I was brought up with a picture-perfect family and the life to match. I believed all those happy-ever-after stories momma read to me and the Fairytales she would whisper before bedtime about my Prince Charming finding me one day. Momma found daddy so it was only inevitable I found my prince too, right? *******Tragedy strikes before Lexi's 16th birthday and the flawless life she once knew is shattered and tarnished. Everyone and everything changes, she decides the only way to survive is to keep all her emotions under lock and not let anyone in. She loses friends, the very ones that were by her side most of her life are now the ones bullying her and making her life hell. She's forced to relocate to a small secluded town, little does she know that the town is run by werewolves. Her first night in town she befriends a brown wolf in the woods. Seeking solace in the comfort of the wolf she tells him all her secrets knowing the animal cant betray her or pity her like humans do. One night at a bar she runs into a gorgeous guy named Jax, she’s under the impression he’s human but in fact he’s the soon to be Alpha of the towns pack. Jax immediately feels a connection to her and she feels the same way. A bond forms... What will happen when the brown wolf from the woods enters the picture …in his human form? Will she recognize him? What will happen to Lexi and Jax? Will Lexi’s trust in her friends remain after all the secrets are revealed? Will she accept the fact that her best friends are werewolves and there’s a secret world out there? Will Lexi reveal her secrets? Something she’s ashamed to admit and something that could put them in danger. While she hides her feelings for one of the wolves, she falls madly in love with the other, thinking that her mother was right after all - she’s found her prince charming, tragedy will strike once again. How will she mend her broken heart this time?***Please note***This book contains violence as well as alcohol and drug abuse. It is not for the faint hearted, don't expect to see werewolves running free and frolicking in meadows filled with daisies - want a romantic werewolf/human love story? Then look elsewhere because this is not the book for you. It's raw, gritty and exactly what you would expect from obsessive possessive Alpha's. Want a challenge? Read it.
I kept my writing a secret for so long, not wanting anyone to know about this passion of mine but eventually all those stories needed to be put on paper (or online in my case), I wanted others to enjoy these carefully crafted characters and to possibly get a glimpse into my imagination.
The first book I released was Alexia Eden and I hope all of you young adult fans of fantasy or supernatural go out and have a read.

This is the kind of paranormal book you'd read on Wattpad. What the hell man? This book is the epitome of something I'd rip up and throw away. I feel like I am obligated to criticize this book because it pissed me off. 1.The characters are ANNOYING. I've never read a book where the characters were so unlikable, it's not funny. There was no character development what so ever and when I was starting to like someone... just slightly, they proved to be the most bland and obnoxious people. It was infuriating... 2.The lack of chemistry between the love interests. Was that intentional? I don’t know. But what was up with the multiple LOVE interests? I swear, Alexia or Angel whatever you prefer, she doesn’t know what she wants or who SHE LOVES. "Oh... I love him but I also love them and I am in love with my boyfriend"SHUT UP. Even when she endured that horrible ordeal with the abuse from Drake (WHOM I DESPISE!) she still loved him. And Jax... sigh, just stop. The twins? I don't get them. 3.Poor and unrealistic dialogue. I could not take these people seriously because they either didn't make sense or spoke nonsense or what they said lacked intelligence. Honestly... there was no mature person in this book. Maybe besides Chloe and Ron... still, what the hell? No character has a brain. 4.The protagonist, Alexia (or Angel, whatever) apparently has a golden vagina. EVERY MALE IN THIS CHARACTER EITHER FINDS HER ATTRACTIVE OR IS HEAD OVER HEALS FOR HER. It's nauseating. 5.The male wolves are all hormonal and brainless. What is up with that? Every guy wants to get into Alexia's pants when they catch sight of her. 6.SO MANY TYPOS.

I feel bad for ranting about this book and obviously the author must've worked hard but still, I did not like it at all. I am not going to continue reading the series, because apparently there is a a sequel. Why? Because the whole book is a puddle of nonsense. The book lacked suspense, a stimulant reaction - it only made me feel frustrated with the protagonist.
Well I need to start by telling you that this is a genre I stay away from. I'm just not a paranormal type of girl, but after reading Sophie's fantastic Broken Beautiful series and because I am a huge fan, I had to read Alexia Eden. I enjoyed the Twilight series, so this wasn't completely new territory, but I certainly didn't know what to expect. What I did know was that I would either love it or hate it.
