Hello Everyone! My name is Pamela Kazmierczak and I am an author of several nonfiction books.
The majority of my books are cookbooks, as I love to cook for my husband and my two children, and I wanted to share the recipes with other busy people out there. I also publish other non fiction books about topics that interest me as well.
50 Christmas Candy Recipes by Pamela Kazmierczak Starts with table of contents where recipes are broken up into candy categories. Short intro about the holiday season.. Each recipe starts with a title, short summary of the dish and list of ingredients. You might be able to substitute for your healthier dietary needs: low fat, low sugar, low sodium alternatives. Directions are given and servings suggestions. There are NO pictures. There is NO nutritional information. There are NO servings listed.
What a great cookbook! It has everything I want to make: brittle, different kinds of fudge, a good variety of bark(s). My grandsons are going to have more chocolate to eat this Christmas than they have ever had. :) But seeing they are teenagers, I'm sure they will manage. :)
The recipes are easy to follow and many of them use the microwave so no standing over a hot stove with a candy thermometer trying to get the candy up to the right temperature. I LIKE that as standing is not easy for me anymore.
There are 10 types of fudge recipes including one for eggnog fudge which I am going to try out. I am also intrigued with the Cranberry Fudge recipe. Hazelnut toffee, old-fashioned caramel, it's all in here! I just wish I had downloaded the book on Kindle weeks ago so I would have already made some of the candy and how it turned out.
Excellent source for candy recipes- fudge, brittle, toffee, truffles, barks
Wonderful recipes for candy. Easy to follow instructions and inexpensive ingredients. Packaged nicely, any of these would be a beautiful gift for friends and loved ones! One suggestion is photos. They give us the confidence in the finished product. Thank you for the recipes!
