I "read" this book on audible. Now, I'm not sure if I should count it on my list! Somehow, I found it more difficult to remember, not having actually seen the words. But, it was good to have this accompany me on a long car ride.
I've completed several Beth Moore bible studies including the DVDs. So, I was well familiar with her high energy approach and her southern twang. At times I think she should be referred to as a religious comedian! The book is very similar. As a celebration of her empty nest, Moore walks us through all phases of family life from babies to car pools to teenagers, with her characteristic humor. I especially appreciated the chapters on getting older and on marriage. Moore allows herself to be frustrated, concerned, even angry with life. But, her faith and positive outlook are evident throughout.
