WOW WEEE, His to Claim was one SCORCHING hot romance and I LOVED every moment!

This story starts off with the heroine Melanie working in a coffee shop. She just recently quit her job working at Rainer Enterprises, because she was desperately in love with Rafe, her boss. This is a BIG step down from the job she just quit, but Melanie is trying to make a new life with more freedom to figure out just what she really wants out of life. Her birthday rolls along and her best friend Jessica, who just happens to work at Rainer Enterprises and is Rafe’s ex girlfriend , gives Melanie a gift card for her to get a tattoo, something that Melanie has always wanted, but would never spend the money on. When Melanie goes to the tattoo shop, she runs into Rafe who happens to be getting a tattoo too. Rafe can tell that Melanie is nervous so he offers to sit with her while she gets her tattoo done. At this point, I immediately fell in love with Rafe too.

Rafe comes from a rich family, but he did not have the perfect life you would think he’d have had. The back story here was well written and explains a lot about why Rafe is the way he is. Rafe was the lead guitarist for a rock band and he is known by the name of Storm. He loves being in a rock band but quits and joins his brother Dane in running the family business. He is a billionaire, EXTREMELY SEXY, rides a motorcycle and has many tattoos that are easily hidden under his perfectly fitting work suits.

I loved reading about these two, how they finally got together, and how they helped each other figure out their dreams for the future and how they achieved them. My emotions were totally engaged, the story line and ALL characters were excellently done. I loved that there was humor, and gut wrenching moments too. One thing that I felt was particularly well done was explaining about Melanie’s talents, this really added a lot of interest to the overall story for me.

THIS IS AN EROTIC ROMANCE and let me tell you it’s a complete SCORCHER! There are many of heated moments and I loved reading every single one. Just a warning, for those of you who DO NOT enjoy reading a consensual love scene with more than the hero and heroine participating, this book is not for you. This particular scene is one of the reasons my heat level is 5 stars so be prepared for your panties to get wet while reading all of the HOT scenes.

In the end, we are treated to a lovely epilogue that wraps up Rafe and Melanie’s story on a very good note. I’m really looking forward to reading more of Opal Carew’s books. She writes stories that are absolutely the perfect type of romances for me.

I had no idea that there was a previous book, His to Possess written, and despite this fact I was able to read and follow His to Claim without any problems. I HIGHLY recommend His to Claim to all erotic readers who love a sexy alpha male, billionaire, rock star, motorcycle riding, tattooed hero. I definitely plan to read His to Possess and any other book that may be written in this series.

This might have been a better book if all the work that went into the many, many sex scenes would have gone into developing the story. Long involved back stories are given in one sentence while the sex scenes take up pages and pages. There’s gratuitous sex and then there’s this book. I feel like the author sacrificed the story and all the characters at the alter of more copulation.

4 HOT & SEXY STARS

Rafe Ranier is Melanie's old boss. When he stops by the coffee shop to ask her why she left, she can't tell him the truth. That she just couldn't be around him anymore because she'd fallen helplessly in love with him and he had been in love with her best friend Jessica, who is now marrying his brother, Dane.

Well the book goes on to a tangled web of misunderstandings, miscommunications and two people falling in love, but scared of what it means. Mostly Rafe. But the best part of the story is that Rafe is also a Rock Star. He'd taken some time to find himself and that's how he'd met Jessica, who is also sister to the lead singer in the bad, Savage Kiss. Travis doesn't know who Storm aka Rafe really is. But he's made it his mission to steal every girl away from Storm to keep him from doing to them what he did to Jessica. Well, he sets his sights on Melanie, even offering her a job as a Roadie when she's fired from her job as a Barista, which is probably the best thing that could have ever happened to her.

What happens on the road, when Storm shows up is just yummy, and that's all I'm going to say.

I liked the set of novellas, as they are turned into a full novel here. I would definitely read this author again. I would like to read a full novel with more emersion into the story than a set of novellas turned into a book, to see what she could do with more depth into their world. But this was a great inro for me to this author.

I love a Rock Star Romance and love A Dominate story. The two together worked here.

