What a wonderful collection of memories from days gone by. This book reminded me of the stories my grandmother use to tell me. Precious memories. Very refreshing to read about children being raised in the country and in the love and admonition of the Lord.

I grew up spending my summers in the West Virginia mountains on my parents's Christmas tree farms. I could really relate to a lot of what Alyce Faye Bragg described in her compilation of previously published articles. Her writing about human life and how it intertwines with nature took me back to that time in my childhood that I continue to treasure.
