Acquired from the take a book, leave a book at Hayes Station and returned there forthwith. The cover compared this with Helen MacInnes but MacInnes's novels are full of warmth and humour while this was the kind of thriller where all the characters are horrible including the protagonist.

Read to about page 130 then began to lose interest. skipped to near the end.