We all remember Melanie from the first book - His To Possess - and how she was so unhappily in love with her sexy boss Rafe.

description

And now that she's not working for him anymore, she thinks she can finally move on. But then they meet again and it turns out that he's not only this sexy billionaire businessman, nope - he's also the smoking hot guitar player in a famous rock band - tattoos, Harley and all!!! ☺

Rafe can now admit to himself that he was always attracted to her, but he didn't want to start something while she was still working for him. That would've made it a bit uncomfortable at work once he broke it off. Because that's what he does. He doesn't have time for anything serious. But he can't get Melanie out of his head.

And now she's going on tour with his band?????

Well, if he can't stay away from her - or she from him - they have to make the best of the situation ☺

description

And they do - but Melanie doesn't want to get her hopes up - Rafe, or Storm as he's called when he's with the band, wants nothing serious!

WHAT WiLL HAPPEN TO MELANiE & RAFE???
WiLL THE TWO OF THEM GET THEiR HEA???
WiLL THERE BE A HORRiBLE CLiFFHANGER???

description

NOPE . . . I'M NOT TELLiNG YOU ☺

description

I don't want to spoil anything!!!

(OK, there's no cliffhanger, of course - but that's all I'm telling you!)

You HAVE to love a book that not only has a sexy bad boy rock star, but also a sexy billionaire businessman.☺ And here we have those two things in ONE SINGLE GUY!!!

*fangirl-swoon*

The only thing that could top this for me would be if Rafe was also a former Navy SEAL ;)))

I really enjoyed this book!

I was looking forward to reading Melanie & Rafe's story. I was so sad for her in the first book - she was soo unhappily in love with Rafe and he was in love with her friend Jessica :(

But now Jessica is getting married to Rafe's brother and Melanie finally gets her chance!

It was really adorable to see how they finally got together - it takes them a while - it takes Rafe a while to get over his problems....but it's sooo worth it - and it was reallllly hot too!!!!

Phew! Very very sexy!

His to Claim is an Adult, Erotic Romance written by Opal Carew. In exchange for an honest review, I was gifted a copy from the St. Martin's Press through NetGalley.

3 Sexy Yet Wavering Stars!

The Review:
This is a six part serial combined into one full length novel. I’m not a huge fan of serials so I was excited when I saw this was a combined book and I wouldn’t have to wait for any of the story parts to be published before being able to read it in full. I jumped all over it because the blurb sounded awesome and I’m a fan of this author. And honestly, there were many parts in this story that I really enjoyed. It was sexy, supremely hot in some places and it deliciously sweet in others. I also liked the idea of Melanie getting in touch with her inner bad girl and living out her fantasies. I also really enjoyed the band, Savage Kiss, and their members. I loved Rafe/Storm. He was steamy and his possessive yet open mind blew me away.

Here’s where my disappointment comes in. The whole situation was confusing and sticky.

Melanie leaves her corporate lifestyle to work as a barista because she’s in love with her boss who sees her as nothing more than an employee. She also wants to become an artist and shy away from the structured life her parents mapped out for her. But she goes about this in a bad way. She’s broke, she’s drifting and she seems lost. She doesn’t seem to have any control and she’s floundering. She might be living out some of her sexual fantasies but her life has taken a downward turn. She just had no direction.

Rafe comes to visit her at her new work place to find out why she left, in hopes of reconnecting with her as they were good friends when she was working for him. Suddenly he sees her in a new light and recognizes feelings he thought didn’t exist.

But Melanie gets an opportunity to go on the road with Storm’s band, Savage Kiss... without Storm! She goes, even though her long time crush has suddenly found her interesting and he lets her go. She finds an attraction to two other men and then there’s a yummy foursome involved. All the while, Rafe/Storm is getting past the loss of his ex who’s marrying his brother. See, sticky!

Maybe I missed something, but it felt like all the characters were drifting. No one knew where they were going. Rafe/Storm’s name changes kept me wondering which guy I was going to get in which scene. And Melanie not being able to hold her panties up kind of grated on my nerves because she longed for Rafe for years and the moment she gets him, she leaves to “find herself”, which I totally understand but she can’t be on the road with two hot guys paying her loads of attention without subcoming to their charms and sultry kisses? Yeah, ok, I probably wouldn’t have either, but I expected more from my heroine.

I love angsty books. I love characters who believe “sharing is caring” because lets face it. Three guys and one girl is effing hot. But what I don’t like are characters who are indecisive and who are still floundering when the story ends and I felt Melanie was that kind of heroine. And much like Melanie, this story had very little direction.

I guess I just wanted more from the actual story itself.

