I read this with one of my good Muslim friends, and I think that we now both understand each other a little better.

Former Muslims can often avoid straw man arguments as they better understand the doctrine of Islam.

What I Liked
This book is a powerful treasure trove of knowledge and wisdom. Written by two men who converted to Christianity from Islam, their perspective of how to share the Gospel and understand the culture and religion of Muslims is so good. I learned so much about what Muslims believe and how they view the world and how to approach them with my own faith in a loving and gentle way.

What I Didn't Like
The format of this book is stuffy. With ghost-writers, I feel that the book could have been organized in a way that is both informative and more interest-catching.

Though we wouldn't agree with the Caners' somewhat negative view of Reformed Theology, this is still a valuable work by two men, raised Muslim, now both in the Christian ministry, who respond well to Islam's "challenges" regarding Christianity.

A great book. The authors are knowledgeable, especially considering their background, and they really put forward objective information. Worth the time!
