If I thought for a second that "Mighty" (lol) had any real interest in Risa, this would get scary, real fast. But he's obviously , so I'll let it go, I guess. But maybe not! Dress appropriately, don't hug your students even if they approach you first. Weirdo!

Es inevitable que me ría mientras leo xd en uno de esos momentos mi hermano se me quedo mirando raro y me dio más risa jajaj al final dijo que me iba a ignorar y ah fue chistoso xd
En fin, apareció un nuevo personaje 🙉 Maity sensei xd aunque su plan sea ayudar a Risa a través de los celos me parece raro igual eh su actitud es muy de chico playboy xd
Y este Otani sigue haciendo llorar a Risa, y se dieron un besito uyyy ❤️ ahora Otani esta celosito y ya empezó a marcar territorio, son unos críos

[13/07/2024]: alguien que me explique por qué le había puesto 3 estrellas a esta joyita de volumen ???? AMO releer Lovely Complex después de tanto tiempo porque honestamente es incluso mejor de lo que recordaba 😩😩 este volumen no solo es un cago de risa sino que además ver como Otani poco a poco se va dando cuenta de que la quiere a Risa es honestamente cine 🚬🚬 no me importa si es porque estaba celoso de Mighty-sensei y le gustaba la atención de Risa porque SE VIENE se viene el mejor volumen de Lovely Complex donde nace el amor hermano se viene la definición más pura de lo que es el shoujo 🚬

The (seriously, still one-sided) love story of Koizumi and Otani continues!
In this volume, Koizumi takes another spin on the Otani:"duur?" roller-coaster. But while Otani is off acting like a space cadet, we get introduced to a brand spankin' new character Mighty!, the newly arrived class co-teacher and substitute basketball coach. He's "Mighty Fine!" and might just the thing that Koizumi needs to give Otani that smack in the face we've been waiting for. It's always a process but Mighty steps up to the plate and takes on the challenge. With his "Mighty magic" can he somehow bring those two together? ... Well, it certainly couldn't hurt to try!
Side note: I'm starting to notice that I use the idea of a "roller-coaster" a lot with manga relationships... I need to come up with other ideas.
So, part of me finds a teacher getting involved in the relationships of their students a little bit creepy, but at this point these two could totally use the help. I mean, I love Otani, but sometimes I gotta wonder about that kid. I want to pat him on the head, then punch him in the face. I get really over-emotional sometimes.
But the little moments of realization in this, the way his eyes get all wide and you can almost see the gears turning in his head, are really excellent. I'm very impressed by Nakahara's ability to show a characters thoughts through there expressions. Although I'm starting to wonder if I'm going to be satisfied by Otani and his new found realizations when everything is said and done.

This series is a blast to read! I find myself bursting out in laughter all the way through. As quickly as I am reading it, I will be sorry to see it end.

Bármennyire is élvezem most ezt a sorozatot, bármennyit is vigyorgok közben és már türelmetlenül várom, mikor jutunk el már végre odáig, azért végig bennem motoszkál egy rossz érzés, ami miatt nem tudom felhőtlenül élvezni ezt a történetet.
Megértem Risát, hogy reménykedik és kitart, mégis bennem van, hogy ezt így egy év után el kéne engedni… És tök jó volt, hogy végül benne is felmerült, hogy feladja, mert csak megy az ideje ezzel és szenved, és annyira rossz, hogy közben a barátnője meg ráerőszakolja azt a döntést, hogy ne adja fel, meg már korábban is a vallomást… Persze, jobb volt úgy, hiszen mégis előrébb van az ember, hogy tudja, mit (nem) érez a másik, de annyival jobb lett volna, ha a többiek hagyják, hogy minden menjen a maga útján, mert azt gondolom, azért Ootaninak is idő kell, ahogy Risának is kellett, hogy másképpen tudjon nézni a lányra… És ez így, hogy közben árgus szemekkel figyelik őket, hogy megy a napi szintű kérdezgetés, célozgatás és hasonlók, csak nehezíti ezeket a dolgokat. Biztos nem könnyű az sem, amikor látod két emberen, hogy teljesen megvan köztük az összhang, és odavannak egymásért, még ha ezt maguknak sem vallják be, mégsem történik semmi. (Haha, ahogy velem meg a párommal volt. Egy emberben biztos vagyok, hogy már idegesítette, hogy nem történik semmi. Legalábbis a „Végre!” reakcióból ítélve. :D)
Szóval egy kicsit rossz szájízzel olvasok. Ezt a kötetet olvasva fogalmazódott meg bennem, hogy miért is van ez, mi zavar engem… Kicsit már Risa felől is zavart, ahogy Ootani felé kommunikálja ezt a dolgot vagy nem is tudom, hogy mondjam, persze azért Ootani is sokszor gáz volt, úgy éreztem, nem veszi eléggé komolyan Risa érzéseit. Azzal viccelődni, hogy pl. „így beszélsz azzal a fiúval, akit szeretsz” meg hasonlók, nekem sok volt. Jó, vicces is, meg úgy az egész történet ilyen, hogy amúgy remekül elszórakozom rajta, meg drukkolok, meg átérzem, meg minden, de így némi tapasztalattal a hátam mögött problémásnak érzek néhány dolgot. Talán az a baj, hogy belelátom a magam tapasztalatait, és azok alapján már annyira máshogy látok egy ilyen helyzetet. Talán ha nem rohanna így az idő a mangában, hogy eltelik olyan másfél év ezzel a szenvedéssel és várakozással – eddig a kötetig –, akkor lehet, hogy kicsit másképp érezném, hiszen azért Ootaniban is ott vannak azok az érzések (látni a fejlődést), mert éveket így szenvedni nem érdemes.

