Erik Ead Trilogy #3

Love That Just Is

Rate this book

Book 4 of 4
Kelli has developed into a woman that Erik cherishes, loves, and adores. He still, however, requires that she submit sexually and completely.

Erik has developed into a man that Kelli loves, respects, and wishes to please.

In this last of the four book series, Kelli's father becomes ill. Erik and Kelli each struggle with the imminent death of her father, and how to handle the loss of the only parent between them.

As the book progresses, so do they. Their true colors begin to show, and they become more of what each other may not necessarily expect.

What they do become is real.

Well, leaving a review for this is not easy. Not without spoilers.

The entire series.

The series was, according to the author, going to tell 'one' tale. One tale of the development of a relationship that started as a sex only D/s relationship - that 'may' develop into a loving, caring D/s relationship.

Book I. Romantic? Not an ounce. Love? I think not.

Book II. Romantic? Maybe a little. Love? Yes. I caught it developing.

Book 2.5. Jesus. Sex. and more sex. And the admittance of love.

Book III. Romantic. Holy sh*t. Love. Holy sh*t. Emotion? Holy sh*t. Raw? Holy sh*t.

This book, in 228 pages, made me do a lot of things. From the delivery in the introduction from the author, regarding love...to the ending.

You will cry, if you have a heart, four times. You will be beyond excited from the explicit erotic sexual scenes, six times. You will see romance, love, caring, loving, giving, nurturing, consoling, and..

"I'm sorry, I misunderstood you, I thought you said you wanted to be my submissive counterpart. I said put your f*cking hands down at your sides and do NOT say a word..."

All at the same time.

Erik becomes what so many wanted him to become. Human. Soft? No. Human? Yes.

Kelli becomes open. She actually speaks. Independent? Seriously? Uhhm. No. Submissive? To the core. But she has a heart, a mind, and a voice. And she proves it in this book.

"My kitchen, my rules. Either put on a shirt, or f*ck me...you pick" she tells Erik.

Well, the outcome wasn't necessarily what she expected, but you get the point.

This book follows Erik and Kelli through their lives of the new home, the selling of the BMW dealer, and the pending loss of her father, Gene.

All I can say is this:

This series does what so many books try to do and fail at.

It provides us with two real people (really far more, including the exceptional ancillary characters) that have a reason to be together, and aren't necessarily in love....and it follows them as they develop a love that has no boundaries, no limits, and no competition.

This series provides us warmth, hope, emotion, and a reason to believe. And it does so without becoming something that's predictable.

My favorite series in a D/s relationship erotica.

Hell, it's the only one that I've read that's real. Real people living a real life, with real problems. Life, ladies and gentlemen, isn't perfect. A book's depiction of it shouldn't be either, should it?

Oh, and the sex?

Jesus.

I bet you can't make it till the end sex.

Behind the garage and "oh I'm sorry your head is slapping the wall" sex...

Sex that includes Christmas ornamentation.

Sex that includes food stuffs.

Sex with shoes.

Sex from above.

Sex that defines erotic.

Sex that makes you cringe.

And sex that includes an ass that's afire.

Yeah.

Seriously? From the assh*le that wrote this would you expect any less?

If I could give the book six stars, I would. It definitely deserves them. The series? Five.

If you read, if you enjoy erotica. Take a weekend and read the series.

Nothing comes close.

6 Love That Just Is Stars

Wow…just…Wow

Have you ever read a book or a series that made you think?
Made you wonder about who you truly are?
Question yourself and your thoughts?
Made you realize that you are not alone and that there are people out there that understand you and those thoughts you have questioned?
That there is nothing wrong with you…that in fact you are quite…normal?
That there is someone out there for everyone?

This is my book. This is that series that did it for me.

It’s so hard to write a review about a book that was so real to you. One there the characters were so very real. One where you see so much of yourself within those characters.
How do you express your feelings and your thoughts?
When you fall in love with the characters and their story…it gets so very difficult to say goodbye at the end of their story.

Everyone has had a book like that.....

