This book was super helpful! And interesting. Maybe a tiny bit creepy. It really helped me to be able to see life in space and creatures like that from a Biblical perspective.
Saturated with scriptural support, every point made was strongly supported. This man knows his Bible very well!

AN INSIGHTFUL PRESENTATION OF BIBLICAL EVIDENCE ABOUT UFOs, ETC.
Author Jeffrey W. Mardis wrote in the Preface to this 2015 (3rd revised edition) book, “[This book] is aimed primarily … [at] Born-again, Bible-believing Christians who are not satisfied with the current … Christian education regarding this subject. This book attempts to collect into one volume all biblical information relevant to life in the Universe… and deals with such fascinating subjects as: extraterrestrial life, outer space, the structure of the Universe, space travel, angels, devils, cherubim, celestial creatures, giants, dinosaurs, hybrid monsters, aliens, science fiction, evolution, witchcraft, end-times technology and more.”
He continues in the Introduction, “This book is primarily about [what] the Bible … says regarding INTELLIGENT LIFE and … life beyond Earth… The information presented … is an ‘apologetics’ resource… the book is based on the assumption that the King James Bible is true and without error… it will act as our Final Authority, regardless of ideas and opinions of modern philosophy, psychology, science or theology. I take every word of the Bible literally… unless other scriptures dictate that it absolutely cannot be taken that way.”
He explains in the first chapter, “The scriptures indicate that some sort of major paradigm shift… took place at some point AFTER the fall of Adam, but BEFORE the Flood of Noah. Between the approximate years of 4000 BC and 2344 BC… However, the New Testament describes a future time of apostasy which will parallel ‘the days of Noe’… indicating that the entire ancient downfall was within the pre-Flood lifetime of Noah… This early transformation in global thinking is not mentioned explicitly by scripture. But its fruits are clearly seen, resulting in God’s wrath being judiciously poured out on a young mankind.” (Pg. 28)
He states, “the first extraterrestrial ‘close encounters’ take place in the sixth chapter of Genesis… it triggered a detrimental change in mankind’s attitude and thinking towards God. The influence of these alien visitors … not only helped shape the thinking of much of the world prior to the days of the Great Flood, but also afterward Pre-Flood peoples had direct, firsthand access to these things, their Earth-born children (the giants), and the corrupt higher wisdom they espoused… Such close contact between a young, more innocent man and a race of beings which had no conscience … placed man’s sin nature on the fast-track and on a collision course with God… Post-Flood memories of these encounters manifested themselves in the form of paganism and witchcraft, giving rise to the world of the occult and the ancient ‘Mystery Religions’… this type of belief was one of the major reasons why God called out a people unto Himself in the person of Abram.” (Pg. 32-33) Later, he adds, “the ‘giants’ somehow made a return following the Flood (Gen 6:4). However, as Old Testament races of the creatures were eradicated (Deut 2), and the memory of their off-world fathers forgotten, the history and knowledge of their existence became buried in legend and myth.” (Pg.. 38)
He observes, “For the last eight decades science fiction novels, comic books and movies … replace the Bible in the hearts and minds of man and women worldwide… A subliminal … COUNTERFEIT GOSPEL … that man’s future will involve the arrival of super-beings from space, or that man will evolve into super-humans… The vehicles for spreading this gospel are evolution and science fiction…” (Pg. 92)
He suggests, “The modern search for life in space is built squarely upon Darwin’s theory of a mindless force of fate which is supposedly responsible for all LIFE and INTELLIGENCE in the Universe… NASA’s exploratory space programs admit to this…” (Pg. 125)
He summarizes, “1.) The belief in alien life on other planets was not caused by pre-Flood monotheism… 2.) The first extraterrestrial invasion (Gen 6:4) initiated polytheism after Noah’s Flood… the false belief … splintered into … the belief that INTELLIGENT LIFE populated MANY PLANETS… 3.) One of the first major religious systems that helped mainstream Extraterrestrialism was the Roman Catholic Church… 4.) … the idea of planetary similarities leads many to accept the possibility of life on other planets… 5.) For many, the vast size of the Universe, with its seemingly endless supply of stars and other planetary bodies, presents a major stumbling block… 6.) Another major cog in … Extraterrestrialism, is the mid-twentieth century advent of the baffling UFO phenomenon… 7.) And finally, the stimulation of the imagination of man… through the medium of SCIENCE FICTION has played a MAJOR ROLE in the modern advancement of the idea.” (Pg. 136-138)
