This is the first box set of the Titan series, which includes the first five stories:
Book 1: Winters Heat Book 2: Garrison’s Creed Book 3: Westin's Chase Book 3.1: Gambled Book 3.2: Chased
WINTERS HEAT: After putting her life on the line to protect classified intelligence, military psychologist Mia Kensington is on a cross-country road trip from hell with an intrusive save-the-day hero. She’d rather take her chances without the ruggedly handsome, cold-blooded operative who boasts an alpha complex and too many guns.
Colby Winters, an elite member of The Titan Group, has a single objective on his black ops mission: recover a document important to national security. It was supposed to be an easy in-and-out operation. But now, by any means necessary becomes a survival mantra when he faces off with a stunning woman he can’t leave behind.
When Titan’s safe houses are compromised, Colby stashes Mia at his home, exposing his secret—he’s the adoptive father of an orphaned baby girl. Too soon, danger arrives and Mia lands in the hands of a sadistic cartel king with a taste for torture. As hours bleed into fear-drenched days, Colby races across the globe and through a firestorm of bullets to save the woman he can’t live without.
GARRISON'S CREED: Nicola is an injured CIA agent on the run from a failed undercover operation. Her escape plan shatters when she slams into the man who buried her a decade ago. Cash Garrison. Her first and only love. Now, sexier than her best memory and cradling a sniper’s rifle, he has questions she can’t answer. Why was she alive? And armed?
Cash is an elite member of a black ops organization, The Titan Group. He thought Nicola died his senior year of college and swore off love to focus on a decade of military missions. But when she shows up behind enemy lines, bleeding out and wielding a weapon, his heart and mind are unsure how to proceed.
Titan and the CIA join forces to uncover a mole hidden in a network of international terrorists and homegrown mobsters, teaming Cash and Nicola againWhen disaster strikes, Nicola’s hidden past makes her the hunted target and Cash’s best kill shot may not be enough to save them.
WESTIN'S CHASE: Jared Westin knows his reputation and likes it. He gets the job done. No emotion. No baggage. That’s why his elite ops company, The Titan Group, is better than the best. They complete projects classified as mission impossible.
And then, in walks a woman as tough as she is sexy. His counterpart in every way, should he choose to admit it.
Ousted undercover ATF agent Lilly Chase only answers to “Sugar.” Jared is the only man who can see past her leather-and-lipstick demeanor, and that revelation is terrifying. She was fired for helping Titan on a questionable arrest she should’ve ignored, then partnered with Jared’s rival on an assignment in Afghanistan.
Saving Sugar isn’t a normal rescue operation. It pits Titan against its rival, Jared against his nemesis. Chasing Sugar’s heart isn’t a simple task, either. She fights him, fights them, always ready to run. Jared must risk his life to save her—the woman whose bravado and surprising sweetness has given him the one thing he never had. Love.
GAMBLED: Brock Gamble's epic fall from the Titan Group labeled him a traitor, then his wife walks out the door. Can the couple survive if the only chance of redemption is a fall further into a world of guns and kidnappings?
CHASED: Jenny Chase and Asher McIntyre - can two hearts on opposite career paths survive while Asher's enemy seeks to destroy them both?
Cristin Harber is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling romance author. She writes sexy romantic suspense, military romance, and new adult. Fans voted her onto Amazon's Top Picks for Debut Romance Authors in 2013, and her debut Titan series was both a #1 romantic suspense and #1 military romance bestseller.
Each Titan and Delta book can be read as a standalone (except for Sweet Girl), but readers will likely best enjoy the series in order. The Only series must be read in order.
7 Brides for 7 Soldiers: Ryder (#1) - Barbara Freethy Adam (#2) - Roxanne St. Claire Zane (#3) - Christie Ridgway Wyatt (#4) - Lynn Raye Harris Jack (#5) - Julia London Noah (#6) - Cristin Harber Ford (#7) - Samantha Chase
A MUST READ series for romantic suspense readers. If you've never read a romantic suspense book and would like to give one a try, start here, you won't be disappointed. Each book in the series is a sexy, fast-paced, action-packed, high-octane, kick-ass read. Do you like alpha men and strong women that keep their men on their toes? Do you like some sizzle with your action? Then Cristin Harber's Titan series is for you. This is definitely one of my all-time favorite series.
Note: The boxed set does not include Sweet Girl. I would highly recommend picking it up as it is the prequel to Garrison's Creed, the second book in the series. Last I checked sweet Girl was free, but even if it isn't, grab it at what ever price it's at. It is so worth it!
Story is filled with suspense, violence, amazing main and secondary characters, twists, romance and some steam.
Heat level 4 out of 5. No cheating, no cliffhanger, and HEA. Lord's name used in vain and crude words. It's what you'd expect in a military story.
2, GARRISON'S CREED - 5 STARS
I purchased this as a box set called THE TITAN SERIES: Set 1, loved the first book and this one too. This one had more suspense, twists and surprises that I didn't expect.
The story has crossover characters and could be a standalone. But I think you would enjoy getting to see how the team interacts.
Lovemaking outside of marriage, heat level 4 out of 5. Crude words and Lord's name used in vain. But I don't think I've read a military story that doesn't have that.
What I enjoyed about both these stories, is the teamwork. They actually go out and work missions. This isn't a story where they've retired and what they did was over. It made you feel you were part of the mission, with all his hills and valleys.
No cheating, no cliffhanger, HEA, romantic, sadness, joy, steam and a fantastic story. These are two people who have been apart for 10 years. Of course, they are going to have history with other people. I didn't feel they threw it in each other's faces, as some have felt. They went on with their lives.
I can't improve on the blurb, just giving you extra tidbits to decide whether to purchase.