The story of Erik and Kelli continues in the final book in the Baby Girl series. Their love is truly a thing of beauty....and of real life.

Love that just is…

Finally settling into their relationship and their new home together, Erik and Kelli continue to grow. Growing individually and growing together. Growing stronger. Building their relationship emotionally and sexually. Learning each day what loves means to the both of them and how to prove it to each other.

Kelli has come out of her shell little by little. She has found her voice and that voice knows just what it wants and is learning how to get it as well. She finally feels that she is who she needs to be and she is with who she was meant to be with.
She no longer looks at herself as if something is wrong with her. As if there is no one on Earth that understands her.

Erik understands her. Erik is her reason to exist.

"I fucking love this man with all that I am. With all that I can provide. I love him with my entire existence. He breathes life into me. He has allowed me to understand who I am, and not feel broken for being me. I can be myself with Erik and not worry about him criticizing me.

He owns me."

Erik has learned to trust…trust Kelli…trust Gene…and ultimately, to trust his heart.

He has become a man that his mother would be so very proud of. A man who Kelli is proud to belong to. A man who continuosly proves his loyalty and devotion for those that he loves. He has learned to let go of the past, live in the present, and look forward to the tomorrows.

“Kelli caused me to feel. I didn’t think. I woke up feeling love for Kelli. I fell asleep feeling it. If I was breathing, I was full of love for Kelli.

Erik Ead was in love.

Sounds like a fucking oxymoron. My mother sure would be proud.”

When all seems to be going so perfectly, Erik and Kelli are tested emotionally. With Gene's health in question, Erik must face the fact that this is one thing he cannot control. He cannot control the outcome and how it will impact both him and Kelli. He cannot shelter her from the impending pain and heartache of losing her father. And he cannot avoid the grief he faces by losing the man who has come to mean so much to him. So Erik does what he does best....he stays strong.

“Love makes us strong. Love builds walls. Walls that protect us from the outside forces that attempt to sabotage it. True love is self-sufficient and can survive any series of traumatic events, because love isn’t a mere thought, it consumes us.”

One single act of selflessness....one person who will change the fate of another selfless man. It will make you believe that there is good in people. That not everyone only thinks about only themselves. That good, kind hearted people do exist.

“Take care of those that take care of us.”

The sex……*fans self*

Shit. Wow. Damn. Mother of God. Someone get me a towel…and a new pair of jeans.

Yes, the sex in this book was all of the above. And so much more.
There was syrup, washing machines, and holiday lights. To say the least, Erik made Kelli burn.....and not with fire.
Erik uses sex and pleasure as a way to get Kelli to open up to him…to talk and ask for exactly was she wants.

Their need and desire for each other is strong. Their love for each other through their sexuality is evident. Erik uses games. A way for him to learn what she wants, what turns her inside out. Games to get Kelli to feel.

Erik is demanding and a true dominant. Yet…he is caring and loving. He takes care of Kelli physically, mentally, and sexually.

Kelli is a natural submissive. She yearns to please Erik. To make him proud. Her greatest fear...is disappointing the man she is so deeply in love with. She thrives off of his demands and his control over her. She craves the loving words that fall from his lips.

“I love you baby girl. I love you with every ounce of my being. Understand that,” he whispered into my ear.”

There are so many emotions that I felt while reading…
Happiness
Giddiness
Pride
Heartache
Uncertainty
And the biggest of all…love
Love that Erik felt for Kelli. Love that Kelli felt for Erik. Love that was felt for Gene. Most of all, love that the author felt for his characters.

The development from beginning to end for Kelli and Erik, both individually and together…it was incredible.
His growth from being a man who didn’t love…who couldn’t find himself capable of loving another…to a man who utterly adored, cherished, and genuinely loved Kelli to no end.

“You allow me to live, to breath, and to survive. I am not afraid to admit it. I want you to be mine for all of what is forever.”

Kelli's growth from feeling like she would never love another, other than her father. Who didn’t believe that there was true love…until Erik happened into her life. She learned that if she would just speak up, she could get what she wanted. All she had to do…was speak. Not nod.

