A cozy Lesbian Palace Romance about a submissive werewolf who remains in the hands of a powerful Faerie Queen.
It's been a few months since Sierra Chelsi struck her bargain with the Raven Queen and moved into the palace to become her pet. Now comfortable in her new home, the young werewolf has settled into a familiar pattern of being the fierce beast while her queen holds court and entertaining her mistress in the bedroom whenever she desires.
But recently, things have started to change. Sierra's mistress has grown distant and busy as she schemes for a mysterious magic known only as Bliss.
Further frustrating matters, Sierra's girlfriend, Lily, has been away for weeks on a secret mission in the Court of Tulips, and there's no telling when she'll return, or if she's in danger.
Nobles in the Raven Court trade whispers of a brewing war in the north, and a mysterious visitor to Featherstone might just drag Queen Varella into the conflict. Sierra is starting to finally realize the dangers of Faerie, which is full of scheming kings and queens eager to bolster their own coin and power.
But through it all, Sierra remains loyal to her owner, the mighty Faerie Queen who will need a pet werewolf at her side more than ever before. From steamy encounters to tender gifts, Sierra has no regrets about her bargain, even if it puts her life in terrible danger.
A Bargain For Bliss continues the cozy sapphic fantasy about a submissive werewolf and her mistress, the powerful Faerie Queen. It's full of wish fulfillment and faerie court drama, perfect for a leisurely read.
Autumn Wolff is a Mainer, bub. And she’s a woman of few simple interests. When she’s not writing stories about girls kissing each other, Autumn is likely reading stories about girls kissing each other, playing Dungeons and Dragons, running, or watching a movie. She and her wife live near the ocean and consume more pizza than four turtles mutated by ooze. Autumn may not have the biggest living space, and it may never have enough bookshelves, but it’s home.
Book 2 is more politics driven and I’m here for it. Politics and glamour. More characters were introduced which means more trouble which means more fun! Allegedly, there’s more books to come. Well, I’m a happy consenting adult to this bargain. Bring. It.
"I wasn't just an open book before her, but a spread of pages across the table, all my words spilled free for her to see."
I thought I loved the first book, but then this one drops and I'm more in love- hyperloved, supraloved? Not sure what's more or above love? Hahaha
This writer's narrative is some cool amalgamation of listening to your best friend rave about their new lover and an intelligent sage dropping wisdom and jokes in equal proportions. One minute is silly cuss words and funny anecdotes and the next is a quote that time stands still for to allow your brain to soak it in.
The whole bottom, subby wolf is adorable. The brat is strong with this one but the Raven Queen? She don't miss a step or an opportunity to put her werewolf in her place. I loved the plot, I enjoyed meeting the brother and his Kit, the steamy scenes will make you quite warm under the collar, and their love? I get all the warm fuzzies from their dynamic.
I super duper absolutely hope and wish on all the stars there is one more book bc I jus want more of this whole realm.
This book picks up where the first left off. The stakes are a bit steep for it to really be a cozy fantasy, but it most enjoyable and I especially liked seeing the growth of Sierra as a character and the greater prominence of her wolf aspect.
This was another fun, quick read. I really enjoyed returning to fairy and spending more time with Sierra. Less romance this time I feel. And almost no time at all with Lily, but still a fun book. There is a lot more going on in this book than the first. And none of it gets resolved because that isn't really what these books are about. It's about the slice of life story of Sierra in Fairy, not about the political machinations and conflict in fairy. Though, I wouldn't have minded more of those elements. By not really focusing on addressing these huge events that happened around Sierra, it almost feels like none of it is important, and a little like the ending was rushed and the author just picked a point and said, I'm tired of writing about this.
This book was very enjoyable, although I preferred book one. It did end abruptly obviously setting up for a third book (although the focus of book 3 doesn’t seem to be on the original main characters which is frustrating). Lots of fae politics, and a few new characters were introduced Sierra is still my favorite character, although I am less keen on the polyamory in the book.
I loved it! I need the sequel. I truly enjoyed this story. I loved the sense of humor and the action involved. Can’t wait to see what book 3 will offer.
Splendid. Exhilarating. Fantasy tale of faes and giants plus familiars. With strife by neighboring factions. We have our human heroine who happens to be a werewolf so she's not entirely human she is paranormal❗ Then we also have our fae royalty the Dark Queen Varella she in her position rules with tact and having added Sierra the werewolf to be her charge and have the access to the wolf gives her a more dominating authority when in the presence of those she feels requires it. I Loved this series❗ 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟❗
