I Shall Not Die: Living A Psalm 118:17 Existence

Rate this book
When she became a blushing bride at the age of 21, noted author, Kendra Norman-Bellamy, had no foresight that by age 28, she would become a weeping widow. But she did. In everyone's life, rain falls. And often times that rain was never in the televised forecast. There was no warning and no time to prepare for the downpour or the resulting flood. Of course, it is not natural rain that is being spoken of. In this case, 'rain' metaphorically represents the tribulations that often blindside and befall even the strongest of Christians. And when the storms come, there are two we can stand up and live or lie down and die. The question is...which will you choose?

I have hosted and attended several book signings that featured Kendra Norman Bellamy. Her spirit and character have always fascinated me and I have admired her from a far. After reading "I Shall Not Die: Living A Psalm", I understand where her strength, calm and spirit come from. This is an awesome testimony to her late husband, Jimmy Homes and their daughters.

This is the first title by Kendra Norman-Bellamy that I've read. Kendra shared how she became a young widow and mother of two daughters in the mid 90s. She doesn't hold anything back in this short biography of her life with Jimmie Lee Holmes.