He notes, “The words Venus, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto appear nowhere in the Bible, while the word ‘planets’ (which includes every planet in the Universe except the Earth) appears only once. [2 Kings 23:5]. The Book of Job mentions four star constellations: Pleiades, Orion, Mazzaroth and Arcturus [38:31-33]… The Bible only mentions two planets directly by name; one is Earth and the other is Jupiter. The Earth is mentioned 982 times, while Jupiter is mentioned only once [Acts 19:35]… God does not interact personally with any other planet in the Universe other than planet Earth…” (Pg. 172-173)
He acknowledges, “there are no explicit scriptures forbidding manned space exploration. But there is STRONG EVIDENCE to suggest otherwise… I also recognize that… it’s only natural for fallen man to want to go there. After all, being without God and Christ, mankind has no hope…” (Pg. 192)
He states, “To classify man as an ‘animal’ … is to spit in the face of God Almighty. It is a blasphemy of the worst sort. Man looks the way he does because GOD LOOKS THE SAME WAY---but in a more perfect form…” (Pg. 239)
He speculates, “Perhaps certain modern UFOs are SATANIC COUNTERFEITS of this particular Bible life form [‘Symbiotic’]. A situation where the spirits of living creatures are being shared with flying machines. If true, it would explain how so many such objects seem to move and react with intelligence.” (Pg. 251)
He argues, “Many assume that alien life from distant planets frequently visits the Earth (usually depicted as highly advanced, humanoid-type creatures piloting spacecraft), but the bible does not teach this… highly advanced, highly intelligent forms of life regularly interact with the Earth and its inhabitants… the Earth is also the focus of the most powerful and malevolent evil force in the Universe---Satan, the original sinner… the scriptures show that space travel is nothing new. The thing that IS new, however, is the idea that space travel requires some sort of flying craft…” (Pg. 289)
He asserts, “Giants are real… The proof of giant men-like beings is without question when examined in the light of Holy Writ. They are literal, genetic misfits who first show up on this Earth around 5,885-4,360 years ago… Later remnant appearances of these creatures place their average height between 9 to 12 feet tall…” (Pg. 376) Later, he adds, “One may very well reject the Genesis 6 ‘fallen angels’ concept to explain the giants … but that does not eliminate their reality. The scriptures verify their existence.” (Pg. 384)
He observes, “the obvious question arises: Where have all these giant bones, armor and weaponry gone to? Have they been hurriedly whisked away and stashed in some musty old government basement…? Possibly. The problem is, the existence of giants … creates a real problem for the evolutionist. So… they simply get rid of the evidence….” (Pg. 396)
He says, “The arrival of the extraterrestrial angels brought with it a mingling which corrupted the seed of mankind… This co-mingling produced GIGANTISM in mankind… this alien mutation of ‘gigantism’ may have also somehow spread to the animal world. This could also help explain why the vast majority of these GIANT CREATURES WERE NOT aboard Noah’s ark. How this was possible exactly, I do not know…” (Pg. 399-400)
He points out, “Many Christians today claim that aliens are ‘Nephilim’… To my knowledge, there have been no close encounters with giants which match those found in scripture… No giant, 13-foot tall, men have been encountered departing UFOs. This means … all modern aliens cannot be classified as pure angelic-human offspring.” (Pg. 449)
He summarizes, “THE UNIVERSE IS NOT DESIGNED FOR LIFE---ONLY PLANET EARTH… This is one way that we can KNOW that there is NO LIFE ON OTHER PLANETS… outer space is now purposely a REALM OF DEATH and the primary dwelling place of Satan…” (Pg. 471)

I bought this book as it was recommended or mentioned by another author. Finally started into it.
I managed to get about 1/3 of the way through before putting it in my Fire Place to be more useful as generating heat.
That was a couple of books ago, so I don't remember what caused me to throw it out, but I wanted to record my thoughts to ensure I never buy it or any other by this author ever again.

Very interesting points in these pages that are scripture supported. It made me go back and read some passages again which is what I wanted from this book.
There's not a lot in this genre to compare to, but in terms of nonfiction, it's well done.

Excellent book
I highly recommend this book. It was well written and doctrinaly sound. Backs up everything with Scripture. Easy to read.