“We don’t always immediately realize that there is anything wrong in or with our lives until someone comes along and makes it right. That one person that completes our life – and makes it all seem right – allows us to see how wrong it was before they came along.”

I mostly consider myself submissive. It's in my nature to be a pleaser. I feel excitement and I take pleasure from making people happy. I am content in recieving nothing but praise in return.
After reading Baby Girl I, I was relieved to know that those thoughts, those feelings...they are not uncommon and they do not make you a broken person. They do not make what you desire wrong...in any way.
I found so much of myself within Kelli. The way she thinks. How she acts. Her needs. Her wants. Her inability to vocalize. Her strong need to prove herself worthy and not to disappoint. All of her. I get her.

Mr. Hildreth, you didn’t ruin me. Erik didn’t ruin me.
You made me a better person for myself.
You. Made. Me. Think.
Case and point....

“It’s the small things, the little fuckers that matter. We all stay worried about the big things, and we can’t change ‘em. The big ones are the way they are. We need to focus more on the small things to make life worth livin’. The details.”

Erik showed me what it is to truly love another person...unconditionally. He showed me that people can change. People can grow and learn and love at the same time.

You use your characters and stories as tools and cause us as readers to be able to put ourselves into your story. It gives us an escape, just as Kelli said...

“Reading had always been a way for me to escape everything. I felt when I read, if the writing was good enough, that I was the character in the book. I was nice to find someone that wrote in a manner that would pull me into the book and make me forget for a few hours who I was and where I was in my life.”

You used Erik to show us that even someone who may think that they are broken and that they are not capable of giving their heart....can do so.

“Love just happens. Love just is. Love consumes us and provides us with the ability to conquer whatever we encounter that gets between us and who we love.”

Scott, you succeeded . You did it.
And it’s not just me who you and your books have made an impact on. You put everything you have into your books, and it shows.

This quote....my favorite.

"My best advice to all living people is to keep searching. That person is it there. If you have to think about it, or second guess what you do have, it isn't love. Keep looking. Keep searching - because that person does exist. All you have to do is find them. And when you do, you'll know. You'll have what Kelli and I do.
Love that just is."

So, congratulations. Very well done. This series...it was more than just a story. It was eye opening. It was touching. It was perfect.

And most of all.....Thank you.

I really do not know how to start this review.

Have you ever read a book or a series of books and thought to your self

 photo imagesCAVCI11V_zps7adca2ca.jpg

Well that was me after finishing this series. I put my tablet down and told myself

 photo tumblr_mbwcppAAT31qec4gro1_5001_zps4c472e42.gif

I do not know if my review will give this series the justice it deserves but I will try......

I also hope my review will in courage others to read this series. It really is a must read for women and men alike.

First I need to say this, Scott through all 4 books you have made me think. About so many things.

LOVE, COMMINTMENT, LOYALTY, TRUST, HONOR, FRIENDSHIP, FAMILY, SELFLESSNESS AND LIFE IN GENERAL

You have a different way of putting things into prospective. And for that

thank you gif photo: Thank you 2 ThankYou2.gif

While reading this series you will do a lot of self reflection about yourself. At least I did.

 photo self-reflection-quotes1_zps8913f520.jpg

So from the very start of the series everyone sees Erik as a arrogant, selfish, conceited and to be honest a prick. (still loved him)

Erik is a natural Dominate person. Not just in sex but in his everyday life. Plain an simple he is “A BAD ASS ALPHA MALE”.

Kelli, all she wants to do it make Erik proud of her (she is a natural submissive and caregiver). But in this last book she has totally come out of her shell. She no longer worries if she is good enough for Erick and becomes more comfortable with herself around him.

"I fucking love this man with all that I am. With all that I can provide. I love him with my entire existence. He breathes life into me. He has allowed me to understand who I am, and not feel broken for being me. I can be myself with Erik and not worry about him criticizing me. He owns me.”

When Erik first met Kelli he had it in his mind that he was going to OWN Kelli and that it was only going to be about sex and only sex.

Oh how things change.

