But I didn’t think Gunner needed constantly being told he was a child when in fact he’s 39 years old , yea his a player and a joker and kept messing up But that just spoiled the book for me
I absolutely loved Gunner. He goes from an extremely shallow man who only has one thing on his mind to a man that puts his woman first I love how funny and laid back Gunner is. He's a breath of fresh air and i couldn't get enough. This book did make me laugh, a lot, this story is engaging, the character chemistry is awesome, and is full of steamy, funny moments.
This is a fun lighthearted read with a light tether to reality. Set in an Appalachian town called Rosewood are the Sons of Hell MC. It’s a small to mid sized tourist town. The MC is a generational affair and the majority of the club’s members are ex military. Gunner is the VP, his biological brothers are also members with King being the Prez.
The town’s best and only coffee shop is run by Mike and Beth Brewer, when their daughter Sarah catches Gunner’s eye, Mike is overprotective and as an ex Marine Sniper he’s got the skills to back up his threats. After all in Rosewood promiscuity goes by a different name, it’s Gunner. He has a lot of ‘love’ to share and he’s only too happy to do so.
POSSIBLE SPOILERS AHEAD….. I was very conflicted about this book, from the outset Sarah is portrayed as a childish airhead trouble magnet, Gunner is portrayed as a charming but childish jerk who’ll have sex with any woman with a pulse. It’s not until the last third of the book that either character is seen as anything more than originally seen. It’s definitely ‘MC lite’ although when it is raised it deals with dark themes. Frankly it’s something of a miracle that the MC members aren’t riddled with STDs, on book 2 it’s 2 for 2 regarding unsafe sex. It’s primarily that reason that lowered the rating. Must admit though that the reference to health care costs was cringeworthy. It was one reality I could have done without. If you can take it all with a hefty pinch of salt then you’re.
Gunner has allegedly been with every single female in the vicinity, for the last 4 years his main go to is Holly but it’s just ya nah, not anything more…. To Gunner. From the day he sets eyes on young Sarah he wants her to be hers buuuut….. she’s 20 yrs younger than him, her dad is an ex marine sniper and more than happy to resume that title if Gunner even looks wrong at his baby girl and her mama makes the best coffee in the USA and it’s his brother and future sister in laws life line so if they get banned from the coffee shop Mike won’t need to kill him because they will. They stay away for a good year but then she’s home for good, he goes to the lake to sulk and she’s hiding out there, the resistance band snaps ….. you get the picture I love Gunner, he’s like a cross between Casanova and Peter Pan on 2 wheels with banging pipes but if a 38 year old man was sniffing ‘round my 18 year old I would snap him like a twig, so I was team Mike most of the time. No one could deny the love and he not only sees Sarah he hears her and understands her. It is a beautiful thing they have but I’d still unalive him if she were my child
I absolutely loved Gunner. He goes from a shallow man who only has one thing on his mind, and that is taking care of his own needs. When he meets the daughter of the local coffee shop owners, he falls instantly for her but her father tells him to stay away as she is underage. The next time Gunner runs into Sarah he still has that intense feeling of wanting her. When he goes for a ride to the local lake who does he spot skinny dipping. Unable to resist when she offers up herself to him to get rid of her virginity. Gunner is so shocked he forgets protection and as such she becomes pregnant. After finding out that Sarah's parents tell her that she is on her own that it is time to be an adult. Sarah's father Mike tells Gunner he has till the opening of hunting season to do the right thing or else Mike is getting his sniper's rifle put to use. Gunner and Sarah go thru a lot of growing up on both of their parts before they find their HEA.
TROPES ● Second in the series ● Mc Romance ● Age Gap Romance ● Accidental Pregnancy ● Found Family ● Insta Love
WELL WELL ALL THESE TROPES AND IT STILL COULDN'T SAVE THE BOOK.😒😒
MY POV
● Well, I don't have anything nice to say about the book. That one star is because the interaction of the found family made me laugh like a hyena. THAT'S ALL. ● The hero is your regular playboy manchild( he is 38 and calls himself a child), and the heroine is a daddy's spoiled princess. And they both suddenly change to responsible adults in a whim. ● This plot has massive holes. And I am not talking about holes within the storyline, more like one line doesn't connect to another. ● So you are telling me that the guy saw her once, then met her after one year, and then he was like " I believe in you, baby doll". (YEP HE CALLS HER BABYDOLL)
I AM BUMMPED!!!!!!! SOMEONE HIT ME ON THE HEAD FOR CHOOSING THE BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In short, the plot was weak, and the writing took me back to the old days of Wattpad.
Gunner the VP for Sons of Hell MC, 38 years old, handsome & rugged, who knows virtually all the female town inhabitants intimately and has absolutely no intention of changing his lifestyle. At. All. He is happy go lucky and everyone expects him to mess up. Enter left stage the stunningly attractive underage daughter of the new coffee shop owners, her dad is an ex marine sniper who threatens the town Cassanova to stay well away from his daughter, in fact he sends her away to college.