If I was to base this on the steam factor alone, it would rate a solid four stars! But with such a distracting story that left me unsatisfied, I had to come down in my rating. I still enjoyed it but again, I wanted more. I still very much love this author and I’ll be going on to read more of her work because she’s awesome and her stories give me the happies! This one just didn’t do it for me.

The Book Wrangles

This book was provided by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review

Refer to Goodreads synopsis.

The Best Thing:
There were moments of hotness that definitely got the blood flowing. The chemistry between Melanie and Rafe/Storm was extreme. Then you have a hot little triangle that really caught my attention and left me wondering where it would leave their relationship afterwards.

The Worst Thing:
There were things in this series that just bugged me.
I read the first short story by itself (not from the above serials that were combined) and let's just say I was sorely disappointed. I decided to read the entire first collection of books, hoping that the story of Melanie and Rafe would become better and it did, but not enough for me to suggest this to anyone.

First, I had an issue with the name switch. We are introduced to Rafe as a successful businessman who may or may not have been into Melanie, his secretary. As the story carries on Melanie begins to refer to Rafe as Storm once she realizes he's a member of up and coming band. My problem with this is...throughout the story the businessman and the rock star is that same person, but as he makes appearances Melanie starts calling him Storm (even when he's not performing). As a reader you never really know which one you're going to get.
 photo tumblr_n01ny8EkPO1t0my59o1_400_zpsa386f9c2.gif
Can anyone say whiplash.

Second, I had an issue taking Melanie seriously. She ran from a great job because she loved Rafe and couldn't be around him, but blamed it on needing more time to focus on her art. Then she lands a barista job that doesn't allow her time to focus on her craft, and she ends up with Rafe anyway. Finally, she throws her weight in with the band and travels around as their assistant so she can be inspired and start drawing and selling her work. **This just seems sooooo unrealistic...she's all over the place.**
 photo 1_zpsd3b55c24.gif

Third and last, the switch with Rafe from [I'm not sure how I feel about Melanie, but I definitely don't want a relationship and I definitely don't love her] to the new 'Storm' [I want Melanie and no one else and I think I love her now. She's mine] Yeah...that ish is just confusing. This wasn't a smooth transition, if anything I thought that maybe Storm and Rafe were actually different people because they totally wanted two different things.

Overall: Not the best book in the bunch.

This was just okay for me - I hadn't read any of the previous connected books, so I wasn't familiar with either character in advance, but I don't think that really mattered anyways. It was honestly more smut than anything, so you never really feel connected with the characters. And the plot isn't exactly believable, although it does become predictable.

So Rafe is Melanie's former boss, but he's also "Storm" and a member of a popular rock band. When I first heard this, I assumed it was a local band. I mean how many successful headlining touring bands do you know that have a lead member who is a billionaire and works a successful full-time corporate job as well? Yeah, that's not how it works in the music business (I use to work in the business). So that part was totally unbelievable. Once you make it big, you'd have to decide between the two and I doubt they'd just let you jump back in when you have the time to play.

And then there's Melanie, who quit her job as Rafe's secretary because she liked him too much and wanted to find herself and pursue her art career. So she becomes a barista and then does nothing with her art? Seriously? That's just a total lack of motivation and didn't make any sense. Yeah, she lusted after her boss, but with her normal hours corporate job, she could have still gone to night school or something, especially since she was making good money there versus that of a barista. Yet another unbelievable part of the plot - it just made her look stupid. And what was up with the long descriptions of nail polishes and painting her nails? *yawn*

Then there's the part where she ends up kissing two of his band mates, yet she's claiming she's in love with Rafe and only wants him. Really? Doesn't sound like she liked him that much if she was willing to cheat on him (I considered it cheating since they hadn't technically broken up). Now, what comes after this was totally hot, but predictable.

There was one part towards the end where we really begin to see how much Melanie cares for Rafe when she doesn't want to leave his side. I began feeling a connection between them at this point, but that wasn't until the end of the book and by then, it was too little too late for me to connect with them.

I will also note that the narrator for the audio book was terrible. It was almost as if she was given a time she had to finish reading by and so she rushed through the book to get it all in. It was like one big run-on sentence listening to her. That didn't help with my enjoyment of the book, but regardless, this book still lacked a whole lot of substance and was just a smutty erotic read (not that I have anything against that, but when you're expecting a book with a romance story thrown in, it's disappointing to only get non-stop sex scenes).

