entertaining paranormal cozy mystery series

This is an entertaining paranormal cozy mystery series. A fun cast of characters and an entertaining storyline. Sage Rivers is a book witch who owns a bookstore in a magical town. She has the ability to see book spirits which tells her everything about a book and what’s in it. Anything that has written text she can see and talk to a book spirit and get information from. People come to her store in need of assistance and she automatically knows what book to find them and help them in their needs. Along with her cousins and her other family in the town She is living a new happy life after growing up in the human world without magic. As the new owner of the bookstore she’s also the new keeper in town. Which is a kind of sheriff who assists the guardians which are basically the local police and investigating crimes and mysteries in the area. Read on and see what happens this time in their small town and what evil is a foot. An entertaining and always fun series.

nothing about settling into a magical town has been easy for a young witch who grew up on the human side

a treasure hunting vampire skilled with persuasion might be diverting- or perhaps be difficult

a new relationship with Hunter could be hard to balance with him out of town, and bossily alphahole. figurative ghosts of relationships past can be challenging to negotiate- absence does not necessarily make the heart grow fonder

strange new connections could be lethal, exciting or possibly both

toss in a few murders and an artistic temperament or three - fun and magical whodunnit with multiple mysteries

The story develops, with more about book witches, a vampire and a problem at the skating contest. Well written, although there were a couple of grammatical errors, and one or two typos in the Kindle edition, which did interrupt the flow a little, hence 3 stars instead of 4. There is a little too much emphasis on fashion tips, but this appears to be decreasing as the series develops, as it does interrupt the flow of the story. That said I enjoyed this one and look forward to the next on the series.

The stories get just a little better than the last one, in this series. The characters are intelligent, human-like, fun, and caring. The plot is straightforward, and the premise is threefold, stopping a poltergeist, finding out who killed the skater, and finding out how a couple died in a cold case. The answers were cryptic as most visions tend to be. I do recommend this book and the rest of the series.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. A very good mystery where a new murder has Sage investigating a cold case as well. The culprits were unexpected. As a side story, a TV show leads to a family discovery that involves Sage and her cousins which looks interesting.

Excellent 3rd book

This series is really fun. Starts off with a semi typical girl finds out she's magical, but it takes twists and turns that are a fresh look. As our heroine grows into her own, things get more exciting and her cousins join in the fun. All in all, check out this series and this book. You won't be disappointed.

Read and enjoy.

This is the third book of the series and they keep getting better and better. Sage is starting to "get" the whole witch thing and now with Piper and Rosemary becoming more central to the story arc the magic should really start to fly. Looking forward to Sage getting more magical in the next book.

A little bit more

Every day she is learning more and more about being a witch and her responsibilities. With her man out of town she's having to rely on someone else to solve a ice skater murder and a decade old ice skater couples murder. And of course she found something very interesting between her and her cousins

I like the series. I like the author. What I dislike is running a spellcheck on the book and not having an actual editor read it. REIGNS is for royalty. The King reigns. A horse has REINS not just once but multiple times. Ella’s age changes from 19 to 18 back to 19. At one point, it says his directed not his director.

Enjoyable ride

I initially picked up these books because I liked the covers, and they sounded good. I find I'm really enjoying Sage's adventures in discovering her magic. And loving the idea of a book witch.

Blood read

Book 3 has murder, a cold case murder, plenty of mystery, danger and humor. A paranormal tv star who happens to be a good vampire (so he says) and a treasure hunter comes to town, and an ice skating competition invades the Keepers life. Highly entertaining.

Books need a proofreader.

Many misspellings. Wrong word used. Words out of order. It is very distracting and unacceptable. Book should be edited. I expect better from Amazon.

caveat

I love the books, but the writer really needs a proofreader. There are so many mistakes in almost every chapter.