3. WESTIN'S CHASE - 4 STARS
3.5 STARS -ROUNDED UP
Books 1 & 2 are my favorites so far. One reason this one didn't click with me is the h-Sugar. From not liking her name or her. I didn't care that she slept with one of the guys on the team (book 2), and this didn't bother the H at all?
I never felt a connection to them so when they have sex - it's just that sex, which is plenty of times. Heat level 4+ out of 5. The Lord's name used in vain and crude words many times. This had a sadness to it because of what someone on the team does. Why he didn't talk it over with the H was ridiculous.
Story has a lot of suspense, twists, intrigue, violence, nasty villains, HEA, little on romance and steam. My rating is higher due to the intricates of the story.
I can't improve on the blurb. just giving you extra tidbits to decide whether to purchase. Story can be a standalone, with crossover characters.
4. GAMBLED - 3 STARS
I would suggest you read book 3 first, Westin's Chase, first. This is a continuing story of what happened to Brock after he betrayed his team, and his marriage.
This should have been a longer story, with the H/h having more reciliation. Their time apart to figure things out is very short and forgiveness happens a little too quickly.
Lovemaking, within marriage, heat level 4 out of 5.
Some violence and suspense, little romance, story on second chances, HEA and steam. Lord's name used in vain and crude words.
I can't improve on the blurb, just giving you extra tidbits to decide whether to purchase.
5. CHASED - 3 STARS
I enjoyed the first three in this set. The scene sets up that the MC were neighbors for years and the h has loved him forever. Then we find out he liked her too, but his career took off and the h wasn't thought of. I just didn't feel a connection to this couple. Everything just seemed to be on the surface.
Lovemaking, outside of marriage - heat level 5 out of 5. We go from zero to 50 in seconds with their connection.
No cheating, no cliffhanger for our MC, but one of the Titan men is left hanging, some drama, little on romance, mostly lust, HEA, small part with the Titan Group. Lord's name and crude words used. Not as much in the other books. (ljb)
I fell in love with the heroes and admired the heroines. This author took each story and each couple and showed you their personality and all aspects the good the bad the ugly. She showed the development and growth of the characters as the story progressed. I fell in love with t hem each and every 1 of them had such a side The plots were invented and the solutions were just as inventive. I never knew what trick the author pulled out of her bag.
This was a wonderful series with amazing characters. The sexual chemistry was on fire, the alpha males were extremely protective and the women were feisty as hell. Each book has its own unique story but they all tie into each other like all great series do. The narration was absolutely brilliant and consistent. It was easy to be drawn into each story as it was brought to life. I highly recommend this series!
Oh wow, what a delightful read. All alpha males beating their chests. Haha jokes on them when they fell hard for hot sassy ladies. All of them on their knees. This author really knows how to play the alpha card. I loved that each story was different from each other. Thank you so much for an awesome read
Enjoyed the series although it was a bit predictable for me. More substance, less sex. I enjoy the hot scenes as well as the next gal, it’s one of the reasons I read these alpha male books, but I need more build up and more details with boots on the ground! I will continue to read the series with hopes that they get a little more in depth.
These first 5 books were great to really get started on the full series, although you can't forget about the prequel between Winter's Heat and Garrison's Creed (Sweet Girl), which is not part of this box set. Jeffrey Kafer is a wonderful and fitting choice as the narrator for this series.
Great idea to have the first 5 stories in Titan's series all together... Winter's is first, followed by Cash and Nic, into Westin and Sugar, Brock and Sarah and ending with Jenny and Asher. Loved reading them all back to back. Now onto Rocco, Roman and Parker Happy Reading!!
Truly enjoyed each of these stories! I've got the 5 book Delta Series (more good stuff) - which experience recommended the Titan Series. The writing is GOOD. (SOMETIMES, you get GREAT editors, too!) The stories grab you, sit you down and you get lost in the adventures of your newest friends!I Thank you for your time, talent and THE STORIES!
Love the Titan Series books by Cristin Harber. I'm rereading them because they are so awesome!!! Don't miss them. Thrilling, suspenseful, hot, sexy ex special forces hero's. Plus just as hot, exciting, sexy women that kick butt.
Great book . Really enjoyed this series. Lots of action and unexpected events. Great characters. In some cases almost too descriptive with details but great stories.
I love this entire series!! Watching each of the strong alpha men find their other half to figure out they have fallen for the one has been exhilarating, funny, with a huge splash of suspense.
Do NOT get this boxed set!! Read the books individually. The stories are great but in the boxed set, all the stories abruptly end three quarters of the way through the story. The 3rd book, Westin's Chase, litterally ended mid sentence. 😡😡😡 It is frustrating as hell and majorly pissed me off! 😡
Thos book is.packed with a series.of great stories. I loved all the women in this series. All had some kick butt attitudes and stood.up to the men. Loved it
These stories are the best of the best. I have read and reread this series at least four times now. Decided to get the box sets and reread them again. Thank you. Keep writing and I will keep reading.
This was a nice start to this series! The length of each one is inconsistent. Each character is strong. The heroes are flawed and hot. The heroines are definitely no push overs, which was refreshing.
Say is WOW. Each of the stories has been wanting to find out more. I loved the writing and was happy to see love A part of making each of the guys and girls happier.
This was a good series all the characters are strong and loyal to each other. The stories flow from one to another. I would recommend this series to anybody who loves romance and suspense.
This book is packed full of action and suspense! The romance is off the charts. Cristin Harber did a great job writing this book. I would read of her books - no problem!
Great set with engaging characters. Lots of action and fantastic chemistry between the couples. Wonderful way to meet all the guys of Titan. Loved it!!
I enjoyed reading this series but I did have to skip over the prologue in the first book. I did not want to hear about hostages being handled, it was too much for me.
