After a rough summer of humiliation and alienating her friends, Morgan Taylor begins to pick up the pieces to repair her life. But things aren’t great. Although she’s back on speaking terms with her friends, it’s not the same as it used to be. Irelyn and Bailey have grown closer, sharing many things in common, leaving Morgan feeling a little lost. She struggles with her feelings of jealousy, longing to be part of the old gang. Enter Evan McNew. He waltzes into Morgan’s life, adding more mixed feelings. As she gets to know him, it throws her life into more turmoil – especially as she tries to come to terms with her lingering feelings for Spencer.
Morgan's story was one I highly anticipated after falling in love with books 1 and 2. I felt like I had waited forever for her story to be told. However, it didn't live up to the expectations or anticipation I had for it. I was also expecting a different ending then I was given. I will say though, I'm glad it wasn't the ending I had thought it would be all along.
Unfortunately, I have to say, I actually found myself not liking Morgan the entire book, which sucks to type this sentence. But I have to be honest here. She was mad a lot. Overreacted a lot. In the beginning, she seemed rude and pushed Evan off a lot. She got upset at things Evan did, that caused me to not understand why she acted the way she did at those times. She had feelings for another guy most of the book and down played hers and Evan's relationship a lot. Took an incident for her to realize her feelings for Evan and Spencer, which was ridiculous it had to go there at all. She stomped or stormed off after an argument and would ignore Evan afterwards and then apologize and what would he say? No, I'm the one who's sorry. REALLY? That was annoying.
Morgan's friends, Bailey and Irelyn SUCKED big time. Collin and Lucas appear in the book but have no real roles, which was shameful. The book lacked in depth and story line. I felt bored most of the book and I felt there was no real point to the story. I get the storyline, and she was like an outsider, yet she also kind of put herself there too, yet the story just didn't flow well. I felt that all conversations with Morgan were superficial and forced. I didn't feel any chemistry with her and Evan. Several times Evan felt too childish.
The only real drama would be: Owen shows up in the story and stirs up a small amount of trouble. Spencer's girlfriend Jessica tries to be a source of contention for Morgan most of the book then drops off out of the story. And last but not least, Spencer, without knowing it, is a source of contention a few times for Evan and Morgan.

I was happy with the end of this series. While Morgan was not my favorite, I liked seeing her growth. She is more like the average girl with insecurities and timidity that so many struggle with. I liked seeing what was going on with Irelyn, Lucas, Bailey,Collin, and Spencer too. All The Wrong Reasons is still my favorite in this series but overall I was happy with this.
Im glad Morgan finally got her story! Its nice story, its nice to see the characters so much involved. I felt there was a nice amount of depth to the story line, and it flows nicely. couple of times i skimmed a couple of pages, other than that I cant fault it.