Erik indeed owned Kelli but what he was not expecting was for her to own him, heart and soul.

If you read this series you will see that you might have a little bit of Kelli in you.

And the men might see a little of Erik in themselves as well.

I love the journey that Scott took us on with Erik and Kelli. From Book 1 to Book 4 you see Erik's struggles with commitment, trust and love.

As we continue reading we were able to see them blossom as a couple. The love, trust and respect was on such a much deeper level then we normally read when reading erotica.

 photo Quotation-Shauna-Niequist-life-love-Meetville-Quotes-2673251_zps77a3ecd1.jpg

I can not help but love the fact that Kelli snuck her way into Erik's heart.

The way Scott explains love is beautiful. ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL

Really everything he writes has a Purpose and Perspective and I loved every minute.

Throughout the series I had so many emotions and feeling I was either crying, laughing or squirming in my seat.

Not all of the books were only about SEX.

Now do not get me wrong the sex was off the charts

“Who baby girl?” he whispered into my ear. "Son of a bitch, baby girl - I love fucking you. Because I fucking love you"

 photo imagesCAUWAMET_zps29cbfbec.jpg

But in reality the whole story was so much more. Whether the story is fake or not you will have to read the book to decide for yourself. Basically this series felt REAL to me.

Now real quick.

Gene I loved him. A relationship between a father and daughter like that is not something we see everyday.

Gene is sick and Erik has began to realize that this man means something more to him than just being Kelli's dad.

He trust Gene and loves him like if Gene were his father. Even though Erick has to control everything....

Sometimes life throws us things that are out of our control.

“Love makes us strong. Love builds walls. Walls that protect us from the outside forces that attempt to sabotage it. True love is self-sufficient and can survive any series of traumatic events, because love isn’t a mere thought, it consumes us.”

Bunny (love him) what can you say, I wish more people were like him. His selflessness is something a lot of us can learn from.

Scott thank you for a wonderful series. As I said before you truly know how to put things in prospective.

Thank you for taking us on a journey with Erik and Kelli. It truly was an amazing one.

It was very hard for me to review this book as a stand alone because lets face it this one book sums up the whole series. And without giving to much away I just did the basics.

There are so many quotes I would love to share in my review but it would be way to many. And I try not to spoil anything.

All of us have different views on love, relationships, trust, commitment hell I can keep going on but bottom line READ THIS SERIES!!!

So I will say farewell and leave with this.

“Love just happens. Love just is. Love consumes us and provides us with the ability to conquer whatever we encounter that gets between us and who we love.”

I can't believe I'm starting this review this way but I have to say it. I thought this book was so very touching and sweet and any other sappy romantic word you can come up with...that's what I thought about his book!! Don't get me wrong there's plenty of hot, kinky sex in this book, but the story to me is a lot more then Erik and Kelli's sexy love life.

Over the course of the series I've really enjoyed getting to know Erik and Kelli and watching their relationship grow. Kelli becomes more secure in the relationship and with that new found security she opens up into a stronger more carefree women. Erik, now having moved past his trust and commitment issues is now open to all the possibilities that being in a loving committed relationship bring.

What I loved most about this book was the relationship between Erik and Gene. Their relationship goes from.. this man is dating my daughter,to something that is more father/son. Their scenes together were touching, and boy did I cry through those scenes. There was also humor between the two. Gene never had a problem putting Erik in his place and believe me when I say that put a smile on my face! Big bad Erik chastised like a school boy *grin*

I have to give an honorable mention to Bunny who I simply adore do to his selflessness. The world could use more people like Bunny, and he said it best, take care of those who take care of us.