Alexia Eden is a young girl in her senior year who has been moved to a new town by her mother following her father's death. Very much a Daddy's girl, Alexia has a very strained relationship with her mother and being forced into moving away from her friends is tough on her. She soon however meets a group of friends and starts to settle into life. In particular she forms a friendship with Jax the group's leader and Mr popular. She definitely knows she has feelings for Jax but when his best friend Drake shows a romantic interest in her, she starts to date him and Jax steps back unwilling to step on his best friends toes.
What Alexia is unaware of is that her new group of friends are in actual fact a wolf pack, with Jax the Alpha heir apparent and Drake serving as his beta. She loves them both, but this may well lead to her downfall. For Drake's wolf Sebastian isn't the nice guy that Drake is, when Jealousy and paranoia rear their ugly heads someone is bound to get hurt. Alexia will start to question herself, her family and secrets may or may not come to a head.
I loved this book, yes it is paranormal but it has a real YA/NA feel to it; which is probably why I loved it so much. Yes the Werewolf elements are a huge part of this story but it is also a coming of age story about family, first loves and becoming an adult. I loved the characters (okay, maybe not ?) but they all have very important and specific roles within the storyline. OMG - I loved Jax and to coin a Twighlight term, I am so Team Jax, although their are lots of candidates for Alexia to choose from, she really is spoilt for choice.
So from someone that tends to avoid this genre, I was so shocked that it sucked me in. The story is full of twists and turns and so fast paced that you will struggle to put it down. In true Sophie style, we are left with the mother of all cliffhangers!! My god, where will the story go from here? who knows, but what I do know is that I am waiting with baited breath. I know Angel Blackwood is currently in the works, it will be an immediate 1 click for me. Bring it the hell on!
A highly recomended Paranormal book with a YA feel - read it!!
OK, Sophie Summers is killing me with her Cliffhangers!!!! This book was like taking a wild ride on a roller coaster. The highs were really high and lows were rock bottom. It was extremely hard to get threw the low with Alexia. My heart was breaking for this broken and confused girl I had to put the book down and walk away for a few. But I forced myself to continue reading because I was hoping it got better for her. And just when I thought it couldn't get worst for her it did, but then she got the last laugh in the end! I had just about given up all hope of Alexia getting her fairy-tale ending, she scents her mate(s) ....dun dun dunnnnn....CLIFFHANGER!!!! ARGGHHHH!!!! WHO IS IT?????
Every unbelievable minute of it!!! So yeah, love this author, This is my second book what I read from her and let me tell...
image:
This book is full of twists and turns, upside and downs, that you have to take a break sometimes just to stop yourself from throwing the book against the wall. I'm used to raw scenes, but, man, the abuse is ....You little piece of... DRAKE!!!!
image:
most scariest for me was when he would ask for her to say it and she would say ,,I Love You,,... jeez creepy much...
image:
But I had problem with Alexia, I mean girl seriously?! And then again I can't really blame her, the history she had and all that it kinda makes sense. I really thought that the JAx pack it's gonna be the right place for her, only if Drake and JAx weren't that selfish I mean for reals?!Drake you know what you did so don't look so innocent and JAx with all your she is not good enough and declining you speech... you are little shits....
image:
but then BOOM!!!!!! Enter the twins!!!
image:
can not wait for the next book and I thing she is where she is supposed to be!! that damn cliffy, but I hope it is who I think it is ;)
totally drooling! Stayed up all night to finish Alexia Edenand it was totally worth it! I need me some Talon and Tyler. Aaaaand maybe a side of Jax too. Awesome book for a first time author. Sophie Summers I need more pleeeeeease. One thing though, make sure Lexi gives Drake a hell of an asswooping or better yet - let the twins do it! This book is unlike all those supernatural books that involve werewolves. This book maintains the fact that just like wild animals, werewolves are just that....wild. The author doesnt sugar coat anything. Some scenes are raw and gritty and it makes you want to throw your e-reader against the wall but I loved every second of it.
It's as if the author wrote it all at one sitting, never re-read it, then started selling it. I don't get it. Why would anyone sell what was obviously a first draft? Spelling, grammar, flow were so bad. Yes, there has to be some "wth" to a paranormal story, but there also needs to be some normal human reaction as well, but this story lacked anything you could relate to on a basic human level. It's too bad since the story does have potential, but it needed a few more passes and another critcal eye before it was ready for publication.
I loved this. So different from other stories. I hate Drake....I'm so pissed at Jax. Alexia made me scream at her, cry for her, and just want to hug and protect her. Damn it I'm still so pissed at Jax...he makes me so mad. I hope her mate is Talon or Ty....or both. I don't think that's true....it's probably Greg knowing her luck....or fate is it. I can't wait for more. Sophie you rock!!!!
