Hannah has her masters degree in Library Sciences, a big student loan, and no job. If it wasn't for the maids it would have been much better! To explain, we have a wonderfully erotic and dirty discovery going on her between Hannah and Lord Carling, and we know other things are going on, but when towards the end of the book, all the elements are put together and it was, meh, not up to the same standards as the rest of the book