Joke! But really, glad I didn't miss out on this series:))
This series has been so much more to me than I thought. We all know I read this for the SMUT factor lol. And I got that. Jeez did I get that **fans self** But it's about friendship, loyalty, love, trust, and so many other little things that hooked me.
Kelli's father Gene. Yeah not sayin much on that;)) But I love him!!
Teddy and Heather. Too damn cute! And Teddy is a crack up! Tons of smiles there:))
A-Train. Honorable
Bone. Wise
Jake. Hey author! Hint Hint;))
Bunny. Oh Bunny. I knew it;))
The entire MC family. Love and acceptance:))

Erik. "Be yourself. Just exist. That’s all. It’s all I’ll ever want from you. Just be alive and be on my left,”**sigh**
And it's all that simple for him really. He just needs her to be her. To trust in him.
Kelli. “It isn’t very often a girl gets to live a dream.” “Never miss a good opportunity to keep your fucking mouth shut.”
Kelli rocks in this book. The girlie feels safe and secure and it's too sweet.

The smutty times. Dayummm. These two are something else. Pretty sure all Erik would have to do is whisper and freak I'd melt. “Who baby girl?” he whispered into my ear. "Son of a bitch, baby girl - I love fucking you. Because I fucking love you"

I don't want to give anything away so I will simply give you my thoughts on this series.

WOW.... LOVED, LOVED this series!!!

What I liked about all 4 books? Everything...
What I disliked about all 4 books? Um let's see, well I've got nothing. The reason is, it was simply amazing.. I had all kinds of emotions going on from teary eyed to laughing out loud.

Most books I have read have this thing called drama between the two characters, which by all means I love. It keeps the story interesting but here, nothing.. And I have to say it was a real treat to just sit back and enjoy the building of a relationship based on pure honesty. Drama free...

Aside from the steamy sex parts :), I loved how Scott broke down, in very descriptive detail, their thoughts and feeling. Several times I thought I was laying on a couch listening to a shrink myself. Fine tuning my every thought and emotion.

In my opinion, I think these books can be used at teaching tools. We as human beings need to be taught how to be honest with our partners on our likes and dislikes but most importantly we need to be honest with ourselves when it comes to our sexual activities..

So to finish my babbling, if your looking for a book that has a little but of it all, minus the drawn out drama , then these are the books to read..

Happy reading :)

"Baby girl," he whispered.
"Yes," I whispered back.
"I fucking love you," he whispered....

Love That Just Is, is the last in the Baby Girl/Erik Ead series. I have to admit that I am so sad this story is over. It ended perfectly. As always, Mr. Hildreth made me cry tears of happiness with his ending.

Each of the books in this series, for me, was a little vignette into the lives of Erik and Kelli....and book 3 showed how much a man set in his ways can change...can adapt to another human being once love is introduced. I loved his transformation unfold on the pages of my Nook.

I can not tell you how much I loved this series. I know Mr. Hildreth's writing style might not be for everyone, but it was for me. He is honest and passionate in his writing...it is thought provoking as well as meaningful with a great plot and healthy dose of steamy sex added in.

Thanks again Manda for sending me the - You have to read this PM. I am greatful I listened to you.

"Be yourself. Just exist. That's all. It's all I'll ever want from you. Just be alive and be on my left," he said.

Erik f$&king Ead owns me!!!

Just finished this and I swear this series totally rocked! Not only is it hot as hell but the character's development throughout the series was some of the best growth I've seen through any series. Honestly I loved the fact that it wasn't all just steam (don't get me wrong there was PLENTY OF STEAM!!) but that the stories of each character were well developed and I liked picking up on those changes as they grew and found themselves.

I actually felt connections to the characters and I'm a bit sad to say goodbye to them now. Hopefully the author will give us more of those secondary and lovable characters.

Baby girl 3
The final book with Erik & Kelli begins where the other left off. This one adds more detail and a story about Kelli's dad and what he went through with his wife along with some medical issues.
I won't give spoilers. Kelli's dad is facing a huge challenge and the MC rallies around Kelli & Erik.
This is what keeps me coming back to this author, how bikers fight for those they love and protect. Oh Easter!!!! Love that character!
Another thing I really like about this author is his knowledge of bikes!

The story is amazing, sex is hot and the finale made me cry AGAIN because it is that good!

Outstanding! Emotions are running high and time is running out! Can Erik continue to be the man that Kelli wants? Will he find his peace with his past and protect what's his?

