Slapstick silly RomCom with vampires and the tropes just keep coming. Definitely entertaining

Okay, this was a cute novel about a boy with a blood curse that makes women find him irresistible wandering into a town that has been taken over and turned into a sovereign nation by vampires (or The Sacred Blooded, as they like to call themselves). Once there, he is turned into a minion by the first girl he meets, even though the creation doesn't take hold and he is just a candidate for such. Hijinks ensue. If you want a quirky, funny, and light bit of reading to enjoy your day with, this novel should be right up your alley.

It really was not compelling. Flat characters and not much of a plot.

I thought it would be good from the title and genres BookWalker put it in. I only got 1/2 through before I stopped. It is a guy who has a spell on him that activated when he got into 6th grade. It made him unresistable to girls including his own family members. He got sick of it and ran away. The part that I tried to power through was when he was effectively made into a slave. How he got to there is he hiked up a mountain and got to another nation that is effectively Japan but ruled by "scarlet blood vampires". Not all of them are thus the "" symbols. The first girl he ran into tried to make him her slave but also wanted to make sure he would not be missed. He was missed mostly by his sister. At the point I stopped she hasn't come to recuse him or anything of the sort. He is unsure if he wants to be a slave or not at this point as he thinks it is better than having to dodge being used by girls at school and girls at home but at other times he does not like it as he is being used as an object. More so at the point I stopped at as the archbishop was able to do her vampire thing to him to control him to the extent to make him come to her. The story also wasn't that compelling either. A standard school life story that 1 of them sleeps in class while the others don't and thus get better grades than her. While out of school she is a main character.

As the story isn't that compelling, I have other choices to read right now, and it just is not good in my mind I gave it 1 star. As there is a volume 2 there is a market for this though I do not know who it would be.
