I really like the seals Lady Rhea created for this book. This book makes candle magic easy and fun to do. I never thought of using glitter or herbs to put the seal right on the candle. Makes the candles look really pretty.
The first half of the book is the basics like colors, oils, carving, explanation of how fire transform and releases the physical to the astral which is where we manifest from. It unites the physical with the mental (thoughts and ideas).
The second half of the book is full of spells for all sorts of various things.

Great resource book to have in your magickal collection. If you are curious about candle magick, learning the basics like colours and such to the more advanced applications with sigils etc. then this book is right up your alley. Definitely a worthy read if candle magick lights your fancy.

Out of the plethora of spiritual books I have read on candle magic, including one by a Santero, I find myself coming back again and again to Rhea's Enchanted Candle book. Now no I do not use her version of those large pillar candles, rather I use dripless taper candles, but where this book shines is her own garden variety of vevers or seals she has created. My favorite is the Fast Luck vever which I use quite often and just draw it on paper with my demand (re: petition) written on it then place it under my candle holder. Works quite well.
Many other candle books focus solely on things like colors of candles, shapes, planetary days and hours to burn them in, what oils to dress them with and so on but Rhea uses her own home spun vevers and they are awesome. I recommend this book for anyone who is serious about candle magic and wants to get good results. Highly recommended!
