If you enjoy a good zombie story, this book won't disappoint you. What I found interesting about it was the added details; the author's version of a zombie-invested world. It wasn't your usual zombie tale, as I thought it might be. The main character, Tara, leads her team of hunters to find a mutated zombie named Ralph. Ralph is an "intelligent" zombie. He was changed by an early strand of the virus and his goal is to create others like him. That was my favorite element of the book because it differed from other zombie stories/movies/TV shows that are highly popular today.

This book is unique and action-packed with likable characters and what seemed like an ending open for a sequel. Being intrigued by Ralph and their mission to find a cure kept me reading. I especially couldn't put the book down when it came to the last two chapters. I hope there is a planned sequel; I'd like to see further development in the characters and the possibility of a cure.
