Alfie only had one intention after he persuaded Lynda to come with him into the caverns. His surprise at discovering that Lynda had the same idea quickly turned to shock when they both discovered that the cavern was home to an ancient vampire.
It had been over three thousand years since she last terrorised the settlement of Evervale. Her flock has forgotten their place, their purpose and their respect. She only had a few nights to complete her task before returning to her chamber.