The cast of characters in this book, the descriptive writing that tells this story...just wow! There's comedy, sexy-time and real-life scenarios that kept me glued to my PaperWhite. I was so incredibly moved by the ending and that saying a lot. This is an absolute must read series!

You know when there's a book you struggle finding the right words to describe? This would be it. This series is just so much more than erotica. It's not just sex, it's people who grow, develop, learn, feel, need, absorb and yes, have sex. Often. And in unconventional places.
The Erik Ead we met in Baby Girl I , who was cocky, distant, untrusting, defensive, had walls around him the size of China; is now a loving, caring, giving, considerate live-in boyfriend who knows and understands Kelli's need for being dominated.
Kelli is now more mature, stronger, and has a better understanding of herself and her place among the people she loves.
And that is just it. This book makes you think, feel and above all, understand that even when we feel less than adequate, unworthy or out-of-place, there is someone that is just right and that we all serve some purpose in others' lives.
The ancillary characters play such a huge role in this series, especially this book. When Erik's MC goes through turmoil, and Kelli's dad becomes ill, each character's distinct personality shine through. Teddy is as loving, tough and supportive as always. Gene, Kelli's father, is an amazing father figure who without speaking much, knows the needs of each characters and gives them what they need so gracefully. Easter, he is my personal favorite for many reasons, but the one I will mention is that his selflessness and wish to remain in the background stole my heart. Heather, Kelli's best friend, she learns her value as well and finds a special place just for her. There could not have been a better ending for a series. The concept of love is so true and perfectly explained. You can't force love. It shouldn't be questioned or examined. It is lived, breathed , felt. You let it consume you. Love that just is.
Everything wasn't peachy and beautiful, there were some rough patches, but the way every character and every situation flowed together so seamlessly , every scorching hot sex scene is so full of depth make not only this particular book stand out, but the writer as well. I have read tons of books, and I think few accomplish something quite like this. If you read between the lines, this book is just MORE.
As in the other books, Erik is as hot as ever. There is sex in various unexpected places (great ideas, btw). There's Christmas lights and a rooftop involved in a particular scene...
So if you're looking for a hot, steamy, BDSM erotica series that will also make you think, cry, laugh, grow and feel like gold... this is it.

I want people to know how perfect this book was. I just finished it and my heart is racing and I'm screaming inside, NOOOOOOO, I don't want this to be DONE. I'm not ready for this to be done. Scott, you've ruined me!! No explanation that's all I'm saying.
I believe your maturity as a writer has shown in this series. It started off Hot and Sexy and the story line was really good. But as we got deeper into The Story of Erik and Kelli, your writing changed. You got deeper with your characters and it wasn't just about Hot Sex anymore. (I'm not saying there is anything wrong with hot sex, mind you) Erik and Kelli grew as a couple, eventually falling in love, which added a whole new dimension to this series, and your writing. I love how you explain what love is because I believe some people don't really know. Your explanation of love is beautiful, and as soon as I read it, it clicked, it made sense. You Scott, are a very smart man ;) This book explains a lot of how and Why Erik feels the way he does and I really liked that. I don't think I've ever read a book where you really understand what the MAN is feeling, not just from his words being spoken but from the character and the writers heart.
I've read all of your books now Scott, and this book really spoke to me on a very personal level, one of which I've talked to you about before. Broken People was very deep and meant more to me in a different way for different reasons. This series is obviously much different. The lifestyle that Erik and Kelli have starts off intense and fun, maybe. But once you bring respect, love and trust to their relationship it brings the D/s bond to a Much deeper level. Their relationship started off pretty serious but as they fell in love, as the books progressed they became comfortable with each other. Sex wasn't always so serious, they had fun, even though Scott was in charge.
I just loved to see their relationship grow within the books. You were right it was sexy as hell, it was fun, I cried a few times but I really fell in love with "Erik" even more.
Thank you for another awesome book. Like I said this book has touched me personally for lots of reasons.
But honestly the line that totally stole my heart, and really meant a lot to me were your last words

A Thanksgiving holiday giveaway hosted by Life Between Fiction chose my name as the winner for Scott Hildreth’s Baby Girl Series. I not just won 1 book but the whole trilogy. Baby Girl I, II, II.5. (book III was not out yet but got them as soon as it was out) Truth be told, I have never heard of this book. So I was very intrigued with what I won.