Opal Carew’s HIS TO CLAIM Doesn’t Lack for Polish — NAIL Polish

Originally appeared http://fangswandsandfairydust.com/201...

Career choices and BDSM are examined along with a boss manicure.

Well, I would say this was one of the worst books I ever read or listened to, but the narrator was competent, and the characters were fairly well developed. But, the billionaire businessman/and rock star and the poor girl is just way overdone unless it is stellar and has something new it is not for me. There’s a BDSM subplot that is pretty amateuri to my mind. There’s talk of D/s but no agreement to terms or safeword. There’s some big time kink in it though. While I still enjoy BDSM books, there have just been too many with this nearly the same set up.

Oh yes, there is something new and unusual, descriptions of nail polish and it’s application . But the weirdness of this particularly trite detail wasn’t enough to make me sing its praises.. Seriously, I do my nails probably a little more than average but, I don’t describe it in detail to my husband or friends.

I also found the sex and the male character’s ego and his commitment issues, and need for sex to soothe his ego ridiculous. Nor did I enjoy the sex scenes. While some of the action might have been novel and passionate the writing was not.

I forced myself to get through it but HIS TO CLAIM did absolutely nothing for me, except check my own nails for chips and snags!

Read this book as a serial so I will do the review by its parts

1 - I read the first book/serial His to Posses and remember Jessica (her bff) and Dane (his bro) but I don't remember Melanie. I feel like I should. That being said...this was a nice start to the serial. I like where it ended with a knock on the door. Now on to the second installment

2- Oh boy. Hot rocker sex. Now is it a relationship or fling? Curious readers what to know.

3- Uh Oh...the feces has hit the oscillator. (the sh** has hit the fan)

4-A drunk Diego is not a good friend to have.

5-Why do guys give you want and then get all stupid because they did it? Really Storm. Now this one ended with a cliffhanger. And I don't have part 6 yet. Tears.

6- Great conclusion to a great serial. I enjoyed Rafe/Storm and Melanie. Glad to see Storm find his Dom side. Now are there any plans for Travis or Diego to get their own HEA...

When Melanie walked away from her boss Rafe Ranier it was because of the feelings she had kept under wraps for two years. Melanie had always carried a torch for Rafe, but he seemed oblivious and at one point more interested in her best friend. However now that she has moved on with her life in a new job and exploring what her next step will be he reenters her life.

Rafe has been dabbling with his band Savage Kiss. He quickly begins to realize that Melanie might like him more than a friend and acts on it. However Rafe is more interested in living in the moment and not looking for a relationship. When he realizes that with no strings that leaves Melanie to explore other options he reigns her in. Now that she is touring with the band though everything changes and Rafe has to decide if he wants to hold on or let go.

Melanie quits her comfortable well paying job to get away from her boss. For too long she's had feelings for him and the pain of not having those feelings reciprocated is too much, so Melanie sets out to work on her bucket list. Through a series of chance meetings, her coffee shop, and a tattoo parlor, Melanie is reminded why it was so important to get say from Rafe in the first place.

Rafe is back in the corporate world after spending a year pursuing his music. He was devastated when his secretary had quit, and now seeing her outside of the office, he wonders why he never gave her more attention.

This was a quick read, and I am looking forward to the next one. I believe this book is the beginning of the second set of stories in a series, although I didn't feel lost at all having not read the first. So far the chemistry is great, and the story looks promising. 3 stars

Now, this is what I am talking about!! The fact that it is a novel is so much better. It is more fluent and didn't feel choppy. I am not sure if that is the correct description. Rafe is a very real strong character and has a lot to work through. This is a good read and has some differences in the serial novella series that are very quite this author. The type of writing THIS AUTHOR HAS IS VERY VERY GOOD. I am happy it is alla down to one book

Good ending to this book so much better than the novellas ending.

I received this ARC from the publisher for an honest review Thank You, Net Galley!

DNF. My suspension of disbelief was crushed by maybe a 1/4 in by the story being just so uninformed about everything! The tattoo appointment scene was hard to read, by the heroine quitting her job to work at a coffee place for "freedom" in a big city? Honey, she she would have to have like seven jobs. No one signs up for a minimum wage job if you don't have to, and no one can survive on that without other income or someone else supporting you.

