Actual rating: 4 and a half stars bcuz the muddy art style still gets to me
-I really like IDW's take on Grimlock. A lot of media made him the "dumb comic relief side character", but IDW flipped that by making him a gladistor veteran and someone who is capable of losing control and causing great harm, but who tries to hold himself back because he doesn't wish to harm anyone.
-I also like the distrust between Optimus and Dai Atlas. Dai Atlas's whole thing is peace and, after living in the previous Autobot regime, of COURSE he's going to be skeptical of Zeta's former police officer now being the new Prime and ruling Cybertron. I think he gets a lot of hate, but honestly, I can see where he's coming from. It's good to be skeptical of politicians, no matter how good they may seem (I love Zohran Mamdani and pray to GOD that he can somehow be president one day, but I am going to watch him like a fucking HAWK bcuz it also just seems too good to be true).
-Okay okay, last glazing moment, trust. I like stories where we see Optimus struggling to be a leader. Optimus is meant to be a symbol or hope and future for the Autobots, but he can't be a perfect symbol if he's still his own sentient being with his own emotions. I like seeing his personal struggles with leadership and him having to have guidance to this new role from Alpha Trion, and seeing all the bullshit that he as a young leader has to face

-Artwork feels a little less muddy than Autocracy. Yippieeee! (All they needed to do was add more prominent outlines)
-Swindle is always catching strays, omg. First being beaten up by Orion Pax, then being used as an example of the Vampiric weapon, and now being beaten up by Grimlock. You know what? I'm gonna keep a track record of the shit Swindle goes through
-Swindle's bullshit #1: being beaten up by Orion Pax
-Swindle's bullshit #2: being used as an example for the vampiric weapon by Zeta Prime
-Okay, ik Skorponok is like a serious villain in this comic, but the first time I saw him was when he was pregnant. Now, everytime I see him, I think, "Wait, aren't you the transformers that got pregnant with a half human half cybertronian baby?" and then it becomes difficult to be intimidated by him bcuz of how fucking weird that was
-Skorponok dumps Megatron's body on Junkion, smthn that I think was referenced in Wheelie's spotlight but idc for Wheelie so I didn't bother rereading it or going back to check. He dumps Megatron's "lifeless" body on Junkion as "a lesson to all the other Decepticons" bcuz he wants to rule them now. Lemme tell you: Skorponok does NOT have the same aura as Megatron 💀💀💀💀
-Megatron's line on Junkion "not dead, but broken", mirrors Optimus's line when he was becoming a Prime in Autocracy :000
-I like that the Junkiens (or whatever they call themselves) speak in rhymes. It's fun