Fast forward a couple of years, she has been expelled from college and back in town. Drawn together like magnets, fireworks soon fly and mayhem ensues.
I loved this story, second in the series and crossover from the Golden Skulls series. It’s much lighter than GS, but still has plenty of plot twists and turns, drama and many laugh out loud moments, there are plenty of characters in the MC that I really hope get their own book.
This is A MUST READ BOOK. 💓💓💓💓 this book Gunner is A very immature man. Sarah is A very immature girl. It was 💓💓 at first sight. You see Gunner gets Sarah, Sarah gets Gunner. Together they make a whole. This book was funny. But, you see nobody took both of them seriously. But, Gunner seen what Sarah was Good at and made it happen. She was Happy, like he wanted, it made him HAPPY Too. Sarah seen Gunner like nobody had. Sarah told His brother King, something like. You always treat him different, you expect him to act a certain way. But, y'all never gave him a chance, so he never change. But Gunner, man up when the time comes for Sarah. He wants to be a better man for her. But, OMG , the ending. let just say, I didn't make it to the other room. 😂😂😂😂😂😂 but Seriously, This IS A MUST READ BOOK. You, will NOT BE DISAPPOINTED, in this BOOK.

Gunner was not a one woman kinda guy, but one look at Sarah and he was hooked, only shes half his age and the coffee shop owners Mike and Beth's daughter! As off limits as you could get! When Sarah suddenly returns to town instead of her trip to Europe, temptation hits them both, but after when not only her parents but his own club, is out for him and with trouble from their ex's Gunner does the one thing no one ever expected, he claims her. Well written the story is engaging from thebstart, the character chemestry is off the charts with, steamy, funny moments, and more! A man wh*re meets his one, age gap, small town, MC romance.
Oh Gunner...sweet, sweet Gunner! This book was an amazing edition to the Sons of Hell MC series! Gunner, the beloved, goofy, always looking for a good time ladies man of the Sons of Hell MC has met his match! Sweet and naive (or not) Sarah has finally come home, but of course not without her problems following her. When these two get together (officially) the sparks fly and so does the drama :) Hurry and read this next installment to get ready for the rest of this amazing connected to series! You WON"T be disappointed!
I laughed my ass off at the end😂 Definitely fell in love with gunner I tried to read the 1st book awhile back and I never finished it for some reason, And then nearly a year later I stumbled across the golden skulls series. (READ THIS 1ST, IF YOU HAVEN'T) But, I Fell in love with it And now I've come back to sons of hell. So glad I pushed thru and read kings book, Because gunners was very good. 10 out of 10 That is why I'm currently up at 6AM and I got to work in a few hours lol. Can't wait for pyro & priests!!
Gunner, the younger brother of King, is the least likely of the Sons of Hell MC to ever consider settling down. Although he’s had his sights on Sarah Brewer since she first moved to Rosewood, with her mum and dad, aged 17.
A lighter and funnier MC read, Gunner delivered one-liner after one-liner, and had me in hysterics. Of course there were angsty aspects to the story too, which helped move the plot along. But Gunner, well he stole the show!
Once, I started to read this book I couldn't stop until I was done! I loved how the author bought together Gunner and Sarah who everyone saw as immature and not ready to act like adults and yet once together, they started to figure it out and saw in each other what no-one else saw! This book had the drama, laughter and practical jokes in spades! Awesome job!
Rebecca Joyce you continue to amaze me. Your writing is outstanding!!! This book had my emotions all over the place. I couldn’t read it fast enough. Thank you for another wonderful book. I loved this book and I love this series!!!!
Another amazing book. Age gap and love at first sight. Gunner doesn't make a move because of her age. Then, years later, he can't stop himself. Her parents know his reputation and don't like it. Gunner is there for her when the unexpected happens
Honor should have been happy she gave her virginity to the man she wanted. Savage tried to stay away but one drunk night ruined it. And he regrets opening his mouth. What should have been a beautiful moment turned to shit and the next day even worse. Now with Savages help they both will heal. GREAT STORY A MUST READ. Not saying anymore because I do not want to give anything away.
This is the second book in the series and I thoroughly loved it. Well written, crazy characters, sassy women, and scenes which will make you laugh out loud. Highly recommend. I hope this series last a long time! Enjoy😁
I nearly DNFd earlier because Sarah is such a total airhead, but I was kinda liking Gunner's owning his own manwhore ways.
But now even Gunner's idiocy, when he can't figure out why Sarah would be pissed at seeing him leaving Holly's house late at night has just totally put me off.

Gunner and sweet Sarah have an amazing story of how they found their way to a HEA. Tons of fun and laughter with this wild crew. Plenty of super spicy good stuff, MC drama and in-law shenanigans make for an awesome read!!!!
I loved the characters and the story line. Lots of action, crazy ow, some nailbiter moments and some hilarious moments. And of course a hea. This is book two in the series. A must read for sure.