I really don't mind books that are thinly veiled excuses for smut, but why make the story so outlandish then? My head goes sideways when I try to figure out how the bandmates can be so interconnected but *have no idea*! Then it's not even a big deal when all the secrets are revealed? Why would you leave all that dramatic capital on the table like that?

The smut is Carew's strength. She's got that down, and I give her a nice thumbs up for those parts. High-five, Opal.

The tattoo thing really bothered me as someone relatively heavily tattooed. Getting a tattoo takes forever. Even if the artist is ready for you when you get to the appointment, it still takes like a half hour to get started (placement, assessment, discussion on size, etc). Then the actual tattoo process also takes a long time. So we're talking sinking like three hours into like a medium size tattoo- Melanie would have had to be at minimum two hours early for her appointment in order for that scene to work- assuming Rafe's tattoo was pretty small.

Next- tattoos are really gross for two weeks after getting them. They start out bloody, then get slimy and weepy, they are sore and then get horribly itchy. You're covered in ointment and lotion and it scabs and peels.

I think they are crazy sexy when all healed (again, I am pretty covered in tattoos), but the healing is remarkably yucky and involved. Not at all sexy. And putting a mouthful of beer anywhere near a fresh tattoo is not only gross, but asking for an infection. All I could think when I was reading that was - wait- is he tasting bacitracin? Is her boob a giant scab and he's got his mouth on it? Grosssssssssss

Overall I quite liked this book!
I DNF'd the "first" in this series, but the blurb on this one interested me - I love [ironically] the workplace romances - but REALLY appreciated this one where the heroine decides she can't keep on as she is AND SHE QUITS and the book starts AFTER SHE'S QUIT AND HAS ANOTHER JOB.

I also liked how realistically her financial situation was discussed - as a barista, on the probationary period at her job - she really doesn't have a budget for stuff.
I had a bit of a twinge at how suddenly she decided to get the tattoo but I think it was just written in a way that didn't convey how long she'd been thinking about it.

ANYWAY...

What I didn't like was the near schizo way we see Storm/Rafe and like ... it was a lot. Not that one person does so much [hello fiction and just OTT whatever] - but her name switching and shit.

Wasn't in love with how "dumb blond" the heroine was a lot of the time ... but most of it wasn't too bad.
I ALMOST wanted something to happen with her and the other band member(s) before Storm/Rafe got there ... but I know they were technically still together although in a not great spot, so I'm actually glad it DIDN'T happen.

Was disappointed by the

And then the end - cute but ... a bit of an eyeroll. I liked that the hero was uncertain but I didn't love the wishywashyness of it, as in I felt [Jessica?] had too much sway.

Still, we have a [until the very end?] very sweet nice hero - who doesn't have his mental shit together. I think he got a loooot of leeway because the heroine had already been in love with him.

As unrealistic as our billionaire business tycoon / heavy metal guitarist / well-endowed male dominatrix ("dominator?") object of desire and main character at least he receives some effort at character definition. Weirdly, our female heroine receives just about no development whatsoever. Perhaps her personality and appearance were explored in the same depth she eventually is by our billionaire in a previous outing but at least remind us what she looks like. Anyway, the story hits all the regular stops along the route with our Anna Steele-esque (right down to the job as a secretary) virginal protagonist getting her groove back with the tatoo'd and oddly whiny aforementioned stud. The plot never rises about the standard ( "I've come to fix the cable",) level. The interactions between our couple has all the unlikely frequency you would expect (unless you haven't been in a relationship) and a scene where Melanie gets shared among band rivals who broke out into fisticuffs a few chapters back breaks even the novel's limited rulebook. In short, by the numbers but not awful.

Did not finish. This was terrible. The "Alpha" in this book really isn't Alpha, as the "shy" and always blushing heroine is the one who's always taking her clothes off and throwing herself at him. He never once initiates sex with her, just gets jealous when she flirts with other men. Again, this girl is supposed to be "shy". She isn't. Also, this couple cannot have sex without role-playing, which is weird and awkward to read. This is a common theme in Opal Carew's books, and is the reason I won't be reading anymore of them. Lastly, the thing I hated most about this book, is the hero goes by three different names. His real name, Rafe, his rock band name, Storm ( which I found ridiculous), and Mr. Ranier. The heroine worked for him for two years in his office, yet refers to him for most of the book as Storm. It's confusing and cheesy.

