What an exciting continuing story of Lee’s struggle to
try and remain alive long enough by finding 4 Ceteri artifacts that can save the home planet of an alien race which “gifted” some humans an ability to travel using Ley lines but in so doing eventually weakens them and causes them to die and fade away.
The story opens with Lee finding herself in a prison cell in the FBI betrayed by a person she trusted but who turned out to be a FBI agent undercover. The cuffs she has on prevents her from escaping using her abilities but she is shocked when out of no where a person who shouldn’t be alive appears and breaks her out. She finds there is another realm and some people don’t die upon death but are given an option of a new life if they want it. She is offered that opportunity. She considers it but sees many things that makes her wonder if that new life is what she really wants after all.
This is an exciting, edge of your seat, adrenaline, pounding story that you’ll be reading into the wee hours of the morning because you won’t want to put it down! It will keep you glued to the pages because it’s so well written and is so interesting!
Lee emotions are all over the place with people who have meant so much to her. Her old crew mates, Shane, Sam, Risa and Finn. Then finding the “new”
Shane and trying to understand him as well as Finn/ Adam and her feelings towards him. All the while she is still trying to find the objects for the Ceteri and give them to them so they will take away the magic they’ve given her that is killing her.
It’s been an exciting series thus far and I, for one, can’t wait until the next book Thief of Time comes out to continue this exciting series!
I certainly enthusiastically recommend you get not only this book but this entire series and be prepared to journey beyond the boundaries of our earthy realm
to another planet and meet a dying race who want a human girl to save their race and world by finding four artifacts they hid on earth many millennial before!

I have looked forward to this book since the last book came out. This book could have been done so differently... but she went the: broke out of prison, can jump in and out of a different reality where a mysterious being is controlling people and creating armies because, reasons. It was nothing like what the description led me to believe. As soon as I realized where this was going, I was incredibly disappointed. I read on but never got into the book.

We are back in this incredible fantasy world and Lee is in prison after being betrayed but not for long as a familiar face breaks her out and takes her to the realm of the dead. One bonus is that she is now totally pain free, one not so good is that the longer she remains here the deader she becomes. The thing is though, is her work done? Is her crew safe or have her actions out them all in mortal danger? It’s one hell of a conundrum as we jump back in feet first into this exciting and enthralling addition. Action packed, adventure filled, this keeps you on your toes, guessing what’s gonna happen next as the author weaves their magic and throws twists and turns and surprises our way. So so good!

This is the third in the fascinating “Shadowed Minds” series. Here we follow Lee’s quest for a cure for the death sentence that her Liminal ability has given her. Can she save her crew and will she have eternity with her soulmate? I love this world that Bree Moore has created. Mesmerising, captivating and unique! What more could you ask for?

Bree did it again! I have been a fan of Lee Mitchell since the beginning. It always amazes me how the author comes up with so many interesting adventures. This one brings someone back from the past who we thought we knew buuuuut... I'm sad it is over, but glad there is another right behind it.

Exciting next installment in the shadowed minds series. I loved how she brought seemingly random threads from the prequel and previous two books together in this one to answer questions about the magic system that I didn’t even know I had. Eagerly waiting for the next book!