Baby Girl starts with Dr. Erik Ead, A psychiatrist, a motorcycle man, with tattoos and if one does not know him would think he is an arrogant man. A man who knows what he wants and does what he wants but never letting anybody close as he does not believe in love. He is a dominant in nature who wants his women to submit but makes it clear that there will be no talks of commitment.

All changed when he met Kelli, a college graduate scheduled for University at the end of summer. Kelli, who also does not believe in commitment, who uses men for sex. Who did not know that she is a natural sub.

This trilogy felt so real. So raw, you can feel the pain. Make you wonder if this is all fiction or if it’s based on a real person and real events. A lot of psycho analogies that make you question and understand the relationship between a D & S. Did I mention how HOT the sex scenes were?! Raw, hot steamy makes you squirm with delight! Give your imaginations a good workout.

This book is not just about the relationship of a couple finding love, but is also about finding oneself. It’s about trust, betrayal, silent heroes in our everyday lives, sacrifices one does to prove ones loyalty not just to family but to friends as well. It’s about a journey where we discover the true meaning of love. Love that just is.

Scott Hildreth did an amazing job, I was a little conscious of the fact that he is a male author. So I was expecting some things to be way over the top (specially the sex part which I guess did happen on book 2.5) and some under. But overall, I was not disappointed and count myself to be very lucky indeed to have been chosen to win his books. Another something for me to be thankful for on Thanksgiving Day.

WOW !!! Absolutely PERFECT!

Scott, the way you explain love is absolutely PERFECT!
"I read a book once - about love that was developed and love that just is.”

Baby Girl is an emotional, extremely sexy story about how life, in my opinion, should be. All the important things in life…Trust – Love – Friendship – Loyalty – Honor – Passion - Laughter and more. This book will make you think about yourself and who you truly are. You will find yourself doing some serious soul searching while reading this book – I did, but that happens every time I read Scott’s books.

Hot amazing sex? YES! All I can say is don’t bother wearing any panties while reading this book, actually any of them… seriously…just don’t.

Erik & Kelli: honesty and trust – they are truly soul mates.
Erik: "Be yourself. Just exist. That’s all. It’s all I’ll ever want from you. Just be alive and be on my left,”
Number game: Teaching each other your ‘likes and dislikes’ are so important for a successful relationship. “I sighed. He smiled. “Eleven,” I said. “A good solid eleven,” I paused. “And I love you back.”

The entire MC - the friendship, love, brotherhood and selflessness - all regardless if family or friend, they’re always there - as it should be.
Teddy, Kindle reading, his cold beer obsession...oh, and let’s not forget his off the wall questions about a thermos or fried pickles. I just love him.
The relationship between Kelli’s father and Erik – left my heart aching for many reasons. Bunny…well, let’s just say the Easter Bunny will always have a special meaning to me.

I feel that you write from your heart and this series touched me personally on so many levels. I will carry this with me always and for that Scott, I am so very grateful. I know this type of love exist, I’ve had my “11” - I lost him to tragedy but I hope that if I keep searching maybe one day I’ll find it again. I will never give up, I will never settle, because I have a lot of love to give and I’m worth it.

Thank you so much for touching my heart and soul – once again.

This is the final book in the Baby Girl series. Kelli and Erik have moved in together and are growing closer and closer. Their relationship continues to strengthen everyday.

I adored Erik and Kelli. They both knew the minute they met that what they had was special. Once Erik finally agreed to give the relationship a try, and put his past fears behind him, he realized how much he gained by having Kelli and her father Gene in his life. Kelli was a lucky lady to have found such an amazing man. They truly have a perfect relationship and are fortunate enough to share the same interests in all areas of their relationship. They're both very passionate and continue to be adventurous.

