Candy lives in Ayrshire, Scotland with her family and two four year old cats who still believe they are kittens. She adores fantasy fiction, especially the non-magical kind. It was her lifelong ambition to write a novel; now she has written eight and is working on an ninth.

She has a history degree, works in accountancy but would like to write full-time.

She loves cats, hates going away on holiday and when she is not writing or working she designs and makes tapestry wall hangings.

The book had potential, but was too slow for me to continue at the moment. I will have to pick it up and try again at a later date. Reminds me a lot of Nightwalker: The Midnight Detective which makes me want to try again. However, at the moment, it will have to sit aside.
