At first I wanted to come throughout this book and shake Viv. I realized her mind was messed up from growing up seeing her mother go through this. She needed some help for her way of thinking. It all worked out, but tragedy had to happen for that though. Good read.
From a young child, Viv has had it ingrained in her that all men cheat. After meeting the man of her dreams she comes home from college to a few surprises. When she finds herself in an encounter she never imagined, will she find that mommy dearest knew best all along?
I enjoyed this short. Took me a minute to finish it due to work and family flow but it kept my interest once I picked it back up. The plot flowed and there was a lot of character development. The ending was satisfying and I liked that it is a stand alone. My only issue was the description of the main characters did not come until after I had read 20%. I am the type of reader who needs that mental picture of who I'm reading about way before drama unfolds in the plot. I feel that should have been included earlier in the plot.
I was hooked from the start. I wanted to know what was going to happen to these characters. I definitely recommend this one and look forward to future reads by Anna Black.
I really enjoyed reading this story. It started off a little slow but I like that about this book. Each time a read I try and take something from the story. Sometimes we may not have what we want when we wanted. But patience will get us there. Even though we may endure some craziness. Definitely going to recommend
No matter how many times I try and walk away, some about you that I love so much. When we first met,I always want us be forever... I enjoyed the book. Good Read Anna Continues to do you.