I'd love to see more Teddy and get an update as to how all of the guys are doing. Teddy and Kelli's father Gene were both funny and entertaining characters. I've liked A-Train in every book he's been in and Bunny was a great guy too. I have no complaints about any of these characters.

Overall the Baby Girl Series was a good series with great characters. It's about friendship, family, trust, selflessness and most importantly love. It's about being brave enough to risk your heart and let love happen. There were a number of touching scenes throughout the series as well as the ones that made you laugh out loud.

As always, great job Scott Hildreth.

Where to even begin? I will start off by saying when I finished this book I was at a loss for words. This book is absolutely Scott Hildreth's best book ever! I would give it another star if Goodreads would have allowed. I read Baby Girl 1, 2 and 2.5 in two days and could not wait for this book! Thank goodness Scott doesn't make his readers wait very long and it was so worth it. Erik and Kelli really amazed me in this book they have evolved into the most amazing couple! This book had me laughing, Crying ,longing, surprised and as usual sexually exhausted "thanks Scott". I can say I will NEVER think of making my breakfast pancakes, syrup and coffee the same ever again. Or decorating for Christmas for that matter either OMG! I highly recommend this book you will LOVE it and you will not be disappointed! I could go on and on about all my favorite parts of this book but don't want to give any *SPOLIERS so you will have to read for yourself. This book has No CLIFFHANGERS and no Epilogue to leave you wondering.... but you definitely will want more of Erik and Kelly for sure! And a certain little Author birdie told me WE WILL EEEEEK!!! I love surprises. xx

Book III - Love That Just Is

Erik - "I read a book once - about love that was developed and love that just is." This completely sums up the entire journey for Erik and Kelli. This series enveloped my heart, my emotions, my thoughts. It was a roller coaster ride of self reflection, and sitting back watching what will come next for Erik and Kelli. Death, sadness, closure, dependency, faith, unbelievable sexual content. Heart warming dialog, true and honest passion! It is extremely hard to describe in words this sense of completion that took over my soul after finishing book III. I felt as if I went from start to finish with several of the characters in the series. I think I can finally breath again. The internal dialog that this series created for me personally was...well...I am still talking to myself. If I can honestly say this...AMAZING SERIES!!! Thank you Scott for taking me to the mat and bringing me back up again! You are incredible!!

Overall, I think this series deserves a solid 4 stars. Erik started out as a complete ass, and Kelli had too many TSTL moments, but what I enjoyed was Erik's progression. Learning how to love, and his acceptance of it.

Now, what was kind of intriguing, was their sexual relationship. Not your typical BDSM story, or unlike any I have ever read. A lot of people might read their interactions, and think, "seriously? WTF WAS that?" I certainly did. But it's like a car crash, you can't stop looking (reading) even though you want to.......

I did enjoy the secondary characters. Teddy had me laughing out loud, especially in this one. Everytime I see or hear about a fried pickle, I'll think of him.

This was an amazing read, the whole series has been fantastic! Loved seeing Erik and Kelli's relationship develop into what it became. Crash is hilarious, laughed out loud at some of his conversations!! Gene is a great character, never minces his words and the camaraderie he has with Erik is brilliant! Erik really changed throughout this book, he became a man that was completely happy with what he had, he became a part of a family and had love that. just. is! The ending was lovely and i really hope there will be more to come about them in the future. Brilliant series, highly recommend it!

I'm so in love with everyone from Kelli, Erik, Gene and the whole MC. I absolutely lost myself in this trilogy. I wasn't sure at first what sort of mind F*CK I had stepped into, but by the end I could see where all those poser books hoped to take you with a person, a couple and a story because this trilogy delivered you there without you really knowing. Awesome.

Loved this book, what a journey we have been on with Erik & Kelli! This was more than the previous books as we get to see a more loving and compassionate side to Erik. His love for Kelli just grabs you and makes you feel it...There is still lots of counting and Sex. Well done Mr. Hildreth.

I loved this series. It was a great ending but being the romantic I am I would have liked an epilogue with the wedding and maybe Kelli falling pregnant.