Melanie has had the hots for her ex-boss for a while. Now that she is no longer working for him she hopes that he will see her as more than his secretary.

With the help of her friend and his ex, Jessica, they end up in the same place and he does indeed notice her more.

I liked both of these characters and the sex scenes were really hot, but Rafe had some demons he needed to battle that got in the way of him being able to really start a relationship with Melanie outside of the sex.

I may have understood it more if I had read the book about Rafe, Jessica, and Dane before reading this one. As it is, I thought that he needed to grow the f*ck up.

Still, it was ok and I am hoping to see something about Travis, Rafe's bandmate, in the future (or maybe something has already been published?)

For the first hundred of pages I did not like this book I though the scenes were too fast and not in-depth enough. I also felt that some of the characters never left a great impact on me for example Melanie she didn’t impact me at all and her character development didn’t really grow. I felt some of the scene were alittle cringy and I wanted to skip over those parts but I didn’t though. I did get some character development in storm. I did start liking the book near the end and not because it was almost done but because the book kind of got progressively better and more interesting. The highest I would rate is a 2.5 because the book is not entirely bad but it just played into like 10 watt pad stories and put it into one big book.

So overall I liked it but I understand you can love someone and be attracted to others I guess but I did not like that Diego and mainly Travis affected her so much. Storm(Rafe) didn't mind what all four of them did together and it was hot but I wish it she would have said no it okay because she does liked them but I want her to only like/be attracted to/love Storm(Rafe). Overall I guess it was ok though because Storm(Rafe) was okay with it and did not mind and doesn't mind if they do it again. So I guess it alright.

Author Opal Carew's novel, "His to Claim," was okay..., but it was missing something. Before I go into explaining my opinion, let me first tell you that overall, this was a good book. The sexual scenes were explicit as well as arousing, and exciting. And though this novel is now currently listed under the romance genre, I'm unsure if some of you romance lovers will agree with the classification.

Overview: There's this woman, Melanie, and she is totally into her boss, Rafe. Due to Melanie's feelings and Rafe's oblivion in regards to her romantic emotions toward him, she quits her job as his secretary and decides to work at a coffee shop. 'Talk about strange, but okay, let's go with it.' Rafe questions Melanie about why she quit working for him, and her reply was something along the lines of, I want to pursue a career as a freelance artiest, and waiting tables frees up time to do so. After that conservation, Rafe and Melanie so happened to bump into each other, and out of nowhere a sexual relationship emerges between them too. Melanie is instantly smitten with Rafe; however, Rafe has some internal issues he needs to work through before he can fully commit to another woman. And though Melanie is willing to wait, temptation keeps knocking on her door.

Overall the story was good. And as I mentioned before, the sexual scenes were extremely entertaining as well as vivid. My issue, however, was how quickly the story was told, which takes away from reader and character bonding. I never found a rhythm with Melanie. And her emotions, including her sexual ones, read as if they were only surface feelings. In essences, Melanie's character was under developed, whereas Rafe's character wasn't.

I give "His to Claim" 3 stars.

I’m glad they continue the story line but I feel like it was such a drastic change. Melanie’s character was nothing like it was portrayed in the previous book. It did feel a bit redundant. I enjoyed reading it because it had its moments that really captured your heart. Became hard to finish. I wish the story line focused more on rafe rather than storm. I feel that would have been more of a self discovery.

This is one of my favourite books, I love it and I will continue to love it. I am still aware that there are two scenes at the end where he proposes to her. not sure if that is a typo or if it's meant to be there as it happens in the last chapter and then the Epilogue. I do think the Epilogue one is the best as it represents both of who they are.

First of all the narrator reads too fast

I think Rafe learned a few things from his brother, for the sex scenes. I don't think he was like that before the threesomes from the other book (though i've not read the prequel).

and then the foursome

it is interesting to have a story about a male who is reluctant to be and not great at being a dom. he does learn, but i think he should tell her the reason for why he punishes her (that is how you learn), and yeah he was injured but he should be the one to do the aftercare, not her. but i did like that he embraced his inner dom

Ok so I only realized this after but this is the last part of the series…. So I may re-read it after reading the first two parts and the rating might change then. I should have known by the lack of context.

I do not like having DNFs so I did finish it. I should have just went with a DNF.

Basically, this book was like reading porn. Not a very good storyline and lots of sex.
