Maggie is everything you would expect of a young woman in her position. She is upstanding, reserved, charitable and knows how she should behave. But she is virtually alone. Her past tries to keep her there while the present shoots her forward in a story that will keep you wondering if she can do what she needs to in order to step out of her past and make her future a reality.
I tend to be bit of a recluse so writing an "about me" is a hard. I spend my time reading memoirs, writing the lives of the people in my head, and cooking what I can find at the farmer's market.
I was raised in the same town in which I now live with my partner and soul mate collecting books that we no longer have room for. I met her at the school that is up the street from our home and we have been inseparable ever since.
I have to say that this book over all was pretty good. I really liked the story line over all, there was just thing that I had a little problem with and that was a little confusing was when it would change the point of view between characters of who was talking and telling their story. But other that I thought that it was good. I got this book through Goodreads First-Reads.
