Normal? What’s that? Sara’s life is anything but normal.
To start, her delicious, new boyfriend, Derek, needs Sara’s help finding his sister’s killer. Sara uses herself as bait, but it all goes wrong. Sara’s life is in danger. Will Derek find her in time?
All Sara wants is one drama-free weekend. What she gets is just another day of criminals, drugs, guns, knives . . . and sexy cops . . . all the normal stuff.
The more I read of Sara Martin, the less I like her. Her new wealth seems to have made her a snob. Unlike Stephanie Plum, Sara is very derogatory about her heavy, flambountly dressed side kick. Then there are virtually two separate 'mysteries' in this book that have no connection whatsoever. Add to that the typos, improper spacing, missing or duplicated words...it was a struggle to finish.
I couldn't wait to read this second story about Sara and her adventures. I know people like her who just fall into things without trying so it was fun to read and laugh along. It had action and adventure and I really enjoyed it.
