The Byron, Box, Kerslake, Hensley and Thain years of the Heep couldn't be beat, although this book covers a lot more ground If you are a fan, this is a must read!
This is a well researched and thorough look at Uriah Heep. I've been a fan forever and there was still much in this book that I wasn't previously aware of. I'd highly recommend this to anyone who would like to know more about these veteran rockers.
At 65 years old, I still worship this band. As a Namibian from Africa, I saw them live in South Africa and at Sweden Rock, which I visit as often as possible. Met Mick Box in Camden a few years ago and a large framed picture of this meeting is in my bar. Fantastic book!!
If you are a Uriah heep fan then this is brilliant. The only thing that stopped me from giving it a 5 was the last Chapter as it was taken fron another book all about David Byron the original singer. I felt is was disrespectfull to the present singer who I feel is excellent