Okay I loved this book even with the KILLER cliffhanger I am still hooked on this series I can not wait to read the 2nd book when it comes out as I am dying to know who her Mate is ??? will she accept or reject her 2nd chance mate will is be the Twins or ????? who who who ??? I really can't wait to find out this was a fantastic read I just loved it .. :)
Ugh. Talk about drama. This book was nonstop. The heroine constantly had 4 guys swooning after her (in addition to the other 4, EVERY man wanted her). Throw in insta-love (for all characters), a book virgin, then top it off with a shittyy Cliffhanger ending and this hot mess of a book is what you get. I hate cliffhanger and was eager for some sense of closure but was once again left frustrated for see book 2 is not even out yet and this book was published in 2013. Also, all the tears. Good lord it was exhausting. I think every single man in this book even cried repeatedly. This book was beyond dysfunctional and made for a draining read. I'll be adding this writer to my "avoid" list. I'm burned out on this cliffhanger trend. This book did have potential but ultimately ended up being a waste of my time.
I am unsure if I read the same book or not. But it has all the same character names. This book has a pretty high rating, and its a wattpad book. I get it, I was not expecting literary genius here. Really I wasn't. I was totally prepared for this book to be some kind of makeshift fan-fic thing. That was o.k because that was what I needed. I needed not to use to many brain cells right now. But you see what was supposed to be a brainless read, turned into a stressful read. Because I don't get it. Really I don'. You see the MC is not a Mary Sue. No Mary sue is way to nice for her. She more like a chicken running around with its head cut off.
Indroducing the MC
O.K so her boyfriend of like three days Drake is a werewolf. Which is the whole reason I wanted to read the book in the first place.
NO DARLINGS NOT THAT DRAKE
So Drake ends up smelling the wolf scent of two males on her after she spends the night with two twins who are part of the wolfpack that her aunt is in. The twins basically try to rape her in bed, but don't worry its o.k because their really sorry and both start crying tears about how they just couldn't keep there wolf in.
STILL With Me ?
So then Drake smells the scent of the two boys on her, and long story short he pretty much beats the crap out of her. But don't worry its ok because
HE'S Really Sorry About It
So about five seconds later she sleeps with him. Literally Like Five Seconds.
So then the next day her friends see her beat up and blah blah blah she tells them drake didn't mean too. Eventually everyone sort of forgives him and she declares how shes so in love with Drake and Jax. ( I don't have enough time to talk about Jax)
She ends up meeting up with the twins who are explaining to some girls who how they are only using them for sex. Then get this,
.She tells them they need to have more respect for themselves. They can't go around letting guys treat you like garbage.

Well where to begin with this review, The reason I give this 3/3.5 stars is the fact bits of it really annoyed me. One of the reasons being Lexi, she fell in love with everyone instantly, all that came out of her mouth was I love you...by the end of the book she was in love with 4 boys!! Her relationship with drake was a joke I didn't really like him from the start I was defo team Jax, that is until the twins made an appearance ;) I felt like she was just with drake for the sake of it and then when the abuse started she just took it, I wanted to shake her and tell her to fight back, dump him anything, but she just allowed him to break her it was very frustrating, I do understand why she was Scared to leave drake etc because of the domestic violence and until your in that situation your self you don't understand what goes on but I just wanted her to fight him I mean she had the power to at least hurt him or call Johnny and the twins but she didn't. And she still loved and wanted to be with him still after everything....Urmm ok!
I thought the other characters were great, I loved the twins, Ronny and Chloe, I started going off Jax at the end he didn't do himself any favours either rejecting Lexi like that.
Overall though it was a good book, there was just certain bits that didn't work for me , I will still read the second book as it was left on a cliffhanger which by the way I think her mate might be Gregg?? As he joined the pack or it could be the twins, I'm just throwing Gregg out there as I think the twins might have been a bit obvious but we shall see...
***I hint at what happens in the book. But it's a most definite read. The absolute best!***
I found this author from her TBBT series. I wasn't expecting much because I usually find some of their old characters rewritten in a new story. But was I surprised! I loved this book. I pulled an all nighter just to finish it. It was worth it. The book is such a roller coaster and I am hoping that Angel Blackwood lives up to her name, strong and resilient. I really want to see her become the alpha of her pack. I don't care too much for the whole mate thing. I kind of just want to know why a whole bunch of wolves had a thing for her. Five guys were after her. Five! I hope she says it has to do with her being a half wolf/human. I just want to see some major character change from meek Alexia to strong Angel. I like the whole roller coaster of emotions from the first book, but I don't want her to stay as her pushover self. Like how she left her friends and didn't try to ease their guilt. She just left them to wallow in it. It seemed like the perfect form of revenge for everything they did to her. Except for Ronnie, I really felt for her.
