(The print version and kindle version are not the same. The print version is a compilation of the kindle book and it's sequel "A funny thing happened when we took back America". It's 7" by 10" and has 215 pages. The kindle version is still sold in two parts, the first book and it's sequel, for .99.)
This was one town that didn't go quietly into the night when the UN troops arrived to begin the NWO takeover! The story follows a handful of people through the events, including two families from opposite sides of the social spectrum, and a team of army soldiers who are reluctantly carrying out orders -- until enough is enough!
"I started writing this as a spoof story, but when I got to the part where the soldiers were going door-to-door, it didn't seem so funny any more. I felt myself shift into more of a patriotic "save America" mood, and it shows in the story. It's still funny and entertaining. but it goes a little deeper."
Not too deep though! This is light reading and mostly free of profanity. The sequel is now available on amazon.com for "A Funny Thing Happened When We Took Back America!"
This book was okay. I mainly read it because the title worked for so many challenges. The premise was interesting - NATO forces take over the U.S. military and start invading people's homes to confiscate guns and food. Kind of like Red Dawn. It was okay and I liked Corporal Paltry.