Noticing with some of the covers, they have the same or different poses. Like with the last one, has Otani and his friends and in this one has Koizumi and her friends. I like that, makes the covers fun. Anyway, wow this one. Risa seems to be questioning her like like for Otani. And we get a new character in the mix. Poor Otani, at least he knows how she feels about him but what will he do about it? Will they still be friends, how long until something will change? So many questions in the air. Anyway, good volume.

Risa and Otani fight again, with Otani at fault. Sort of. But this time it's different. Risa has declared she's going to quit being in love with him! At first, Otani, seemingly noncommittal, does nothing, but when Risa starts worshiping the new pretty boy, the self-proclaimed Mighty-sensei, it seems he might actually care!

Otani is such a clueless fool. I mean Risa has to spell it out for him that she likes him and then he rejects her. He ends up making her cry so much that Risa quits, and When some guy tries to steal risa away, Otani becomes some macho man and steals her back. It takes all this plus her birthday to make him realize that he likes her. Seriously....?

I love, love, love the drawings of Risa with her zoned-out, buck-toothed smile when she's playing her videogame dating sim and going gaga over "Mighty." I'm really enjoying this series.

Risa's emotional hits are just as heart-breaking as her zoned-out moments are funny. This is a perfect series that has a little bit of everything you could want in a story.

Un manga marrant qui se lit bien.
J'ai bien aimé suivre l'évolution des sentiments des personnages et des réflexions autour.
Par contre pas top l'amitié / amour avec des piques, des critiques, des engueulades et des coups à longueur de journée.
En fait, ça crie un peu trop tout au long du manga.
C'est aussi pas assez féministe à mon goût et ça banalise du sexisme ou des agressions sexuelles... Notamment avec le grand-père insupportable.
Et à la fin ça traîne trop en longueur. Je pense que ça aurait pu s'arrêter avant.

Divertente, ironico e leggero. Mi è stata regalata l’intera serie per Natale.
Ho visto l’anime ispirato a questo manga non so quante volte durante il periodo delle superiori. Poterlo finalmente leggere è una vera emozione per me.
Pur trattando tematiche adolescenziali, l’autrice affronta anche argomenti più complessi: emerge, per esempio, il tema transgender, il che lo rende un manga assolutamente adatto alla nostra contemporaneità pur essendo stato realizzato a partire dal 2001.

Had to skip to 6 because I don't have 2-5, and I think the next I have is 10-12...so going to be interesting.
Was a pretty funny rated T for teen manga, and I shouldn't- but I liked the teacher messing with otani...even though i shouldn't. He seemed to enjoy taunting the boy to bring out his emotions.

No sé qué tenga Lovely Complex pero siempre ha sido de las pocas series/mangas que me pueden hacer sentir cosas tan "realmente" es decir, en este tomo hay ocasiones en las que las caras de Otani o lo que dice me hicieron sentir incluso a mí mariposas en el estómago... lo mismo me pasaba con el anime, creo que son cosas que no te puedes esperar de cualquier manga/anime shojo.

Este manga cada vez está mas bueno, Otani por fin se va dando cuenta de sus sentimientos por Risa cuando empieza a tener celos.
Esos dos besos me mataron, pero saber que solo fue por parte de uno, me mato.
Mi risa solo sufre y sufre por ese enano, pero amo su relación y como se forma poco a poco.

Nggak Risa, nggak Otani, 22nya sama plin-plannya *lebih tepatnya ke Risa sih :p*. Dan akhirnya Otani mulai ada rasa ke Risa *mungkin udah ada dari vol. sebelumnya, tapi karena dia bebal, jadi ketutupan sama kebebalannya itu hahaha*.