Sophie hasn't released a date for the second book because she works and goes to school as well. You should definitely visit her website.

What a refreshing new read in the paranormal genre! I thoroughly enjoyed Alexia Eden from this new (to me) author. The twists and turns in this book kept me on the edge of my seat and made the cliffhanger that much more brutal. I rolled my eyes, cried, and held my breath all while reading this book in the middle of the night because I could not put it down. The love triangle… no, that’s not right… love square?... with Lexi, Jax, Drake and the twins was awesome! Lexi deserves some happiness after the abuse from Drake and Jax’s rejection. I can’t wait for the release of Angel Blackwood… Who is going to be her mate… or should I say, mates! Ha... in your face Drake and Jax... Lexi gets 2 for the price of 1!!
One of my five star ratings! I just have to brag on this author! Sophie you are a genius. Neither one of your books are predictable and for that I love you! I am so glad to finally get my multiple love triangle romance books without wanting to throw my iPad at someone because the plot is so obvious to who will get the girl before I'm done reading. The girl is a true teenager with all the fickle feelings. Alexia doesn't know what love is but then again who does so young? Sophie has me guessing who she would end up with (alexia). I'm rooting for the twins, but idk the ending is a cliffhanger! Ahh I need the second book ASAP! This book is definitely a good paranormal dark romance. Five effing stars to you Sophie ;)
I started this book with low expectations so I wasn’t too disappointed. The writing was juvenile, the sentences were long, the punctuations were off, and it lacked emotion. There was just too much telling and not enough showing. At one point in the beginning, Lexi is told that the dog in the woods she met wasn’t a dog but a wolf. I swear, I couldn’t tell if she did or didn’t believe it, only that she kept going back into the woods to see “the dog”.
Maybe, just maybe… I would’ve went on reading if I could’ve gotten a sense of some type of emotion. You can tell me all you like how someone is feeling but I want to feel it too. Not just read about it.
After her fathers death alexia aka Lexi moves to s new town with her so-called druggie and alcoholic mother. With the abuse and anger of a few selected people she becomes fearful and scared for her life. She stands up for people who supposedly love her and the people who hurt her. After many hardships she finds out who the people are around her and discovers who she is...
This is an incredible book I recommend to anyone who loves wolves, mystery and to be left wondering what happens next.
I never review books but something about this book made me feel obligated to review. It started off fine just like any paranormal romance but from there it just got worse. I read the entire thing hoping that maybe it would get better and that it was a joke but NO. the characters were AWFUL. most of the characters were extremely ABUSIVE. I just wanted to fair warn anyone wanting to read this i don't recommend it at all. I had to reread 3 of my favorite books just to get my irritation and hate of this book out of my mind.
This book was totally awesome. A different take on anything werewolf I have ever read. I was enchanted by the novel and couldn't help but adore it. I even cried as the emotions in the novel came to light.
WARNING: There are some touchy subjects in this novel, such as abuse, alcoholism and drug abuse, etc.
The ending was great but a cliffhanger, so be prepared to scream, cry, stomp your feet and want more!
I hate talking about book or leaving reviews I give too much away do mean too but I do I just have to say i could not put this book down I forgot to cook dinner until my four year old daughter said mama I'm hungry bad mom anyway you got to get this book so good and the end I yelled who is her other mate Damon talk about wanting more!!!! Can't wait for the next o and I put my kindle down long enough to cook dinner lol
I couldn't finish it. Damn that book was stupid. Everything was just so, I don't know immature or something. It's like a teenager wrote this book. Nothing made sense, characters weren't likable, Lexi was a stupid bitch, and don't even get me started on the dialogue. Seriously even the fan fiction I've read somewhere in the internet were better than this. Good thing I didn't pay for this book or I would be pissed. How this book have a rating over 4 stars is beyond me.
All I can say is I WANT MORE!!! It has been a long time since I've read a book and read the last sentence and thought NOOOOOOO, this can't be over!!! Please write the sequel, or part two, whichever, just don't let this be the end! Your book was AMAZING!!! Thank you for writing and letting us read! :)
Okay. Alexia serious makes me mad most of the time but yet I do feel bad for her, and then I don't. I have such mixed feeling for her character. This mate better be the freaking twins, because I will freak if not. I'm just so interested to see where she goes with this, because I am absolutely done with drake and have been since the beginning
